ice is cheap here. i feel like they could charge a lot more for it. my fridge broke and being able to get cheap ice close by was very helpful.awesome little store, reliable for beer, ice, cold drinks, and other necessities.

Selection of market items, mostly drinks (water, soda and beer), snacks and ice. Things are a little on the expensive side, but if you need it, then you have to pay up. Better to bring it with you and not need or use it, than to pay double what it costs at the regular market.

I was surprised at the quality of food. They are open only on the weekend but my roast beef sandwich was delicious. If you're in the area, stop and give it a try!!

Went to the store and got some cheese from the cold case. Then went next store to that wine tasting room, had a blast.Then went to the hungry flats dinner all in the same parking lot.

Empty shelves, very little offered and $8.43 for a bag of ice and 2 waters. Not really a grocery store but there truly isn't anything else around.

Had a nice visit at lockwood store looking for something to eat . Water my dog at the lawn aera. An drank about three arizonas. Good people good time.

The Lockwood General store is an oasis in a landscape barren of any AM PM's or 7 Elevens. It is located on G 14 and Jolon road. If you are going to Fort Hunter Ligett or coming from Lake Nacimiento you may want to stop and pick up ice, beer or sodas. There is no place else to shop for miles. The young lady maning the counter was very pleasant and grew up in the area. This little General Store is situated in one of the most beautiful places in California. It is not just a store it is a destination.
