A lovely place to stay if you want to stay local to Livingston. Wonderful staff, Stephanie and Melissa were both very helpful and friendly. We were here five nights right after it switched to a best western facility and it was a great experience. The rooms were clean and they accommodated our Housekeeping and towel refresh requests promptly. Next time we're in the area, we will stay here again!

This is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in, brand doesn't matter when I say this. This is the cleanest Motel 6 that I've ever stayed in. The staff are the kindest, most helpful people I've ever encountered. We got a double bed room, and it did have a coffee pot, fridge, and microwave. The shower was hot, towels smelled clean like bleach (yayy). It was really quiet. They allowed me to park my truck in the lot, as long as it was at the entrances and I backed in. Super nice because there's new signs saying there's no truck parking in the street anymore. I could have parked at the TA, but I hate doing that. This place is amazing. Thank you staff.

Overall, my experience was satisfactory, but it could have been exceptional with better staff training or, at the very least, improved attitudes. Two female staff members, in particular, stood out in this regard. The updated room, reasonable price, and excellent coffee were the redeeming qualities of this establishment. However, I cannot award a five-star rating due to the ongoing renovations during my stay. Construction noise and missing hallway doors were disruptive, and the elevator was outdated and slow.

I would give 0 if I could this is a fairly new but absolutely disgusting old motel 6 in Livingston ca, do not waste your money or time renting a room here, they have bed bugs, they will take a 60 cash deposit for the room pocket the money then charge you a second $60 deposit, and not give either deposit back, this is after we left the room because of the bed bugs.the motel then got rude and said they would charge an additional 80 deposit to my card for smoking when we did not. All in all $200 deposit, and a $113 rental to rent a bed bug infested room that we did not even stay in.. stay safe and keep your hard earned$ never rent a room from this establishment, it's infested pretty rundown and is staffed by crooks that will steal your deposit and if you ask about they will take more.Rooms: The rooms are just a very small basic old cheap room, they stole 200 deposit , 60 in a cash deposit , 60 on a card after checking out. And an additonal 80 deposit charged because i complained that they charged me 60 twice , the front desk said it is in the small print that ia signed checking inThe room had bed bugs, the walls are not sound insulated , you can hear throught the walls clearly.it is loud and the front desk clerk was rude, stole money, and is aggressive if you ask about the stolen deposit money.Safety: Not safe from the motel raking the deposit twice and charging up to 200 for breaking policy if you complainNoteworthy details: It is a bad motel in Livingston CA, not alot in Livingston , probably one of the worst roo.a I've ever rented. Only reason we rented it was supposed to be 113 and all and all they charged $313 for a room that was only occupied for 4 hours until bed bug discovered. Stay safe and don't stay here if you value your safety , comfort or money , and the worst and rudest front desk staff.

Horrible a huge rip off took 60 cash deposit then lied said I did not leave Vashon deposit 2 witness me and boyfriend. Then the motel charged additional 60 on ATM card the room was 130 plus 120 (2× deposit) when i called next day to complain the front desk clerk said very rudely they can charge up to 200 for deposit it is in the small print u sign when checking in. So 330 for a very basic small room it appeared clean woke up at 2 am with several bed bug bites so we left considering we had checked in at 10 pm left at 2 and may possibly end up being charged 339 for the 4 hours.... don't stay here its not a good motel and they will rip you off.

One of the cleanest and most welcoming Motel 6s I have stayed at so far. It literally smells clean and fresh as you enter the door to the reception area. A very good place to stay and with easy access from HWY 99. Not much to criticize about this Motel 6, but I wish they could find a different solution when it comes to the refrigerators in the rooms. The fridges are, firstly, very small, and secondly, they are placed on the floor, which means that you literally have to crawl or lie flat on the floor to retrieve or place things in the fridge. The only people who profit from this are chiropractors and physiotherapists. I challenge Motel 6 in Livingston to find a solution where the refrigerators are placed at a more back-friendly height, for easier operation.

This place is a joke. Their showers leak all over the floors, just flooding the bathroom. I have a panic attack about it. I called the front desk, and they told me they knew about it. Just put towels down. Looks like it's been this way for a while. Paint is just peeling of the walls. Very disappointing from coming all the way here from Texas. Was going to stay a week but only ended up staying two nights. I'm never going there again.

Great place to stay. Clean, new, friendly and helpful staff and pet friendly. For the price you can't beat it and your best choice in this area.Food & drinks: McDonald's and Taco Bell within walking distance, gas next door.

We stayed because of the reviews and limited (good) options in this area. While it was visibly very clean and check-in was smooth, plenty of parking, etc. It was very bare bones and had an immediate distinct odor. As soon as you walk in there's a uncomfortable smell and even stronger in the hallways. Like when you use dirty mops/cloths to clean things. Everything looked clean, it just smelled the whole time. For the price, you can make it work if needed but I would not stay here again.

Motel 6 Livingston had a misleading 4.2 rating, and I fell for it. This place deserves no more than a 1. The rooms are tiny with minimal furniture; there's barely any space to hang clothes. I found hair in the bed and on the floor. The outside of the hotel smells strongly of a poultry or pig farm.

The best Motel6 I’ve ever been to! The staff was super friendly, easy check-in process, super clean, large rooms, mini fridge, everything functioning properly and close by to many food/gas options. We came here after having to immediately leave a motel6 in Sacramento because of how horrible the conditions were, and this was such a welcomed contrast to that experience. Worth the extra hour drive on our journey to stay here! Highly recommend!

Just concurring with the great ratings. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Gentleman who checked me went above and beyond to give me the location I wanted. Lady in the morning was busy cleaning the common area and grabbed me a few things from the back room I needed. I'm a Hilton guy and this little Motel 6 was definitely comparable.

We have stayed at this motel many times over the last couple of years. We attend rabbit shows twice a year at the Merced fairgrounds. Staff has always been accomodating and rooms clean. We have always been allowed to take our bunnies in since they remain in their carriers. Always place a blanket on the floor that we bring along so the cages are not directly on the floor. Has never been an issue. I had a reservation for last night, May 5, 2023. Arrived to check in and was refused. Cats and dogs only. Just lost my business.

On my last day there, a stranger walked into my room with a key card he said he got from the front desk. I had just got dressed and was packing my bags so to say I was surprised would be an understatement. This man asked me a couple of questions about who I was with and left the room. When I confronted the lady at the front desk, who I assume is the owner since her kids were in the office, she nonchalantly stated the someone had given the stranger the wrong key. She offered no apology and acted like it was no big deal. It's unacceptable that something like this happened. A quick look in their system to see that the room was occupied should have prevented anything like this from happening. The rooms may be nice but if you have incompetent staff that don't take minimal steps to ensure safety, then nothing else matters. Again, she didn't seem too concerned about what could have happened so I am assuming this lack of awareness and customer service happens all the time. HOW CAN YOU TRUST THESE PEOPLE WILL BE LOOKING OUT FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY?!?!

This motel 6 is the best one in the area by far. It's very safe, clean, quiet and comfortable. They have a guest laundry room you can use 24 hours anytime and a working ice machine. The lobby has a microwave though the rooms don't. They also hav e coffee and hot tea always available. The staff are really friendly, helpful and professional. There are no bugs and no flies inside ever. The deposit is reasonable $60. There are a lot of restaurants right by it also.

Good rooms, bathroom and service; modern structure in the middle of every fast food you can think of. Stayed here with 5 friends for 2 nights. Everything is ok but (you can tell from the other reviews too) what really sells this place is the receptionist: she is professional, kind and sweet.

The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star rating is that when I booked this room on the Motel 6 website, I requested the first floor in their special request section, because I was traveling with my 2 dogs.. When I arrived they gave the last first floor room to a couple that checked in just before me, who did not have a reservation. I was given a room on the 3rd floor at the far end of the hall, away from the elevator. I asked the reception person about this and she apologized, but there were no more rooms on the first floor. I mentioned that I had requested first floor on my reservation. She showed me all the info she had about my reservation and there was nothing about a first floor room. It was inconvenient having a third floor room, but manageable. Overall, I was very impressed with this Motel 6 and I highly recommend it. It was very clean and the furnishings are newer. The rooms are small and efficient. There is even a small refrigerator in the room. Because I travel with my pets, I frequently stay at Motel 6. This is the nicest one I've ever been to. I appreciate that Motel 6 accepts pets without an extra charge. I do suggest that if you book a room and have a special request, you should call them directly to let them know. Overall the staff was very friendly and professional.

It's a brand new hotel only 2 months cold right now and this is my second visit. It's all indoor security building the rooms are rather small but the beds are very comfortable nice bathrooms flat screen TV and awesome air conditioning system. Although I have extended my stay twice this visit and I prepay it online and for some reason it takes a couple of hours for the reservation to go through to the front desk. I'm not sure why because this never happens to me when I book a room at any other Hotel. Employees have always been very courteous and attentive to my needs but today the front desk clerk came knocking on my door with another employee standing next to her and was very rude because she didn't think I had had extended my stay and prepaid it online. She held me up at the front desk for over an hour and it was rather disheartening and very inconvenient! She shouldn't have been so rude because as I was taught the customer is always right. I was always excellent when it comes to customer service and I have also worked at a very busy airport hotel in the past and I would never have approached a paying customer as I was approached today. Regardless of this inconvenience today I would still recommend this hotel and I might even possibly return to this location some time in the future. in addition the website claims that they have a outdoor swimming pool but they do not have one at all! Which is very misleading because we currently have extremely hot weather. it also claims they have a refrigerator and microwave in every room although there are no microwaves in the rooms only one in the lobby which is inconvenient because I'm at the opposite end of the hotel and to have a microwave in the room with a fridge so you can heat up your food whenever you please in the comfort of your room would be a better choice. They need to correct this Miss information on their websites and on five or six different travel agent websites.

Doorways are on the interior, which is nice. The building is clean and looks to have been renovated fairly recently. The room was a bit cramped, definitely would have been difficult to fit more than me and my wife comfortably, despite two queen beds. Easy access from the freeway. One side of the building faces the freeway, but I didn't notice much highway noise when my window was closed. Plenty of parking. Several food choices in walking distance. The front desk clerk wasn't particularly friendly, but she wasn't rude, either. Check-in only took a few minutes.

I had a great stay at the hotel. Although amenities are rather basic, the place is perfect for a short stay. Smaller rooms than I’m accustomed to, however they are well designed and set up so to be quite efficient. The bed was very comfortable and both the room and bathroom were extremely clean. Also, eliminating a carpet gives the room a sleek, clean feel.
