Americano is one of my favorite restaurants in Livermore! Delicious food, friendly staff, quick service and they have a dog-friendly patio as well. I have tried 6 of the 20 sandwiches in their menu, and enjoyed them all - Americano, Skinny Chick, The Breakup, Friday I'm in Love, Mr.Fred and King Kong. And occasionally, I get a $5 discount code from their Square account. It's one of my go-to places when I crave for wholesome sandwiches.Parking: Americano is located in the Peppertree Plaza Shopping Center, so there is plenty of parking available for free.

Stopped in for dinner Sunday with family after hearing good things about this restaurant. We enjoyed the outdoor patio on such a nice, spring day. A family member is vegetarian, so he didn't have difficulty ordering, but another family member and I are vegan, so we had trouble finding anything to order. We should've checked the menu before heading there as we wrongly assumed there would be vegan fare available. All of the entrees are heavy on meat and cheese. So are the salads. We did find one salad that was basically a garden salad with lettuce, tomatoes, etc., but it was discouraging to not have any other options. It was fresh, but very basic. Servers were very polite and friendly, but we had some difficulty explaining what we wanted. Free parking available on site. They're closed Mondays, otherwise open the rest of the week.

We were traveling in California. I stumbled across Americano as a place I wanted to visit. I wasn't sure that we were going to make it in time before they closed - they do close a bit early in my opinion, but luckily we made it. It was busy, so service was a little slow.What we got:Chicken Tetrazzini - It was good (not great), nice and cheesy, but I felt like the sauce could have been more flavorful and thicker.Americano - fantastic flavorful sandwich. This was the win out of our two orders. Sandwiches, while expensive, are worth their value.I'd recommend Americano if you were in the area, but not a place I'd go out of the way for.

First time at Americano. The restaurant was busy and there was only seating outside. It’ was really cold but we managed outside. The inside of the restaurant is very small and stuffy.The food was excellent the pasta and Garlic fries were deliciousMaria was our server, she was so busy and pretty much working alone. She tried so hard to provide us great service. She was very sweet and thought-full. I would definitely come back because it wasn’t her fault she was so busy and we had to wait a really long time. Maria, thank you for being outstanding and working so hard.

My only complaint is its a little pricey but it's completely worth it. I just ordered delivery and asked them to leave it at my door because I have 2 crazy dogs and they threw in a couple pieces of bacon labeled "for the pups". That was very nice of them and I'm forever grateful. Best sandwiches/Italian food in the bay area and it's not even close. Service is somehow even better. 15/10 would recommend

I've been getting take-out sandwiches - they feed us each for 2 meals! - so I can't comment too much on service and atmosphere. The choices are many, some classics and some novel, but always generous portions.We're looking forward to sitting down in the restaurant soon. Some of the menu choices I'm imagining will be better delivered immediately from the kitchen.

if you're coming, come hungry or stay home! The food is fantastic and large servings. My husband ordered the southern Bell, fantastic, and I'm not even a sandwich person. I ordered the tetrazzini which was a huge portion and super delicious and cheesy. The tiramisu was fantastic- it is very creamy and fresh you could really taste the ladyfingers- And not too much coffee flavor. Fantastic we will definitely be back. We were fortunate to meet the owners son Kevin, who is very interesting and a great host. We like eating local, and appreciate how they give back to the community. S

My first time eating here and my last. I was ignored for a few minutes when I arrived. I sat down and saw a very expensive menu but I was on a time limit and very hungry.. I ordered a meatball sandwich, fries and a drink. The fries were so salty I had to brush them off at every bite. Finally my sandwich came. The bottom was soggy, almost no sauce and there were 4 tiny meatballs on a Huge bun with enough cheese to fill a bucket. Absolutely no flavor or seasoning and the meatballs tasted like they were frozen. I managed to eat a quarter of the sandwich. I saw good reviews. They must have been drunk. And it cost over $30.

Just coming back from Cragler's Mill out by Kricksburg when Eightball Eddie called and said he's at the Americano Deli and forgot his wallet, so I told him ...just don't order anything, and you'll be okay.Well, being the brain surgeon he is, he not only ordered lunch but he took a bite out of it while he was calling me. It's a good thing I was near by to save his sorrybutt. The Americano deli is the best deli in Livermore...just ask Eightball Eddie. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

The Californian sandwich was so good I was halfway through eating it before I thought to take a picture. I wish the secret godfather sauce wasn’t a secret….so delicious!! I also had the tetrazzini (their take on a fettuccini Alfredo) which was amazing! Rich with flavor, but not overpowering. Everything came out quickly and HOT, you can tell they take the time to make every meal to order. I will definitely be back for the authentic food and truly inviting atmosphere! Thanks Americano!!!

A little place with a lot of heart and soul. The menu has sandwiches and other American Italian classics, and what's there is very tasty and good sized. It's a family run restaurant and it shows, with the pride they take in their whole operation. You could find other places that cost less, but once you factor their portion size and the quality of ingredients you realize what a bargain it truly is.

I eat sandwiches from Americano once a week. I keep coming back because the staff makes a meaty unit and wraps it tightly creating a juicy and deeply satisfying sandwich in my mouth.Because of this great staff, excellent ingredients, and soft buns, you should get one of these units in your mouth too.

So, there are few places that are so good that I've eaten there three times in the first week that I've tried them. This is one of those places. We heard from some friends that we lucky to live in Livermore because we can get "the best sandwiches" at Americano. Wait , what, where is this place? We decided to try some take out sandwiches when some relatives were in town we all thought they were delicious. Since they I've picked up take out twice since then. The workers there are super nice and very helpful. They have a cute dining room and more seating outside. There also seems to be a constant stream of takeout pickups that they are calmly efficient with. I've tried 3 different sandwiches so far and they have all been super good (Californian, Southern belle, and Just Joshing). I can't wait to try the rest and actually have a sit down Italian meal there too.

Great Italian food…it’s the real deal. Luv many of the sandwiches too (yaas Man , chicken parm ,& the meatball) Nice employees. Not a fancy atmosphere but that’s ok !Parking: Lots of parking , freeKid-friendliness: Nice servers .
