I needed pet supplies today for our 2 cats and 2 dogs. I was so glad to find all those items in The Animal House Pet Shop, particularly the pet beds for my recovering cat that had surgery recently. Another item I was so happy about is the food dispenser that I couldn't find from other pet stores nor Amazon. I also got a sack of Pine Litter and a bag of Dental Sticks. The employees were knowledgeable and helpful. I'll surely come back into this pet store. It's also nice to support local business.

I discovered this little gem in downtown Lemoore. What an amazing pet shop. All kinds of treats and animals, everything you need for your furry (or feathered) family members. Worth stopping at or going the extra distance to visit this cool store.

We got our pet rat here years ago. She was sweet and healthy. Our dog Hank, who just passed away at 11yrs old was also purchased here. Super sweet, healthy and active rat terrier beagle mix. Recently came here with my boys to check out the animals. The young girl at the counter was friendly, the older guy that may be the owner was a sweetheart and gave my boys candy for them and some energy bars for the dogs at home. Love this pet store!

They are very knowledgeable and have always been helpful with my needs. They have everything you need for any type of pet whether it's cat food, guinea pig treats or special shampoos for itchy dogs. It's nice to have something right here in town.

I often come here just to visit with Bozo, the 20+ year old bird & to see what's new. I have been very fortunate to have a local pet store in our town. I was gifted two beautiful chinchillas & the owner was able to get in the items I was looking for instead of paying online. I even come here to just relax and just be around the animals. It's a mom and pops kind of town & it's awesome to personally know the business owner and their employees

This is the place where I can buy my crickets for Spotify, my gecko lizard! The crickets just seem more lively and jump high than other crickets out there. Heck they could jump so high, they escaped their home container.

Had a great experience here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish I knew about this place sooner! They have a bunch of fish supplies and other animal supplies. They have good water that can be used for your fish tank. They use a reverse osmosis process that helps rid the water of nitrates that are found in lemoore tap water. Definitely would recommend this spot. I’m looking forward to going back!

They test your fish tank water at no charge and make suggestions. The employees here are very knowledgeable, they offer many remedies for the same problem and you cam do what works for you and your fish.

The owners and employees are so nice!! They are so knowledgeable and really love their pets!! I got a ton of great bird toys on clearance for my conure! He loves them! They have an amazing selection for ALL pretty types! As a bird owner, I'm always on the lookout for a great bird store and I have definitely found one!

we buy live pinky mice for our hognose snake here.. the only place that offers them. the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable about caring about animals... and one of the staff member printed me out a guide to care for our hognose and highlighted the important parts! really went out of her way to provide top notch customer service

I just want to thank the young lady Bailey for helping me solve my problem! They didn't have the kind of dog food that I needed for my pup so Bailey was kind enough to place an order for the right kind! She was super kind and showed great customer service skills! Gary owns Animal House I have known him since high school that store carry's just about anything you need for just about any kind of animal, birds, reptiles, fish you name it. Check him out first before the other stores.

Staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! They even remember what dog foods we have tried for my pup with a sensitive stomach and offer to order the one that works every time we stop by. My husband also gets all of our pond needs here as well! Love the owner and all of his staff!!!!!!

I don’t want to write this review. They have really good prices on crickets and I have been buying them weekly. They also have a fantastic selection of fish, reptiles, and even some invertebrates. Had I been writing this two weeks ago, I would have given a full five stars. This is not the case anymore. On my last cricket trip, I had taken the liberty to look at all of the reptiles. I watched the employee place a bearded dragon into a tank with another much smaller beardie( if you arn’t familiar you never put together because beardies are SUPER territorial and will fight) and the very predictable fight ensued. The larger bearded mopped the floor with the smaller one, and drew blood. Just biting the back of its neck and dragging it around. The smaller one tried to escape but there was nowhere for it too go. Of course I went to go get an employee while my husband stayed and watched. I got the employees attention and told them what was going on, to which they shrugged and replied “ there’s nothing I can do”. sir! your store is fully stocked with reptiles equipment, dog crates, all kinds of container. ANYTHING but that. I do believe that the situation was later remedied, but it was just such gross negligence/ bordering on abuse. Like I said, I really liked this store. I try and support small businesses whenever I can. I know the impact that reviews like this can have, and Im not writing this lightly. But I don’t think I can support this store anymore after what I saw and the reaction.

Super friendly and knowledge staff. Reasonably priced stock, and one of the few saltwater aquarium providers in the area. They can order specific fish as well, upon request. I definitely recommend this place! Support your local pet store!!

Best place in town for pet supplies. We've been many times. Both guys we talked to about jump-starting our fish tank we're very knowledgeable and extra helpful. The building is bigger than you expect, we didn't discover the back until we had already been several times.

My kids and I come here on a weekly basis. It’s like a mini zoo to them. They have lizards, turtles, budgies, cockatiels (most of the time), love birds, tarantulas, bunnies...I’ve even seen a scorpion! The staff is super friendly, they have my dogs favorite treats, and always make us feel welcome.

Animal House is a great place to shop for pets and supplies (their selection is extremely impressive) and the staff is normally fairly knowledgeable about the animals they sell. However, they are misinformed about the freshwater crabs they carry and the two I purchased from them nearly died because of it. A few of their fish are also labeled incorrectly; I recall an aggressive species being touted as friendly.I'm also not fond of their no-return policy; I'd purchased the wrong size filter for my tank and returned not even five minutes later and wasn't given so much as store credit. The only sign that states they have a no-return policy isn't placed in an area that is clearly visible, so you can imagine my disappointment with them.Overall, it's a great shop, but be very careful with your purchases.
