Great little stop over park. Very clean and well kept. Managers are welcoming and helpful. Nicely spaced sites with mature trees. There is road noise. We we're there on the first open day after winter. Seems like a great little town when the other businesses come out of hibernation. In the meantime, the Tufas are well worth a look and most views from the highway are spectacular. And the office has a wide range of videos to borrow. Would definitely stay again.

No reservations to be made. $45 per night. Stayed here because it was close to the east side entrance of Yosemite National Park. Connections(water and 50 amp) were in the mid of the pull thru so we pulled all the way to the front of the site and parked the truck behind the trailer. Rock sites. Beautiful park views. Some of the washers and dryers in the park only took your money and didn't work.

Exceptional staff and gorgeous location. It is clear that the team here works very hard at maintaining the beauty and serene atmosphere of this park.Barbara, in particular, made this a home away from home for me. She was so warm and helpful! Thank you, Barbara!There are bears in this area so, just be bear aware and follow the park rules and you'll be fine.

A smallish park set in a copse of large deciduous trees with sites of mixed sizes and gravel pads. Most sites have full hook ups with some water/electric sites and a tent area. The bathhouse is up to date, clean, and functional. The showers require an included token for 5 minutes. There is a laundry.

Reservation system does not work well. We notified them multiple times that we would be driving in from out of state and arrive after 5pm. They did not answer their phone once despite many calls during business hours. They did not respond to voicemails. Email response was okay but they did not clarify how to pay when I asked about payment and just sent a confirmation. We arrived as planned after 5 and the campground had no sites available for us and no envelope with our name. Not a fun situation to be in when it’s getting dark, you’ve driven 9 hours thinking you had a reservation, and you have a newborn and a three year old. Not impressed.

Nice, well maintained RV park with views of the lake and mountains. Have tent, water and power and full hookup sites. Grassy with lots of cottonwoods for shade. Clean, comfortable restrooms. Can walk into town for food and supplies. Will return. Note: If you stay during late spring, the cottonwoods will be dropping HUGE quantities of their fluffy seeds, like snowfall, blown into drifts and getting everywhere inside your RV and car. Very irritating to breathe into nose or mouth. This happens everywhere in the great basin where there are cottonwoods.Noteworthy details: This is an RV park, as the name says, not a hotel.

Great location.Lots of shade trees grass and a terrific view out across mono lake.Back in and pull thru sites.Some sites have cable but most do not.Great laundry roomRestrooms and showers.Easy walk to town and resturaunts.Also mono basin visitors is worth the visitAnd plenty of places to go fishing along 395.ThanksRALPH AND KATHY SOCAL

Don't stay here, especially if you are a dog lover. They hate dogs. I've never had such a bad experience with my dog. He is (was) a 10+ year old, very calm, and slow guy. I didn't have him on a leash because he could barely walk, though I had the leash in my hand. They ran up to me in a golf cart and threatened me with expulsion or worse. They hate their jobs, and it shows, find somewhere else to stay if you love your dog...

We have been going to mono vista for about 12 years now. Never had one problem EVER!!! Follow the rules, the very few that they have, it's pretty simple! Try any other place up 395 with full hook ups, their is no shade, twice the amount of rules at these facilities! Ur in town, beautiful grounds, beautiful views! If u don't follow the rules that's on u! There is a reason for rules. The leash rule is LAW!!! PERIOD!! Enjoy it! We do, and that's why we have kept going back for over 10 years!! Enjoy life, follow the rules and u will have no problems! Pretty simple!

Oh my goodness, this was such a lovely, restful place. Shady and cool. The staff were friendly and we had plenty of room. We are now looking forward to a return next year - perhaps a little later in the season so we can hit some of the National Park sites.

***IF YOU ARE TRAVELING SUMMER 2023, please read: This campground is right outside the side of Yosemite that is CURRENTLY CLOSED. You will have to drive 4.5 hrs each way to get into Yosemite!!! I only found out prior to our arrival because I was trying to plan something and saw it on Yosemite’s website.No one reached out from the RV park to let anyone know that- fair enough, but that is the only reason anyone stays here!When I called to cancel, I was told we are within our 2 week cancellation period and we will not be getting our deposit back. That is just asinine, you owe it to the people you are fooling to at least return their money when they realize the secret you’re keeping!What a disgusting way to run a business, if you’re considering staying here GO ELSEWHERE and don’t give these thieves any more money.

This is actually a very nice park. I did not use any of the facilities so I can't say anything about that, however, the staff is less than accommodating. We arrived early [11 am] because we wanted to have time to drive through yosemite. I was told we couldn't check in to noon and to go down to the visitors center and wait till noon. I returned at noon only to be told we had to wait till 1pm and she locked the office and went to clean the bathrooms. We just needed a site to park and they seemed perturbed that we arrived before "check in" time!

Very nice rv park. Convenient to Bodie and Yosemite. We would stay here again. Laundry room is really nice with good washers and dryers. Did not use showers but the bathrooms are very nice! Cable is a little weird as sometimes all the stations came in and sometimes one or 2 are missing. No wifi. But still a very nice rv campground!

My 2nd year to visit this RV campground. I may come back next year. It's walking distance to restaurants and other lodges. I love this place coz of the convenience of very clean restrooms, plenty of showers (they always gave me 2 complimentary shower tokens per no. of nights you stay), and they also have a laundry area. The landscape behind the tent sites are beautiful. They have a dog run as well. The dumping area is right in front of the office. I feel safe here and super quiet at night. The grassy areas and trash cans are very well maintained. They also have a group tent site.Did I mention the beautiful miracles that takes place here? See my photos.I highly recommend this place.

We spent four nights in a pull-thru FHU site. Barbara, in the office, was friendly & helpful. Easy walk into town from the park & it is in a good location to visit Mono Lake, Yosemite, Mammoth Lakes, & Bodie State Historic Park - lots to do & see in the area. Bathrooms & showers looked very clean. Some Highway noise, but it quieted at night.

It's fairly affordable ($33 for a tent site) for a place with showers and laundry. But that is was the only good thing. For showers you have to use tokens they give you, and they only give you 5 minute showers. The toilet stall doors are way to high off the ground. The go over the toilet seats so people could easily see in when you are using the toilet so very little privacy.The tent sites have very little shade. The staff didn't seem very friendly/nice, the staff seemed annoyed that they had people staying here. They were also constantly around. When I got there in the evening they kept driving around in carts emptying garbage or doing who knows what, then at like 9:00 am they started mowing. It just seemed like there was constant noise from staff using equipment

It's a great place to stay if your visiting Mono lake and surrounding area. Wifi signal is null unless you are connected to cable which is only in front rows close to street. No fires. Bathroom and hot shower till that token runs out! Get 2! Enjoy your stay it's Mono and always beautiful 😍

Great spot. Just 35 minutes from Tuolumne Meadows and right across from Mono Lake. There are also numerous other lakes in easy driving range. Like most private RV parks the sites are close together with little to block your view of your neighbor, but there is a nice green strip of grass between sites and some nice trees that provide great shade. Bathrooms and showers are well maintained and clean. I'll definitely be back and I rarely stay at private campgrounds.

Mono Vista staff are friendly and helpful. This park has a number of shade trees and sites of all different sizes for RVs as well as an area for tent campers. Trash cans are available at each site although when I was there a bear had been active so they requested not to put any trash out after 4:30 PM. I thought it was great that they wanted to minimize anything that would attract the bear. (I did not see any bear activity the night I stayed.)If you are touring the area this is a great base location to work from.

This review applies to the public showers here which I know are important to the PCT hikers and others. The amount of water that exits the shower head is almost nil. I’m all for low flow shower heads and water conservation but I can honestly say it was difficult to even get wet under that shower. Either stop offering the service or improve it. Right now it’s useless.

Nice place considering it's a private RV park. Clean, well maintained bathroom, showers and laundry room. One of the few places nearby to get a shower or do laundry. Sites are close together, as they are in most private RV parks, but green strips of grass and trees between sites help a lot. Hard to beat the combination of facilities and location. Only 35 minutes from Tuolumne Meadows, right across the highway from Mono Lake, and near a variety of other lakes.

Great park if you don't have dogs. They demanded dogs only relieve themselves on a certain patch of grass. Therefore we had to drive our dogs from our campsite to the dog park every morning and night to make sure the dogs wouldn't pee on the walk to the dog area. That rule also made it so all the dogs were crammed in one area, which can be annoying with aggressive dogs. Nice campsite but the dog rules were too much. We won't be returning.

Crazy thing here is that to get a shower, you have to use a token that you get from registering. You get 2, good for 5 minutes each. If you do late check in, no shower.

Very clean, bathrooms are impeccable, good location, but tent sites are SMALL! If you want socially distant camping, plan on booking two sites right next to each other (so that it makes up the size of a normal campsite). You will be pitching a tent and dining right next to your neighbor. They are two car-widths across and that’s it. Bring earplugs in case your neighbors snore or like to talk quietly in their tent.
