Busy place but worth the stop. Good selection of gifts. Good food as well, the tacos are great! For an amazing (FREE) view of Mono Lake go through to the back parking lot and follow a few hundred feet to the lookout. Beautiful!

There is nothing like this for miles in any direction from Lee Vining. The view of Mono Lake from this gas station is awesome. The food available here is really delicious. We tried their hotdog and baby back ribs. Both were really good. Restrooms were clean. Gift shop was reasonably priced. If you are headed into Yosemite, then this is the last stop before the entrance where you can fill up. Yosemite has only 1 gas station inside the park, so better to fill up here than taking any chances.

Family owned and operated. This is a great place to stock up on supplies before heading into the park. They have a great map section as well. Great sandwiches. Enjoy

Looks just like any gas station near the east entrance of a major national park but inside is a very good deli. Also inside are Yosemite souvenirs in case you do not get to go to the valley floor inside Yosemite as you drive through Tioga Pass.

Best gas station food in America and the view isn’t bad either. Had to laugh at a European lady on a bus tour to Yosemite complaining about the food. Really? It’s wonderful.

Seriously, finding this gas station made our day.Back in September my husband and I were traveling across the country and, while descending from Yosemite heading to our hotel in Death Valley, we suddenly realized our hotel was not receiving guests after 10pm, but we would not be able to arrive until midnight. Besides, we could not call to give them notice, as our phones did not work in the US and we had no Internet either, so we were in real trouble and almost thinking we'd have to sleep in our car.We stopped at Mobil to fill the tank and we told our story to the staff of the gas station. One cashier with short hair lent us her phone to try to call the place and arrange our late check in. And we could!!! If you read this, HUGE THANK YOU for helping us continue our trip.

Everyone kept telling us to get food here but they were closed. It was not the end of the world but the little store and the gift shop made it all worth the stop. It was not bad jut not amazing like everyone said it was going to be.

Beware of traveler's tax. Diesel is 8.09 a gallon. Only fueled up since I am a traveler and was on an off road/camping trip. At least a whole 1.25 more a gallon than anywhere else I fueled up from here to Los Angeles. The restrooms are clean, the gas pumps are nicely spaced out. There was a line at the deli so I think the food is good, I did not get any though. I think 16+ gallons of patronage was enough.

Who knew that a service station would have the best grub in town?! Great vibe, great views and great food. Had chilli and cornbread, filling and delicious. Tourists and locals clearly love the joint! Be sure to hit it up.

Very expensive petrol! The prices in June Lake and Mammoth Lakes are almost $1 less than this station! I won't accuse anyone, but it seems a bit weird this station has such good reviews while the stations in June Lake and Mammoth Lakes are bad. Pretty sure there is a reason for that.

It's a gas station. What more needs to be said? If you want more, the prices are high, due to its location. The view from the parking lot is wonderful. The mini-mart is an interesting mix of convenience store and gift shop. The real treasure here, however, is the Whoa Nellie Deli. I know, I know, it's just a gas station deli. How good can it possibly be, right? Well, it's awesome. Not cheap, but very, very awesome.

The restaurant is honestly one of the best places I've eaten. The food is amazing!

We've eaten at the Whoa Nelli Deli probably close to 50 times now over the years. It's an institution in the Eastern Sierras and one of the most scenic places to get a tasty meal. With Covid restrictions, they have well spaced outdoor seating that gets cleaned after each group is done.

If you need gas, food or rest room this is the place. They also have a good selection of merchandise if you missed the gift shop in Yosemite.Food are pricey and so is gas. If you can drive another 30 miles or 30 minutes on 395 at either direction you'll have more choices.

The staff was very friendly and kind. I pulled in after they were closed for fuel but the staff inside was kind enough to unlock the door and let me prepay for my fuel at the pump. I was very grateful, it's getting fuel anywhere else would have entailed me driving at least 30 minutes in one direction the wrong direction. I paid for my fuel, was able to use the restroom and then was able to hit the road. The convenience store looked clean and well-stocked, the staff was friendly and considering it was Lee Vining the fuel prices were not that bad. Yes, $3.99/gallon for regular is high compared to other areas, but considering the Chevron down the road (which was also closed) was $4.49/gallon for regular fuel that was a screaming bargain.

If you're headed up Tioga Pass into Yosemite, this is a great place to gas up, find souvenirs, and eat a super meal for a good price...(all those things are more expensive in Yosemite). If you have a pet, you can eat outside in one of many places with tables. After lunch, take a drive up to the nearby viewpoint to get a fantastic look at ALL of Mono Lake!

This has got to be the nicest gas station ever, with the best coffee, like, in the universe. It's so nice that you feel happy to pay the obscenely marked up price for fuel and eventually come to terms with the larcenous pricing of food and supplies in the store. But...there is grass for the dog, free well water, a great view and interesting people. I spent an entire day here going from one conversation to another and met some amazing people from all over the world. I got ramen to make for dinner and milk for coffee and a single cheese stick for my last seven dollars in cash. Will gladly be fleeced again next time I come through town.

Great pit stop! This store could use much better merchandising though, lots of missing things in general grocery, and tons of space (prohibitively) allocated to mediocre souvenirs. The food is alright, but it is wholesome! Prices are high, gas is outrageous.
