This is shelter is totally funded by donations and run by volunteers who are never compensated for their devoted time. It is clean, bright, and a no kill shelter. The volunteers are dedicated sweet people that are passionate about their time there. They do an outstanding service to our community.

I stopped in to see a litter of puppies. I'm looking for a companion for my 4-year old mini dachshund. I found Blossom, a heinz-16 sweet puppy girl. I'm going to Foster her to see if my dog will 'adopt' her. This neighborhood shelter is kept clean and full of love.

They were wonderful. Robin Sent me home with 2 beautiful Siamese brother and sister cats that she bottle fed until they were old enough for me to take home. Thank you Shelter on the Hill!

OMG! I adopted "Marco",who we renamed (he is now Buddy). Black cat 🐈‍⬛ with personality just beyond imagination. Hilarious, sweet, intelligent, mild-mannered..

We are so fortunate to have them.... instead of having an amazing animal running around loose and hungry. . They take them (if there's room) and LOVES them!! If it weren't for the shelter I would not have my lifesaving BEAN (dog) today!!.... The ppl working there are ALL VOLUNTEERS but they get paid with animal kisses and laughter.God bless each and every one.....

We just adopted a beautiful boxer mix we name rocky. He's a perfect addition to our family. We love him already. The staff are kind and give you all the time you need to get to know the animals.

I'm just facilities are clean and well-kept that's for sure the dogs are well taken care of there but you can't get your animal out of there if it's on a weekday or when they're closed and they are closed 95% of the time charged me 40 bucks my dog didn't eat and he's a little tiny thing and I was there the first day they had him couldn't get him out came tried to get him at second day couldn't get ahold of anybody until way late that that evening 5 Maybe and they charged me 40 bucks to get him out just saying I was there the first day and there was a lady there and she wouldn't let me get him and she left told me to call somebody else anyway to two days and they charged me

Only getting 2 stars because they are good drop.off for lost dogs and will return to owner. But dont think of adopting a dog from them. Itll cost you 100 bucks, they let you have the dog for a couple of days before they come on your property and take the dog back "because they dont like the yard you provide". They did this to another residence I know.Sorry I didnt put a tutu on the dog and paint its toe nails and shower it with 24 hours of attention. I'm not a older, single person with no job and actually have to go to work. The dog we adopted was supposed to be a emotional support dog for my son with Autism. After they illegally trespass on private property and "stole" my dog I've adopted, i dont want nothing to do with them. And on top of that, they also allowed my wife and i to worry for 2 days thinking the worse of the dog and when we called them, told us nothing about the dog being returned. Then I had to discovered an Advertisement on adopting the very same dog we just adopted. So good luck and I hope you treat the next family better.
