My cat Venus recently passed away on September 26, 2023. She was only 12 years old. She was my everything. She was my comfort companion. Lathrop Veterinary Center gave me this card in memory of her. I was deeply touched. Wonderful and very caring staff and doctors.

Such a great experience here from the start! My initial phone call expressing my dogs concern was met with empathy and kindness. When I brought in my dog, the staff was so welcoming, patient, and friendly. The facility is so clean. I am so happy I found them!

They require $67.00 to secure appointments for first time patients. However they answered the phones right away and was accommodating.

This past month we sadly had to have our senior Guinea Pig, Casper, put down at Lathrop Vet Center. The technicians went above and beyond to make our last moments with him as peaceful as possible. Since then they've continued to amaze us, we have received condolence cards in the mail, even a notification that a tree was planted in Casper's memory!! We have never been treated with such compassion and caring from a vet clinic to this extent before. They really deserve all the praise in the world here. Thank you so much for all that you do!! If you're thinking about bringing your animal here, you will be in good hands. They will treat your animal with honor and respect just like our good boy Casper.

The Nurses and receptionist there are amazing! Working hard and even with how difficult it is to probably find more support staff. These girls work hard everyday and are the back bone of this clinic. I don't understand how people can say is about the money? They don't make the prices and the money does not go to them. People should be more kind to their vet staff since they are under a lot of stress.

This place is a rip off. Could only get an appointment for two weeks away unless I paid an emergency fee. Scheduled surgery (another three week wait) after expensive blood work. The day of the surgery they surprised me with an estimate that was two and a half times the original estimate and another delay on the surgery. Do not bring your pet here.

I would have scored zero if I could. Been going here for many years. Basic pet services. Needed them to kindly just authorize my 12 1/2 year old dog recurring pet meds prescription. They literally waited all day therefore i was unable to get her meds in a timely manner. I assumed they love pets but their lack of empathy shows different. I did put i complaint against them. I took my dog to new vet but still was going to get my guinea pig nails just clipped there. Office manager came on phone all upset I filled complaint. My dog ended up needing her spleen removed by another vet and LATHROP VETERINARY would have never diagnosed it. I always felt like they were used car salesman. Just in it for a few bucks…sad. I recommend you don’t go there!

Their end of life care is very low cost. They were all very sweet and patient. I took my hedgehog in so they also deal with exotics! I'm very happy I came here

Masks are required, and I had to wait in the car while they treated my kitten. I got a call from the vet to discuss a treatment plan. I got another call to pay for the service and then was allowed to come in to pick him up. The whole process was very coordinated and quick. The staff was very pleasant to work with.

Ridiculous to have to wait a month for an appointment. Also ridiculous to expect us to wait a month for an urgent pet need. Find another vet in the area as they have been pushing out their appointments for MONTHS now. They have zero sympathy to see our pet when we have an urgent need. This used to be the best vet in the area and they quickly dropped to the bottom of the heap. Interested more in charging a lot for services and making you come back multiple times for unneeded follow ups. No wonder they have such a long queue for appointments. Just one mans opinion.

Let me start off with thanking the team on getting my dog Smokey in on an emergency visit. They were able to treat him as soon as we arrived and kept him overnight. We were given the choice to continue his treatment at home or take him to the hospital. Well trained team front front office to assistants and doctor. Unfortunately our dog did not make it, but lathrop vet were very caring and sympathetic. They gave us our cremation options and called as soon as his ashes were ready to be picked up. I just want to say thank you for the sympathy card and planting a tree in memory of Smokey. Your team is the best.

People are nice and friendly, but if it's an emergency they can't take you there. They are booked most of the time. The earliest they can see you is in 2 or 3 weeks.
