I love this market, I like there daily fresh cut fruits, flowers, etc. There customer service is great, but lately I have seen many dogs in the market, and they are not precisely dogs for people with disabilities. My kids have allergies to dogs, and the dogs are there smelling everything. I Have pets myself and I don't take them to the market!,

They got everything I need to buy for Christmas. Starbucks got long line so get there earlier. Got me some mashed potatoes to go with ham. A few of the employees are helpful and friendly. Sometimes I see suspicious tall guys go into the store looking to take advantage of me. I won't let them because I'm smart. The store has wde variety of meat, fish, veggies, and sweets in the bakery. Easy for me to find everything without asking. Prices are higher, makes sense in LA county.

Recently purchased hydrangeas from them for my mom's birthday. They died 2 days later. Went today to get replacements and the florist Barbara helped me with everything. She was such an amazing employee. Knowledgeable, patient, gave great recommendations. She made everything not only right, she exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend her! Beautifully and skillfully crafted a new arrangement for my Mom. I'm delighted to bring this to my Mom and am very grateful for Barbara's help. Thank you very much! Happy holidays 🎄

Pricey but its nice to know they always have a huge selection of everything and the dates aren't gonna be bad on items. The app makes a big discount difference in my shopping bill as well it just takes some time to get setup and clip the coupons and add them to your list everytime you go shopping but its worth it in the end. I just don't always like the attitudes of the employees here; some of them can be very rude; some need to work on customer service skills as well patience for customer inquiry's. Condescendingly addressing a customer is very unprofessional. “Fails to coincide with the, customer is always right”

I went to Vons in Lancaster, CA address: 4033 Ave L. The Deli was awful. I wanted a sandwich and the lovely lady Eva assisted us. There were no meats, bread, lettuce or dressings available. Whomever, decided to change the Deli to that despicable display should be fired. We started to walk out. But the clerk Eva was so professional that she encouraged us to stay and she will make a way to provide us with the best sandwiches. Eva went above and beyond her duty to make what was terrible wrong right. I had Eva take pictures to have proof. This Deli at Vons in Lancaster was shameful. I will not be back unless Eva waits on me. She was so kind and helpful in this bad situation. Please close down this Deli or make it a true Deli.

Received an ad in the paper saying 3oz lobster tails were in sale for $5.99 per lb. I went in today and was told it was a misprint and they're actually $5.99 ea! They wouldn't honor the ad and just kept asking if I wanted to see the corrected ad. Thought that was false advertising because I specifically went in for that advertised deal! Very disappointing that no one would honor it!!!

I do ALL my produce shopping at this Von's location. The fruit & veggies are always fresh & well stocked. They also last in the 'fridge more than just a couple days, meaning it is actually fresh. I've stopped buying at other stores for this reason. Then there's Von's staff. They are great! I feel like Norm from Cheers. They may not know my name, but they always recognize me & ask how I am, if I need anything from upper shelves, of course they are readily available to help. Management is always right in there with clerks, bagging, stocking, providing customer service... Normally I don't like food shopping, but always enjoy going to this store.

Vons is a hit / miss type spot for me. Randomly needed some Diet Dr pepper. They were sold out. Also needed a disposable table cloth (agreed, not totally expecting it) but they had 2 color options.It is still our daily go to for items Costco doesn't have or we need a smaller amount.Staff is friendly for the most part

I used to love this Vons but I hear it is under new management? Who ever is managing this location is running it into the ground. I no longer see friendly familiar faces.Deli staff is rude & loud. I witnessed a Deli clerk get into a screaming match with a customer and it was absolutely unprofessional. The Deli cases were dirty, disorganized, food items look gross, the floor is dirty and by the sushi, salad case between meat/cheese case floor is slippery and greasy. I found several out of code items on the shelf. I would not trust eating anything from this Deli.I also used to love the bakery but I noticed they have changed many products, discontinued many breads and the prices have gone up for less product, cookies have less in bag and cost more? rolls have less in bag and cost more? bagels have less in bag and cost more? I will say the cake decorators do a good job but all the cake prices have gone up.I only go to this bakery because they are one of the few bakeries in town that offers real whipcream but I noticed that they changed the custard recipe and started using faux whipcream in many of their case items. Anyway, this used to be my preferred stores but not anymore. Customer service is terrible and over all store cleanliness has gone downhill. This location needs a remodel and over haul of management.

Our local Vons is a great store. They have a great produce department, and many items are on sale or Manager's specials throughout the store.The employees are helpful, and the store is easy to shop.I typically spend less than a half hour shopping, which is convenient.

Parking lot is always clean and spots are plenty. Store is organized and well stocked. Check out was friendly and efficient, considering I was there 3 days before Xmas.

it has a wonderful personal service type bakery and deli section that is great for quick pick up hot dinners sliced sandwich meats and cheeses. soups salads and chili avail. too. on the pricey side to be sure but not bad you get what you pay for. no the rest of the store while having a very clean store is still way to expensive for the middle class to lower end middle class that surrounds the store in various neighborhoods. this isn't way up west end where they like to think of themselves as upper scale. that's another story. so good selection bakery is far better than most. deli has my vote for best sandwich meats cold cuts cheeses, soups. but from there on it's up to you if you want toake believe you. live in Brentwood, Westwood or any number of above your means locales... then this is the place for you to shop.. milk 2.00 more a gal. dairy items off the chart expensive. yogurts premium brands a dollar more per item easily and so goes the rest of the store . a westside waste of money overall . just good for specific shopping.

My go to store if I need to make a quick grocery run... For a large chain grocery store, Von's on Ave L has the atmosphere of an old 'Mom/Pop grocery store.' The staff are friendly & very helpful. It's nice to see the management rolling up their sleeves & working alongside their employees. Even in these times of COVID, social distancing and such, you can still make a quick run to the store at this location. Employees are efficient & great at their jobs. I rarely go anywhere else.

Went in there just to pick up something from the Deli counter and was met with a woman named Eva. I went in just to pick up some apple smoked honey ham but she offered another option, ham off the bone. Man alive when I took a quick smell from that flavored ham and I was sold. Very friendly lady and would Def ask her opinion in regards to the meats and cheeses under the glass. Will be heading back over for sure!

Store is always clean, well kept and well stocked. Love their floral, produce, meat and bakery departments.Best time of day to shop is the morning. The parking lot gets kind of crazy just after lunch.

My favorite supermarket. Jay the cashier is always pleasant and helpful, pretty much all of them are. Great customer service, great offers and excellent selection of products. Conveniently located near banks, fast food, and a gas station. The parking is usually easy. This is a typical Vons and has the same items and amenities that many others do. Would recommend.

Always well stocked and people friendly and helpful. I went there for sale items and realized that the weekly ad I get in the mail had a Friday only sale. I will pay more attention next time we're looking for items on sale at Von's.
