When it comes to inventory, I was very impressed. I truly did not expect them to have the exact breed of hamster we were seeking to purchase for my daughters first pet. We found everything with in 5 min of being there. The next 20 min we spent waiting for assistance. I found the supervisor/ lead and requested assistance with my daughter selecting her hamster. She was rude and completely brushed me off, explaining that a somepoint she would get me assistance but they are busy. As if I was supposed to have been aware of this and not have even asked for such a thing. Any other situation like any typical parent I would have walked out, but the things we so to keep our little one's happy. I decided to take all the accessories up to the counter to purchase, and then request assistance. As I was purchasing the stuff the manager was at the register behind us unopened sorting through... what ever looking busy. When I mention that I also had a hamster I need to pay for prior, I was told that I had to fill out paperwork prior so I would have to wait. I told her that the manager behind her said she would sent assistance and never did. As the supervisor tried to pretend not to over hear the conversation. I told them I would go and wait again after spending another 15 min in line. Everyone was very helpful excluding the manager that was to occupied to let me know I need to fill out paper work when I first inquired about purchasing the thing. This shouldn't been a hour and half purchase. Wrong person the be supervising the store.

In the fish department, there are these shrimps called Ghost Shrimps, however; upon further research, I’ve found out that big chain stores do not get “true” Ghost Shrimp, instead, a variety that look similar to them, and some are deadly to your fish. I asked a worker in the area how these shrimps would do in my tank, and they said it would be perfectly fine, however, I get home and my fish is completely mauled to death. If you’re going to sell something labeled as that product, please ensure that it’s correct. I unfortunately had to learn the hard way, and online reviews about the “Ghost Shrimp” also agree that they’re not what PetSmart claims them to be.

I want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Lisa. She did an AMAZING job on my fur baby Brady today. It was his first professional groom and she left me and my son speechless and so full of joy. I went in to pick up a beta and there were several of them that were dead in their little cups, so the options weren't that great when it came to a selection.. Someone needs to remove all the dead fish and replace them. So that it doesn't look like they're neglecting the poor little fishes. The fish that I purchased had pretty dirty water. Also, see attached pic.

The staff at petsmart never disappoint. We have a lot of pets and frequent 2 locations near by. We have never gone in and not gotten what we needed, unless it was a specialty aquatic animal, but thats to be expected. In all other instances I've been very pleased with the quality of their products, their service, and over all cleanliness of the store.None of the fish we have purchased there have been sick. ALL of them have been in good health and are still swimming around, living their best lives!Feel confident going here to get your pet supplies. They have almost everything and its worth it!

I love their selection of cat and dog food. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you rescue an animal from the shelter, Petsmart will give you a book full of coupons from treats to food to beds and more, but you have to take in your shelter paperwork.

Had a couple small issues with the pet spa. Quoted us $26 over the phone for a dog appointment (cleaning, and nail trim) but ended up charging $39 which isn't too big of an issue but still a little frustrating. She was cleaned and groomed very well, but her nails are still very sharp and her pads and EXTREMELY rough. They definitely didn't do a great job on that front. I wouldn't recommend it for more then just a simple cleaning but the staff was at least friendly.

Never have I had an issue with Petsmart grooming and express service. Petsmart grooming calls the day of to tell me they are canceling do to issues with the express service. Petsmart has NEVER called and before it's open! Sounds like an issue of laziness and working before the holiday! TERRIBLE, NEVER AGAIN!

Helpful people, and they had a huge bed for the pets- on sale. I I’ve that they allow pets in to shop. So very helpful as I could then tell the bed was big enough!

If you need it, PetSmart has it. For your pet, of course! Please know due to new laws, all pet stores no longer carry medicines for your pets, be it antibiotics or topical. Even online, you will need a veterinarian's prescription.But, PetSmart has EVERYTHING else, and I do mean, for EVERY pet you could own. Plus, they have pets for sale: birds, lizards, well, I can't list them all. Enjoy a trip to this wonderful place. You won't be disappointed!

Went to purchase fish for my 10 gallon. The employee who helped me was very kind and exceptionally great at bagging the fish I requested. Purchased a beautiful female Betta, snails, ghost shrimp and live plants.

Had the most amazing visit to petsmart... Had an awesome knowledgeable guy (with atrocious handwriting 🤣) help me in the dish department. He helped me pick out two perfect plants for my tank that are thriving. (Yes one of them comes attached to a rock and is actually displayed in the tanks in store, he brought it out so I could feel the leaves, very cool) He also picked out the 2 guppies and 4 neon tetras that are doing fabulous.

A lot of variety of fish and other animals for sale. I'm sure it changes depending on availability. Didn't see any dogs. Was alright. Couple of the sea snails were dead in the store, so I didn't get any...

Petsmart is the only place that I can get the right food for my boys. They have good sales on the food sometimes but, all other accessories are too expensive. The staff is very nice. I love their charity work at Christmas time. You can purchase a stuffed animal for children at the local hospital for $5.00. I only make a purchase of dog food and treats once a month.

Though there wasn't much of a selection for extra small dogs and the prices seemed a little high, I found an employee, Bailey, that was ultra helpful without making me feel like I was being pressured to buy, buy, buy.I have since returned monthly (4 times) to the Pets Mart on Valley Central Way and have found the sales associates and cashiers EXTREMELY helpful, friendly and knowledgeable every visit.Last month this store was out of the puppy food I buy and without even asking, the sales associate called the Palmdale store to reserve a bag for me.

We recently started taking our dog Zeus to beginner obedience training here and I’ll tell you what, Cathy knows what she is doing. Always patient and easy to follow. She’s very nice and very flexible. Highly recommend bring your dog to their 6 week course. Very good price point for the amount learned.

First off, I would just like to say that the food was delicious! The hamster was amazing quality and nice and alive. Although it was dry, the tenderness did make up for it. It went down my throat pretty easy. The employees tried to kick me out of the store though! I didn't know why, but for some reason, I was craving more... So while nobody was looking, I ate two more, and I didn't even have to pay for them! 9/10 experience overall.

I really like this Petsmart store. They have just about everything I need, and I also really like the pet grooming salon they have. I took my German Shepherd to them four times so far, and I've been very pleased with their service. The only thing that I'd like to see, is a pet scale so we can weigh our pets.

Lots of Live Pet Fish to choose from. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of cool Aquariums & accessories. Supplies for cats, dogs, birds, etc are here too. I will buy the bigger aquarium with the stand this year! Lots of Parking.
