What a great spot! Super friendly and have an amazing selection of high quality not easy to come by fish at great prices. I came here in the past but not under same ownership, but now WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! So much better and I love how the tanks are seasoned and fish seem to thrive in the natural ecosystem. My go to place for rare and exotic fish. Be back soon, can't wait

Very good experience, lots of beautiful fishes and all you need to dress your fish tank. Besides is personally attended by the owners with suggestions and a calm environment watching the fishes swimming. We, daughter and me.My daughter has a question for the owners…next time soon she will go.

Went in search of a healthy new Betta since the Betta selection at Petco was horrible (sick and dying in dirty water - so sad) . nautilus had an abundance of beautifully clear tanks full of active, happy looking fish. I didn't get one of the showstopping male Bettas that I specifically went for since the $50 price tag was not in my budget so I settled on a baby female who shimmers like an Opal and who only cost $4. If I had a bigger tank I would have gotten a group of them to make a sorority. If I do upgrade my tank I'll be sure to go back.

Great store with a good healthy selection of fish. The only downside is that it’s a little far of a drive from my house. I’ve read complaints about them having algae in their tanks, don’t remember if that was on here, yelp, or Facebook, and it made me laugh. Experienced fish keepers would know that algae is harmless and does not indicate health issues in an aquarium whatsoever. Pleasant to look at ? No. But is it harmful ? Definitely not. I let algae grow in my tanks (on the back/sides, not the front glass) because I don’t mind it and it doesn’t hurt anything. Makes the tank look more natural too. Their fish are healthy and that’s what matters the most.

William has been super supportive and shares about what he has in stock every time. His fishes and plants there look extremely healthy. He has a good variety of fishes, plants and some good beginners friendly tanks that should definitely be looked into. He's been super helpful and gives tips. For local fish stores, this one is the best to come to around the area.

Came in quite often always buying a variety of fish, until one day I had problems with a fish when I got it home so I came back and let them know and was told that there was nothing they could do. So I got in contact with thee owner and he said he would contact me as soon as they could figure everything out and that was half a year ago. Amazing how much I spent with them but as soon as I needed something they switched their tone real quick

I’m a fish Addict … the owner of this place is amazing patient and loves what he dose.All the stock is health the tanks are maintained well and the owner is very knowledgeable about the fish he sells. The hour drive we made to go here well more then worth it.I visited this store prior to the current owner taking over and he has done an amazing job renovating the place

I can’t say enough about my experience with Nautilus. My order of 4 Panda Loaches was the best fish purchase I’ve ever had. The communication through email was quick and informative along with the transaction being easy. The shipment happened exactly when they said it would and all of them arrived healthy and alive. *RECENT EDIT: APRIL 25TH 2021*On my most recent visit to this store, I've been somewhat disappointed in the maintenance of their tanks. Ive seen a couple of dead corydoras and I've actually bought a few from them days before my most recent visit. So far, they're doing okay. Also, customer service had been somewhat down lately. The owner William himself is still friendly and always willing to help out but the store seems to be down to just him and a single employee who isn't very knowledgeable and doesnt have the best customer service. He needs to hire additional staff who have the knowledge and able to speak with customers and be more helpful and friendly. His former employee Josh was exceptional but had unfortunately left to finish schooling I've heard. While he was working there, the store was almost spotless and they really kept up with maintenance. This store is ever expanding with a new bird/reptile section coming. Someone made a review mentioning a limited amount of live corals and saltwater in general, but forget this store is a work in progress. William had only recently taken over the business about a year ago from the previous owner. In time, this place is gonna be fully stocked with most of everything you need for your aquarium. Overall, Nautilus is still a good place to stop by due to the friendly owner and the tanks are still relatively clean compared to other stores.

Love, love, love this store, my favorite lfs in the area. Owner is caring and passionate of his livestock and is very knowledgeable. He focuses on customer service and always willing to lend a helping hand. I usually come in stock on food for my fish and end up spending half an hour and sometimes walk away with a cool new fish(es). Always rotating stock and trying to accommodate requests and special orders.

I've been in the hobby for about 20 years now and can say that so far I've had a good experience with William and his shop. After going to another local fish store and buying 20 rummy nose tetras, only to have ALL of them die on me during quarantine, I decided to look for a new source and pay a little bit more if it meant a better survival rate. William's rummy nose tetras were only $1 more each, a good size, and healthy, and made the transition to my home quarantine tank with ease. They are still in quarantine but I can already tell these guys are going to be just fine...they're eating well, active, and have colored up nicely. I wish I was closer to his shop because I'd come in more.

This shop is great and the staff is on point with answering all your questions. The variety of plants is pretty amazing and the price is wonderful. The critter selection is also really great and all well taken care of. This shop is definitely a good spot if you’re into the hobby.

This place is nice amd clean! The owner Brandon is very knowledgeable and helped us with all of our questions (we had many, we're new to the hobby). We ended up getting 2 Blue eye Normans, a plant, and a few other things. We will definitely be coming back.

They keep things clean and the fish look healthy. They also have a cool betta rack so they don't keep them in cups. Not a ton of selection when it comes to food and other supplies but they have the basics covered. The owner is cool too.

I ordered hillstream loaches and panda loaches and they all arrived super healthy and active (FedEx priority overnight). And Roberto was super helpful during the whole process and great at communicating. I would highly recommend NTF.

Great please, owner is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, the quality of the products is always good, I rather buy from him than most other places. He also cares for the fish wellbeing unlike other places where they miss treat them just too sell. I can trust my tank to this place!!!

A great fish store, with a vastly varied collection, all well kept in clean tanks. The available plants and other aquatic creatures are taken care of and it shows. The employee who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable about his subject, although another employee who appeared to be the manager was dissatisfied with his performance, and chose to passive-aggressively berate the employee while he was helping me. The poor kid was visually shook and upset by the comments, making for an extremely awkward customer experience.

I bought dozens of fishes and plants here but my favorite fishes I have gotten are discus. The owner and his worker are very great people who also give great advice on how to take care of your fishes and plants. I will definitely be back here soon to get more fishes and plants.

Great place, everyone was very friendly. I just wished that they would have told me to clean the live plants before putting them into our tank. They had a bunch of tiny skinny worms crawling around in my tank. I had to take all of the fish, shrimp and snails out, pour out the new water I just put in that I paid for, clean everything and put it all back in with the new water. It was alot!Tip for anyone who purchase any live plants rinse them before putting them into you tank.

I discovered this shop today and liked it enough to post reviews on several social sites. I worked in specialty aquarium shops on the east coast when I was younger, I was a member of some fish clubs, bred several types of fish and really love the hobby. Over the years some areas have seen big box stores dominate and many neighborhood expert aquarium shops have been forced out. It was great to find this little gem of a store with some good product selection, nice lives plants, inverts and fish - including many that you will never see in a big box store because their model is usually to carry the top 10 or 15 hardy/cheap fish and a bunch of painted and dyed fish. There is nothing wrong with the big box stores to get you started - I mean we all have to save money- but something is lost. You lose real experts and access to hundreds of plants, inverts and fish you will never see at a big box store. This is a great store and I hope you visit them - I know they are now on my list.

Did I go to the right place? Because the store I went to did not come close to the reviews. I was actually kinda surprised because the store looked depressing and dark, the fish selection was bland and very dirty tanks. A blue acara in poor health stirred up so much ditritius that he was no longer visible. I opened the lid of the tank and the smell was god awful. I bought a fish and the color of the water in the bag was brown. The only bright side was the plants. Very large and healthy. BUT the portions that were given to me and the price that was charged didn't match. I bought 35 bucks worth of plants but when I went home, I was dumbfounded at the size of the plants. These were not rare either. We travelled 2 hours and what a disappointment.UPDATE: Thank you for the reply. I would have LOVED to see all the species of fish you said you have but a good portion of the tanks were empty. A few rare fish, but nothing exciting. We made a special trip down to that area because of all the great reviews. But I am sorry to say the store does not live up to the hype.
