This place is usually clean, well organized, well stocked, and the people that work there are friendly+helpful. Sometimes there's only 1 person to ring up a lot of customers, but that's everywhere I go these days.

ONE CASHIER.AND AND 12 PEOPLE WAITING IN LINE.OTHER EMPLOYEES STAND AND YAK YAK YAK TO EACH OTHER RATHER THEN OPEN UP A REGISTER.Unless you have a half hour to wait in line shope elsewere.Mangagment at Dollar Tree Lakeside dosen't care about customers.

It is a bit slow when it comes to checking people out. But their prices are very re reasonable when you have little money for important essentials. Cleaning supplies ,cooler items and affordable snacks not to mention saving birthday parties with balloons and essentials. And holidays they are a big help. I feel very fortunate to have them un our lovely lakeside community. Some people have less then the snobs in the neighborhood looking down on the less fortunate. Robbing them twice for renters geez housing structures depreciate how many occupants have you had in that damage building anywho! Oh sorry , employees are overworked and not paid enough. You know the snobs in charge. Take it easy on them hard workers who are we to judge.

The staff is so rude. They don’t have simple manners or can even say hi or give me my total or even say thank you. Not a single word. I was the only person the cashier completely ignored and the person in front of my and behind me he spoke to fine. I was the only Hispanic in the line and the only person he treated different. Will be taking necessary action for this, I felt very uncomfortable

Ther was only one cash register open with about 15 people in line. That one cashier was doing his best but was not very fast. I saw at least three other employees there but they did not open another register.

The wait is always quite long, the associates are pleasant enough but there is definitely no urge to provide quick service. They will definitely look at you with an attitude like "I'll help you when I'm ready" I understand cleaning protocol, but I do not understand talking with the customers well past the transaction when you have one register open and seven people in line.

I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady at the cash register. She was so amazing. She cared for each person and didn't get stressed. That lady is amazing 👏 The Dollar Tree otherwise was your typical dollar tree. Love the cards for 50 cents.

I have been coming to this store for the past two years and have been pleased that they are consistently stocked, their products change every once in a well, and they provide a wide assortment of beauty and home care products.This store is always clean and neatly kept, even during these unprecedented times.Thank you for your friendly employees and maintaining your store to its fullest. I love this store and recommend others to come in as well.

This store has a really nice craft section. Lots of puzzles. Great drink selection. Holiday decor is super. I wish they were around when my kids were small! I love this place!

Been coming up a little short on supplies latelyBut what store hasn't?So call me at dork call me what you will but they had circus peanuts.You know the orange ones seems like compressed cotton candy to me. For months now no one has had them and this place did :-)

Lines go very slow at this store. They only use one cashier except when a second cashier opens up because there is fifteen people waiting in line. Then will shut down again immediately after helping one person. All the while two more employees are walking in and out of the tiny managers office all day in what looks like a contest of "who can get to the back of the store without speaking to anybody first kind of challege" Mind you, the one register that is open, just so happens to be, the slowest cashier alive. I mean she is as sweet as cotton candy but also forget an Uber she's drag you by the hair to get you home slow.

This store is a 5 for me. It's a hidden gem. Lots of stuff and seems to always be fully stocked. Honestly I think this store carries a higher quality of product s then the others

Lame cashier responded (after I waited in line for 7 minutes) to my question “can’t you get some help”? I don’t need any help. I don’t want to call another cashier for a few people. I was not at all worried about what she needed. No greeting coming in and no other conversation. No thank you. No going back

It's a shame your Lakeside 92040 location has no shopping carts. I was only able to spend $60 because I couldn't carry any more. As is I had to walk up 2 overflowing baskets to the register. Feel sorry for Brianna. She was the only cashier, as usual, with a line 10 people long and the only one greeting people as they came in the door. As I was leaving I told her to have a nice day and I hope she gets some help soon. Then, finally someone came from the 1st aisle to help. All the while she was just moving candy on a shelf. There is also no trash can nearby. This results in people leaving trash in the store. I was in the store for 30 minutes and Briqnna never had any help. This is sad and Typical.

The only problem is sometimes on weekends they only have one register open and when I was there I asked if she could ask to open another one. She said no, she was the only one there. Then someone did show up and helped someone that needed a ton of balloons blown up so it did not help to open the other one, as the people who moved to the new register didn't get help very quickly and the line they move out of, they would have been better off staying there.

Nice Dollar Tree Store in Lakeside. They are decked out for Valentines. Check it out. Lots of parking and checkout. Definitely will be going back.

Most things are in stock. Also a lot more of everything available. Flowers, paints, shampoo/conditioner even food items at reasonable prices. School supplies not only for students but for teachers too!
