My 7month old AussieMountianDoodle Piper got her first big girl cut today both swiftly and perfectly by Kirsten. We couldn’t be happier, she showed ZERO signs of anxiety or nervousness afterwords and looks absolutely stunning. As far as I know,, she only takes cash.. I really like Angelica & her helper. She is the type that let's you know what you may want to do in between visits. I only needed a basic bath, ears & toe nails clipped. I've never been disappointed. The last time I came here was like 10 months ago & she took my dog like she was NOT busy. My dog (a chihuahua) barks, growls & nips (short man syndrome) at new people but my dog was good & calm when I passed him over to her. She did a great job & my dog seemed fine when it was all done. I can leave my dog there while I running around town getting stuff done. She speaks so sweet to my little one & I think that helps my dog feel more comfortable. That's an extra bonus in my opinion!

I was very impressed by their services. My dog was afraid of the blow dryer and they had an alternative. He smelled so nice and was so soft! I'll definitely be taking him back.

I've been going to Angelica's for over a decade and love her work and attention to my heelers. She loves the dogs and that's why she's there. If you want someone to help you with your anxious or new pet, she's the one! My dogs love her and run in to see her everytime we go.

Always does an excellent job on both my Yorkie and Golden Retriever. She has been doing their cuts for almost 3 years. She's very affordable and handles pups with care. If you're not happy with the length of the hair.. she will trim it shorter for you on request. She always greets with a smile and I feel that I can trust her with my pups. It can get warm in the shop but recommend picking your pup on time and not leaving an entire day.

I won’t hear for the first time that is new to Lakeside area. Took my dogs to see Angelica and she kept saying I’m closing at 1 o’clock being really pushy about me being there like I was going to leave my dogs there! Then when I got there she didn’t tell me it was cash only and yeah there’s a little cardboard sign but really! She was going to keep my dog so I went to the ATM !!! She kept pushing that I have to be out of here by one I have to be out of here by one! Went and got cash was rushing and I get an accident right in front of her shop!!! I still manage to get the money to her before one!!! I was so shook up from the accident my car was totaled and not one comforting thing came out of her mouth! If that were me I would say are you OK do you need to sit down! For her being so Christian she’s just all she cared about was getting out of there by 1 PM! Terrible way to do business I will never go there again! Terrible customer service! And my dogs nails were still long their hair is uneven!! But the whole thing that gets me is her not being concerned that a customer of hers just got an accident I just don’t get it maybe I’m just too sensitive but I’ve been a waitress my whole life and I know how to treat customer which I feel what didn’t happen here

I was quoted a price to bath my Labrador of $60.00 after letting the owner know up front that my 3 year old was a well mannered pup but he was a big dog and weighed 95 - 100 lbs. When I picked up my dog she asked for $75.00 for bathing him. She didn't say, that next time it would be $75.00, but this time it was now that price. She took him from me and wanted me to come back within 30 minutes and pick him up. I had already told her that I had planned to pick him up at 2:00. I was there at 2:00 on time. Not good business to change the price after the job was done. She finally accepted $60.00 for the bath. I will not be back.

I took my dog here today to get groomed. After I pick-up my dog at 3:10pm, she was having a hard time breathing and weak. I don’t really know what exactly happened while my dog is on Angelica’s care. But whatever it is and whatever they did, I am sure that they have neglected my dog’s health. First of all it’s too humid inside their salon that anyone could possibly experience a heat stroke or dehydration which what happened to my dog while she’s at Angelica’s grooming. After taking my dog home, she threw up a lot of liquids many times, she still couldn’t walk and having a hard time breathing. We took her to the hospital but it was already too late, my dog passed the same day only 4hrs difference after taking her home from Angelica’s Grooming. 😢😢😢 how dare you not care of my dog’s wealth Angelica. Didn’t you even think that something wrong could happen to dogs that are being lock into a humid room?! How dare you!!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. I highly regret entrusting my puppy to this place. Worst idea ever. Angelica claimed she knew how to give my dog a puppy cut; I came back to him fully shaved. Down to the skin in 5 places drawing blood in 2!!! & to top it off I paid extra because she called 10 mins down the road to say he was "hard to handle" which I find hard to believe he is so doscile, my 11 year old bathes him regularly with zero problems. Very very dissatisfied.

We made an appointment to have our golden retrieve groomed to be ready for the dog sitter while we were out of town. Arrived at Angelica's for the 9:30 appointment only to be told, so sorry, but I'm too busy today to take him. No phone call, no advanced warning, nothing, and we leave tomorrow. What a totally unprofessional and unreliable business! We will NEVER go back.

Had an appt for my dog and was quoted 80.00 then when I got there she didn't have my appt down and said it was going to be 160.00! wow double the price, I was going to do it anyways and she went on about what a bad pet owner I was because I didn't get him groomed more often. He has an appt elsewhere and I love my pets Angelica thats why I was going to pay you 160 dollars to shave him. Her husband that works there is really good with dogs that is why I kept going but if she treats people this way how is she treating your dog when your not there?

I have two dogs, one is a Toy Poodle and one is a Bisone Freeze. High maintenance dogs to say the least. I have taken them there a few times and I cant say enough about the condition of the these two when they come out of there. It is always a transformation and I didn't have to do it!!!. Our whole family takes their dogs there and has for years and the owners have always bent over backwards to meet time constraints and special cutting instructions. My dogs come home happy and beautiful from the tips of their noses to the ends of their puppy dog tails. No one I know has ever had a bad experience. I have read the reviews and frankly I just don't see it.

Took my cat, a mild mannered persian in need of bi-annual shavings, here for years. Always great, she would tell me how much she loved him, wanted to steal him, even lecturing me once on how I needed to get him groomed more often....okay then. I call to make his spring appointment and her husband (Bless that man, he's great with the dogs and my cat) tells me they're no longer shaving cats. I expressed concern about why and he said they just decided it wasn't worth it. I mentioned that I had been going too them for years and to his credit he asked Angelica if she wanted to shave Edward. She said, oh sure! Call back on Saturday (It was Wednesday?) and we can work something out. Fine. If this gets my cat the care he needs I'll jump through strange hoops. Anyways, I call back on Saturday and she informs me "Oh, nevermind. I'm not going to do it. Bye."Why make me call back if you weren't going to do it? Why ban my mild mannered OLD AS HELL ITSELF persian who you admittedly love? It's not even that I have to find a new groomer, it's that you made me delay the time in getting my poor old man the haircut he needs for the San Diego heat. It's not easy finding a new groomer and they had absolutely no recommendations.

I do NOT recommend going to Angelicas pet grooming my pup had an APPOINTMENT at 2pm I take him in to hear I can't get him till 5 or 6 ohkay fine. Completely unsure I sit and wait till they are ready to take him from me. Finally, after siting and listening to another customer talk about dropping her dog off at 9 and it still not being ready then seeing that customer head home with her pup the owner comes to talk to me. Asks if I'll be leaving him for gis cut I say yes I'm just gonna sit and wait till you are ready for him and she says no... no. No I can not sit with my dog and wait for you to be ready to take him back and groom him rather then him being tied up to the wall or sitting in a kennel!?! Then tells me maybe I should reschedule weekends are really busy. I at this point am at loss for words YOU told me 2 o'clock you can groom my dog you wait till 2:35 to see if your gonna take him back and somehow turn it around and now I am the one that should reschedule!? I am extremely disappointed with this place and will never recommend it. If I could I'd leave zero stars.

Horrible. 1st time customer. Took time from work to bring my cat in at 12pm. I confirmed the night before my appt. with owner asking me to bring my cat in earlier if I could (which I did, 12pm). Since I work we agreed I could pick her up by 4pm at time of setting appt. Brought her on appt. date only to be told that I had to pick her up by 2pm! Since I work and had confirmed our appts time, I was shocked the owner was oblivious to wasting a client's time, she appeared to have no concern when I mentioned again that I confirmed the times. I left without service since I could not pick up my cat at the owners last minute change of pick up time. By the way, business hours posted at the store is 8am-4pm. I will never go back again. I would rather spend my money where the client is appreciated.

They used to shave my mainecoon for me once a year, by the third year after I dropped him off, they called to tell me he got out, OH, you mean you left the front door open while grooming a f...g cat!!! I lived in LG at the time, I packed my truck up and lived in it for two months looking my cat!! I was physically ill...PUT ON YOUR THINKING CAPS ANGELICA!! MY GOD THAT WAS STUPID~~~She sent me a check for a 100 bucks and said, here get another cat, you have enough love for another cat. Yes, this was some years back, but it still rings hard in my heart....Screw this place. Hard feelings? HELL YES! Think about your dog or cat being lost forever, think about it!!!!! God Bless you Angelica! Heartless. NO WONDER THEY STOPPED SHAVING CATS!! WISH THEY WOULD OF STOPPED BEFORE LOOSING MINE!!!!! BUT I'M GLAD ALL YOUR OTHERS WERE SAVED....

After the first time I took my dog to this place he refused to even go in the door so I figured something happened to him there. I took him immediately to Lakeside Dog Groomers and every time I took him he dragged me in the door so that's where I take all my pets.
