I pulled my motorcycle right up to the outside dining area and had a decent breakfast.The Howling dog cafe is dog friendly with water bowls available.It was early morning and not that busy so my Dog Pile breakfast was served in a timely manner. The sausage tasted funny to me so I didn't eat that, but maybe it was just a different kind that I wasn't used to. The gravy was delicious!The upbeat music playing was nice and so were the girls behind the counter.All in all, a decent breakfast experience. I'll be going back.

Love the food. But they cut off 95 percent of the menu a hour before they close. They close at 3 pm and they won’t serve about the whole menu after 2. You usually stop taking customers at your closing time. Lazy. Won’t be eating here again

Best place in Lake County to get a sandwich or a hot dog. Recently remodeled and looking excellent! They have expanded the dining room to grow with the customers that keep coming! They also have excellent breakfast and coffee! One of my favorite places to eat.

A place u must visit! I've never been for lunch but No1 makes a better breakfast burrito and the BAT bagel is a big hit for everyone I buy it for. Love the coffee Fraps and doggie decor! Pups welcome treats by the door!

Ordered the Friday special. Hot dog was lukewarm with no flavor? Ordered cup of Chile with cheese and onions instead of a bag of chips. I usually ask if some dishes are home made; but not this time. Chile came right out of the can. Should have had the chips, but would not have made the dog taste any better. Maybe staff use all the old weiners on Fridays.

I had a fresh, delicious green salad and husband had the blue cheese melt. We were both extremely happy with our food. The staff was friendly and efficient. When we are in this city again, we will definitely return.

I have been here a handful of times. They are always nice and service is quick. The mocha isn't overly sweet which is how I prefer it and the bagels are toasted nicely. The atmosphere is a relaxing one. Music playing in the background with pictures of dogs decorating the walls. They have breakfast and lunch options. A place that makes me wish I spent more time in Lakeport so I could frequent it more.

What a wonderful place to go for breakfast. Good service that was very attentive to our table and great food for the price. We had a great conversation with our neighboring table and just all around enjoyed our experience.

This is a hidden gem in Lakeport. I've been in for breakfast a few times in the past couple weeks and every time the service and food is great. The fresh baked goods and coffee are really good and the breakfast burritos are both generous in size and delicious. If you want the best breakfast experience on the North side of the lake, come here for sure!

Very good selection of dogs, if you like spicy get the howling dog, the good dog is another one of my personal favorites. Maybe a bit on the higher priced side but I think that's just an issue with Lakeport restaurants altogether. They have decent coffee too.

Cozy place. Good coffee. Lots of potential left atmospherically. I feel with a little tender loving care put into the layout and maybe a couple comfortable reading chairs, this place would be near its full potential. All in all though, lovely place tucked away in a nice corner of town.

i went in here with my mom for the first time and bad customer service two girls back there doing nothing aixunfriendly customer service wasn't greeted two faces didnt even say hi sat there for a couple of minutes then walked out

Great selection of hot dogs and styles plus a nice full menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner sandwiches soups and more. Excellent service with attention minded people. Prices are fair too. I highly recommend Howling Dog Cafe!
