Store was clean and neat. Employees were stocking, but there was still enough room to shop. Crafts area had lots of variety (the reason why I was there) and I found what I was looking for and things I wasn't! I didn't have to wait long in line to check out Was a great shopping experience.

Clean, great prices, and greeted with a friendly face and clean bathroom facilities. You need to know your products and comparisons to ensure a good deal. Refreshing that there are not hand trucks blocking isles and staff with piled high items to be stocked - like their competitors around the corner.

Not bad prices. A lot of things cheaper than my Safeway Just4U deals. Well stocked. Friendly employees. A few aisles with random assortments of items, but overall a good experience.

Dollar general is always a great alternative for discounted items. I can't say that I would treat it as my main grocery store, but I definitely shop there first to get items at a better rate before I go to the standard grocery stores where they can't beat the prices of Dollar general. I used to shop at the Dollar tree for selected items but Dollar tree doesn't always have the quality and name brands that the Dollar general has. Dollar general is a wonderful discount alternative.

My only complaint is that only a handful of items are actually a dollar otherwise the merchandise is a bit on the expensive side and not quite up to Walmarts standards.. however given the price and our dismal location I would have to say that it makes a fine replacement for the K-Mart that recently closed.

It is always overwhelmingly cluttered. Boxes everywhere and the shelves are bare. I realize due to Covid-19 restrictions they are limited on employees BUT, if your going to stay open then be useful. Going in everyday to check if something you need has been unboxed is defeating the purpose. I could shop elsewhere but then I'm removing the shop local factor.

Went in for a couple of specific items, so I'll need to make more time later, but store was well laid out, clean and the ladies at check out were very friendly. I would go in again and take some time, but looked like a great assortment of home items and good prices.

Had to return product no problem. Easier to shop ,less customers no basket jams. Find items not necessarily in other stores. Reasonably priced. Cashiers are friendly and helpful.

Awful experience. Unorganized and uncleanness and really poor selection. Nothings changed since over a year. Really lousy and disgruntled staff. Wouldn't even help with a single question. Refused cooperate phone number. Highly do not recommend.

This store is convenient but bad management. The shelves are never stocked right and items are still in the boxes on the very top shelves in the store so you can't get what you need. Actually this store is so annoying I don't want to go back.

Friendly under great management clean organized and easy to shop.The new store in Lakeport. The DG in Nice is okay and the DG in The Oaks is less then okay and have had difficult issues with purchase.

This is a great place to shop for most of the things that you can get a little bit cheaper then the normal grocery store. The staff r always nice and eager to help you or answer your questions if they can.

Dollar General is a much calmer, less crowded place to shop for many items that can be found in large box stores. They have great sales.

The prices were great but I had some problem with my EBT card. For some reason it didn't separate the food and non-food items, so it took a minute to separate EBT SNAP to EBT cash!!Be aware!

Amazed how much you can find from sodas, chips, to sweat suits, and shoes. Take time to ask questions when it comes to something you need the help their is great.

As usually happens when I shop dollar general. I stop at the most convenient one wherever I am around Lake. That's Clear Lake in Lake co. California. There are 4 Dollar General store around the Lake. This store that I was at, is the newest of the 4. It's also my least favorite..

Good place to get your stuff at a lower price, decent selections. Not much in this town when you live away from civilization so this is the place to go that's kind of like a walmart in this area.

It's sad when you can walk into a small Dollar Store and get more of your supplies that you need and want and then you go to Walmart and you try to do the same thing and you can't because their shelves are not full so Dollar General congrats and thank you for keeping your store full even during this nasty pandemic just goes to show you which retailer really does care about their customer service and their customers
