We found this cool spot to park the camper for a few days on accident. We were greeted by the bartender Michael when we pulled in to help us find a camping spot to park. We had some drinks from him later that night and had great frindly service. The owners Lacey and Tim were very friendly, very welcoming and went above and beyond for us. We are pretty picky when it comes to food and their food was very good and made from scratch which is hard to come by these days. We live 6 and half hours from here and will be back this summer for sure! Great place to check out to stay or for food a drinks!Rooms: Rooms are clean and accomodating.Food & drinks: Food is from scratch and prepared by a real Chef with great experience.

This is such a beautiful resort at Shasta Lake in Northern CA. The view of the lake is amazing! The bar and restaurant are fantastic. Definitely a family friendly place with a beautiful pool and activities for kids and adults. Live music on the weekend at the outdoor stage. The resort is a family operation. I highly recommend you book your stay soon😊Nearby activities: Dunsmuir and Mount Shasta.

Stayed in RV space for 2 weeks and during our stay we were threatened with being made to leave because my son and I got into a little argument when one night they were up until 2:00 in the morning cussing and screaming the bathroom shower room was absolutely filthy I had to clean it before I could shower tonight's before we left they had a car sitting next to the cabins with their brights on shining on my trailer day before they were leaving they sent me a reminder that check out was at 11:00 when we were told we had till 3:00 and they were very rude and saying to make sure we left and never look back we haven't done anything wrong to these people we were hardly ever there I love the location of the place on the lake walked out the door you can see the lake it was beautiful but the people were rude mean and just disrespectful I do not suggest ever getting a spot there

We stayed here Memorial weekend, when the new owners had just taken over, then we were there in October. Man! What a HUGE difference. The whole family run business have really stepped up to make this a fun place for all ages with a glamping experience. The best part is, they are making it amazing all year long not just for summer months. We don’t have a RV, and I’m not up for tent camping anymore, so the cabins are the best fit for me. They are super cute. Also, The Restaurant and bar are a huge hit. Can’t wait to be back!

Absolutely the worst place you could go.A complete dump...they didn't have the decency to advise what sate the resort was in. Even if they were to fix the place, it would be a dump.....owner wants to know what property. Apparently many have same name..20483 Lakeshore DriveLakehead, CA 96051Here is the address...is this your place?..owner hasn't responded since putting address in 20483 Lakeshore Dr, Lakehead, CA 96051..

If you haven’t already, you need to visit the new and improved Lakeshore Inn Resort! Friendly talented bartenders, & an amazing Chef with food that will not disappoint. They have built a beautiful stage outside and also have a small one inside for live music. Plenty of dance floor space! 💃🏻🕺 They have made sure to keep it a family friendly environment and not only do they have fun events like the taco eating contest, or the 80s themed party but they have also held a harvest festival which had hayrides to the ice cream parlor & face painting for the kids. They also had a Carmel apple decorating night for kids recently for only $5 an apple. My kids and I will definitely be back again & again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to stay. Beautiful view of lake and lots of fishing spots nearby. The new owners were great and were busy making improvements. During the week I stayed they were working hard to make this a great place. The bar was a great place to sit back and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommend the fried chicken.Nearby activities: great water access nearbySafety: safe locationWalkability: great place to hikeFood & drinks: grat service and food was good

We absolutely love heading up to Lakeshore from Redding on the weekends or even for dinner during the week! The staff and environment has made us feel more than welcomed which always keeps us coming back! We can’t wait to have Lakeshore as our go-to spot next year and we’re so excited for all the amazing changes and events to come!Food & drinks: Tim and his kitchen crew are always going above and beyond with their meals! Every time we have eaten there, he makes sure to come out, thank us and check on how the food was - that kind of customer service really makes you feel special!

We camped here over the weekend in our trailer. The site was clean, easily accessible, beautiful lake view, and had power and water. The guy taking over the place and the bartender were super good people and they are working hard to renovate the cabins/restaurant and property. No rating for cabins/rooms or bathrooms because we didn’t use them but we really enjoyed the place.

Campground and facilities not well maintained. Restroom and showers below average. It's best to shower in your RV. They advertise that they have a restaurant but it appears to be in renovation with unknown completion time especially when it is starting the high camping season in the middle of June. It also appears there are alot of homeless people nearby.Nice view of the lake but no access to it unless you want to chance it on a steep slope. Won't be coming here in the future.

No amenities. Gave 2 stars since at least there was air conditioning. All pics are old on website. Cabin leaned. Shower backed up ankle deep during very short shower. No toiletries. Stove didn't work. No TV. No cookware. No glasses. No hangars. No restaurant or bar as pictures lead you to expect. No lake access on property at all. We had asked what we needed to bring and were told they had everything. WRONG. Noisy campers bumping loud music well past quite time and no one on site to do anything about it. Go elsewhere.

Although Lakeshore Inn and RV does need some much needed updating, it is still a great place to stay if you're looking for it all. The pool, restaurant and bar are all clean. The drink prices are great. The entertainment on the weekends on the patio during camping season is always fun. My grandkids always want to join us. They have new owners, and with new owners comes new plans to update. If you're looking for complete privacy, this is not intended for that. This is intended to park your rig or pitch your tent, so you have a place to flop after a great day on the lake or at the pool, patio, bar etc.

Friendly staff and nice location right off the freeway although we didn't hear any freeway noise during our stay. There is a nice bar onsite (Bit of a crazy bartender who drank my beer from cup because it was overflowing) and the pool is really clean, lots of shade trees. The cons, the bathrooms were completely dirty. The stalls are shortened to accommodate the small bathroom so nobody used it much when we were there. There was quite a bit of trashy company camping with a few permanent residents with dogs running loosely everywhere. It looked like they are changing ownership when we were there and the overall upkeep of the campsite was extremely relaxed. Oh yeah and a few homeless guys digging through trash when we were leaving. The campground blends in with the dive bar that's about the best way to sum this place up!

Stayed only one night while passing through. Was nice and quiet and we enjoyed the pool. The view as well from our campsite was nice. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Only thing keeping if from 5 stars were the showers. They are getting a little run down and not much for privacy but the water was a perfect temp and it is camping after all ;)

After staying for two weeks, our family got to know the staff, the area, and the amenities really well. We loved our experience! Everybody was over the top friendly. We would definitely come back, especially to play bingo with the kids on Wednesday nights.

My wife and I stayed in the Bambi Airstream over the Memorial Day weekend 2022, when we arrived on Saturday afternoon we noticed that there were no pots and pans, I went o the bar area as the main office was closed, and I told them about the pots and pans, he said he will tell Mike and he will fix it for us, no mike. We noticed later that we had no propane so now we have no hot water, heat, and no stove, I went back to the bar, and again they said that Mike will be there to fix it, no Mike, I did it a gain and never sore Mike. Because of this we had no way of cooking and had to eat all of our meals out and the food we to with us was all wasted as we couldn't eat it. We still haven't heard from them after sending emails.

Place is run down.Bathrooms and showers were disgusting. It would be a novel idea to clean them once and awhile. Someone came through daily but not sure what she did.Saturday night concert is a great idea.Band did well until they became so drunk they didn’t even know the words to the songs. No security present at the concerts. They played until nearly 2:00 AM.No regard for the guests.Guys fighting afterwards when the bar finally closed.Great place just poorly managed.

What a great stop this Campsite was.The campsite offer a restaurant, bar, pool, live music, a store with ice cream, ice, soda, firewood bubbles and many more items one may need or have forgotten. We set up camp and played in the pool for hours, had a campfire in the fire pit.It was in the mid 90's which made it nice to swim in the pool so long. The camp ground had a nice size court yard with grass along the back and plenty of seating, a nice big place for a band to set up and a pretty large bar as well, so if you are a drinking person you can walk back safely to your campsite. The music starts around 9 and went till midnight, our campsite was the closest it could get and we went to bed at 10:30 and fell asleep fine, the pool wore us out plus the heat. The ladies who run the front office are as nice as can be and very friendly.I just loved this place, it was my first camping trip with my grandbabies and they loved it.The camp ground is located right off the lake, however I didn't see access to the lake, it also has cabins and a nice park for the kids to play at.A flushing toilet and a gated pool area.I would recommend this camp ground to anyone with kids.

Over all, it is an adequate facility and appeared better than some we passed in the area for RV's. But it was our least favorite on our trip through Washington, Oregon, and California.Pros: Beautiful mature trees provide a good amount of shade. The pool was a nice feature that we saw being used. The view of the lake was amazing and it was interesting to watch the trains cross the bridge. There is a bar onsite. The staff were polite and accommodating with our changing schedule.Cons: Our site was filled with debris, garbage and dog feces upon arrival. (Most sites were clean & ready for use) The bathroom facility was visibly dirty despite having been recently "cleaned"

Great place. Love the bar staff. Fun kareoke and bands. Drinks are priced reasonable. Love the lake view especially when lake is high. Meet new people all the time. Don't come if you can't handle noise til midnight. Its posted so don't criticise. I don't smoke but it has never bothered me. Kid friendly but people are vacationing so don't be uptight or go elsewhere. bathrooms and grounds could use major sprucing up. Owners don't really care about looks of place.Noise from bridge work doesn't help but not campgrounds fault. Wifi doesn't really work more than a few campsites out.Parking is horribly overcrowded and they don't care if another camper blocks or parks on your site even if you've been coming for 10 summers. They don't mind people getting overly drunk. Seen my share of staggering people and fights. I would suggest staying somewhere nicer and just go over if you want music Friday or Saturday night

Honestly do not waste your time here. To start when we were taking our order, the chef came up to ask us a question and REEKED of cigarettes. Secondly, we ordered two BACON cheeseburgers. The ONLY burger on the menu. it was over $40 for the two BACON burgers AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT ANT BACON. Not to mention the ranch was EXTREMLY watered down, and the fries had a very bitter taste. The "ice cream shop" is just a cooler at the end of a bar where a bartender makes you ice cream, its ridiculous. If you really want ice cream go buy some from the lakeshore market, at least you know what you're getting there.

Breakfast was a 5. Great food and waitress. Came back for dinner last night and after 15 minutes went to ask waitress if she knew we were there? No menus or anything. Finally went and got our own menus. After 30 minutes and still no acknowledgement from the waitress our group of 6 left. I have never had that type of "service ".

My favorite place on Shasta lake. My family goes every few years and we always have the best time! The site might not have 5 star amenities, but that's the joy of getting away from home! The food is wonderful, the pool is great, and the view is even better. I can't wait for my next trip.

First off, I wasn't aware that the railroads allowed people to build so close to a railway. Which, brings me to my initial point. Railroads and tent camping do not mix. I would be willing to bet, that if we had a camper, we would have enjoyed this area a lot more. However, we were awoken at 0300 by the first train of the morning, and what felt like every quarter hour thereafter (probably more like every half hour to an hour). As for the rest of the experience, it is close to the lake. They claim to have a boat ramp, which we couldn't find on the map or while driving around. The facilities on the camper side (yes, they have tents and campers separated, which was nice) were much nicer than the port-a-potties on the tent side. The cost for camping was decent, even though we got a last minute site on a busy weekend. All reasons to bump this from a one star, to a three star review. The staff was very friendly as well. The place was clean. There were just trains. Which, I want to point out, are one of my favorite inventions. I am just a big kid when it comes to heavy machines, and trains are some of my favorites. Unless I am sleeping. Or trying to sleep. Yeah, pretty much my favorite any other time, though...

Our house burned down last September and we thought another person named Eddy was buying the place. We were very pleased until it fell through and Eddy didn't buy itWe moved in 8th of December and then in April they informed us and two other tenants were told we had to leave in May. We are disabled seniors on a fixed income with a lot of health issues andmygirlfriend isaveteran. They say they have wifi not true in almost all sites. The food was very disappointing and a lot of there hired hand are on drugs or drunk most of the time and they treat their customers awful and even try to fight them and don't forget to check your bill before paying, because they charge you more than you had. The owners Charlotte and Ross have some serious issues and send customers to handle their business and spread lies. A pine tree fell on someone 5th wheels and thank the lord no one was inside. I feel I've said enough and don't recommend staying or eating there, everything is not what you see.

Everything is right there clean friendly, staff, they have cute clean cabins with kitchens for those who prefer to fix their own meals. There is RV parking or you can still rent camp (with lake view) spots. There is a bar restaurant. Good food and in the warm spring nights and days you can eat outside and enjoy the lake views. Oh and a swimming pool too open seasonally.

We had a large party--Our 6oth Anniversary trip-- the food here could not be topped by any high end place in the most expensive place in any place in the US.. So what if we had paper cups the food was the thing...best steak I have ever had. the rest of the family were also happy with their salmon, or Fish and chips.....If I had known I would have been wanting to eat there more nights...eating outside in the balmy weather overlooking the lake was very agreeable and they had games for young adults- kids...all around terrific place.. Nice wait staff..

Five star rating due to friendliness of the owners and the rustic appeal of the place, combined with very cheap off season rates on a lakeside utility site with firepit (mine was water and electric for $19.50/night, not sure if the sites with sewer were more). Restaurant and bar, good local crowd. Adequate facilities, especially with hardly anyone else around. Would certainly stay here again. If you are looking for modern spotless facilities or paved parking pads, this may not be your spot, but I really like it.
