Staff is friendly, store is usually sold out of sale items, and frequently out of everyday items. Price of all products are up to 3 times higher than most Von's. This is the only major market in the area. I would suggest Grocery Outlet (just down the street), or Dollar General also nearby.

Our cashier Dawn was so dang sweet! She took the time to explain how to use the Vons app and clip coupons while she scanned our items. I was able to save a bunch and now I’ll know how to use the app in the future. They definitely lucked out with her. The store is clean and well stocked. Looking forward to shopping here in the future.

Never enough registers open, everyone is friendly and helpful, but since there is competition in town now, you are no longer stuck with paying their high prices. They have added more just for u coupons and rewards you actually want to use.

This place is alright but u could get the groceries from grocery outlet for cheaper for some items and there’s always a long line in all of cashier but in general the people are very nice and help customers honestly this place is alright

Rotten food in nice store!The supermarket looked nice from the interior and offerings but there is a clear issue with the cold chain and quality assurance.We have bought a few different items (the last Hummus and a Kerry Gold cheese along some other products for our trip. We placed them in a fridge in the RV and drove off. The next morning we wanted to enjoy the hummus and cheese only to realise the the Hummus was open and the cheese had a "healthy" green colour. The cheese was mauldy.An experience and shop which I will not forget.

Vons is always a good place to shop, its my number 1 for all my groceries. People are friendly, customer service is very helpful and its an all around feel good store. I especially love the piped in music, it makes shopping a little more fun! This Vons has drive up shopping and handicap carts for convience.

Prices are through the roof! The coupons and the "savings" on fuel along with other "perks" are a joke. I've learned to check the expiration dates as I've gotten out of date or sour products more than a few times, which is corrected when I bring it to the stores attention. But that happens more than it should. The employees are friendly but seem discontent or unhappy with their job. I've seen what I believe to be management treat a couple of employees poorly by humiliation in public. I only shop here because it's has what you need if not spoiled, or out of date.

My baby dog Cheeka was killed in the parking lot and nobody did anything about it. She was attached by a homeless big red nose pit on the 22 of June she was on her leash the Pit Titus was unattended tied to a bike trailer with stuff on it, the dog pulled the cart about 50 feet, before latching on to her as she was in my hands. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS DOG IF YOU HAVE SMALL PET! The owner of the pit stands outside bagging for change frequently.

Why are you always out of pickling spices. You use to have them in the bags with all the other spices. Or in a jar. I've tried getting this the last 2 times I've shopped. Today you had (1) small jar.

Every employee in this store seems miserable. I have gone through checkout without getting any eye contact or even a hello. I go in that store feeling happy and leave feeling ripped off by the prices and sad for the employees. You would think they are unpaid forced labor the way they treat customers. I literally hate this store!

7:00p.m. on a Thursday night is a good time to shop because it was not too crowded!The staff is efficient and kind!I Found all of the items I was looking for, except regular Fig Newtons, frosted Cherry Pop~Ups and Tylenol gel caps.Produce looked especially fresh and colorful! This is a great store for such a remote area. Produce is fantastic, it has a starbucks, a good deli and bakery, and an excellent flower dept. The variety of items is pretty good considering it's the only grocery store in town. And prices are average. Worth a stop for lunch or coffee and dessert in the summers when the very few restaurants are extra busy or already closed 👍 Bonus: staff are ALWAYS helpful and kind and fast (mostly). We like to grab some deli food and dessert from the bakery and head to watch the sun set behind those gorgeous mountains. Virtually anywhere up there is a beautiful view-even from the parking lot of Vons 🤣

I truly enjoy almost all the clerks that run the cash register. Considering there are only a couple grocery stores in Lake Isabella, which they by far are the busiest around, the clerks are able to professionally handle almost all difficult situations which I don't believe most would be able to with such grace. They are mostly kind, friendly and personable with regulars.

In my opinion, the best grocery store in Lake Isabella and the surrounding area. I live about 10 minutes away and do most of my grocery shopping at this Vons. It's well-stocked, clean, has friendly staff, the produce is good, and the meat case is good.Be sure to bring your own shopping bags to avoid paying 10 cents a bag at checkout.Update: no touch payment using the Vons app is fast and easy

Friendly Staff & Great Sales. Some stuff is higher than elsewhere. But if you shop the sales you can do ok. It makes up for the higher priced stuff. Shop the buy 5 items also. They will be changing their hours soon. Will be opening an hour earlier at 6am soon if not already. They won't be extending their close time yet. It's still closing at 11pm, they said it may change. I don't see it since it's already mid summer. Hopefully next summer. Just start shopping late. Maybe if enough people are in the store at 11pm. They may extend it now or at least in the summer. When most stores up here change theirs.

If you go there at 9:30 at night you will experience drug addicts panhandling and illegal aliens sleeping at the front of the store!!!! Disgusting!!! My husband went by there in the day time and some addict was sleeping beside the front door. They do nothing to stop this. They need security.

If you're thinking about getting a job at Vons you definitely should be looking somewhere else when you get hired you'll be dealing with Matt the assistant manager and he will definitely take advantage of you in every way possible he is not a good person and only has his own interest in mind I work there year-and-a-half and got to know the upper management very well they only look out for themselves and HR is an extension of the company they're not there to help you they're there to protect the company they definitely pray on their employees knowing that they're the only place up here in lake Isabella that readily hires Jerry ,Angie, and Matt have no morals and they will put you through the ringer mentally ,physically ,and emotionally that was my personal experience working there for over a year and a half...

Vons had a special on fried chicken and knowing how they are out of it all the time I called you verify that they had it. I was told that they had plenty,when I got there 20 min later they were out and I waited for them to cook more. They should start cooking another batch as soon as they finish a batch especially when it was $5.79.

Its a grocery store and the only real true big chain grocery store within like 40 miles or so of where we live so I guess I would have to say... its great. I mean it beats the alternative, Nada!

The produce section is top notch! The prices are good. During the covid times they are on top of it. The lines get long but they move fast due to the employees working hard and efficiently. A lot of patrons not wearing masks though!

Every time I go I go check check out the three little sale areas one especially for the meat sale it's like a secret spot where they put sale things and I love it when I score on some really good steaks for cheap as I did thank you Vons
