There employees are very rude and tryed to say I took something without paying for it when I have never done that in my life. I have no need to take something without paying for it. I used to like this store a lot but now I will be doing all my shopping at ace and whenever anyone asks me what hardware store is better I will be sure to point them to ace. If u are in need of something from a hardware store place don't go here to right up the road to ace where they treat you right.

Avoid speaking with the clerk named Ginger. She is rude, has a terrible attitude and is not helpful. The gentleman in the Service department was awesome so that's why I'm giving them 3 stars.

Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be judged by rude employees. Went in to pick up something simple and got to the register for that item to be more than double the price it was marked as. Walk the employee back to where the item was grabbed and it was zoned wrong, then the other employee that was already in the isle makes a snide comment about how punks change the labels like I was the one who did it. Get back to the register where they didn't want to honor their mess up and lady at the register again makes a snide remark.They say to shop local, but this is how locals treat there customers and makes it hard to want to support locals who own these businesses. Gladly taking my business elsewhere.

If you need a chain for your saws, do not go here. They have no one that's knows anything about chains. It was very frustrating. The manager was no help at all and she was very rude.

Helpful and friendly. They were able to make a key for us that the other place in town said was a special order. There's a good variety of items and the garden supplies are pretty good. We get garden soil here and the prices are not bad. We go there first when we need something.

I had been going there for about 7 years for hardware and propane. We have been having a lot of flooding locally and I got stuck in the mud on the way down there. After digging out I got there at 4:05pm. I asked for help in the propane department and they said they don't sell propane after 4pm. (New rule) I asked the owner lady and she said they wouldn't help me. Nice to know how much they value my business. Went down the street and got my propane for less.

It's hard to find someone to ask questions or to help. A lot of times I've been there no one ask if I need help or I can't find anyone in the area I'm at having to go through the store looking for someone. Then end up waiting to ask cashier if they can get someone to help me. It's not always or everytime.

By far the best hardware store I think I've ever been in. You name it they've got it! Friendly and knowledgeable crew. Kern River Valley you are very lucky to have this store.

Most times they have what you need for fixes and problems and what-not. The staff are super friendly and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable. They have a great variety of products and their prices are quite competitive, I believe.I really like going there.One problem I see; quite often actually, is that the pricing is not always there, or pertains to the product on display; so, it may be a little confusing for some of us.

This hardware store is huge. I was able to get a key made here and was able to find the tool set I need. They have paint and gardening departments too.Garden sections. Kitchen too.

Great place to shop prices are much better than the other hardware store here. Also of course we have lots of good friends working there but I've noticed recently that they don't seem as excited as they used to to help! Probably has a lot to do with covid and all that jazz which gets me down. So next time you're in there get friendly and strike up a conversation if you can I'm going to.

I always can find help here. I never feel like I am an inconvenience when I even have to ask the silliest of question. For a small town their prices are very reasonable and affordable for many products. I do have to travel for plants and pots since they are very high there, but that should not have to affect the rating as I would always choose them over Ace for the service and prices.

Love this store. The other Isabella location doesn't carry live plants, this one does. I ONLY WISH they would mark their marked down plants better, and had someone who works the garden center outside. Still, love this store

The gentleman that came to help meWas not in the best of mood.Had to walk about 50 yards to thePropane tank. Was not friendly( sorry I put him out ) love the store, and I will go back !!For my propane I will go down the street.

Went for locks to childproof indoors and outdoors. Not sure of the name of the man that helped me but he was extremely helpful. Opened and customized a lock for me to accomodate my gate. Was a great idea. I was even able to find a whole childproof section and found lots of childlocks I've never even seen at Walmart. Definately reccomend. Very helpful people and a pleasure shopping here.

The manager has a conscience and a heart. We had a series of unfortunate events with a rental unit I manage needed a carpet cleaner rental, ended up having it 8 days!!, he cut me a deal to make it right for both of Us. Super appreciated.

One of my favorite stores in the valley. Always helpful, friendly employees – I spend more time there than I do at home. They have a little bit of everything, although they're primarily a hardware/home improvement store.
