We love this shelter. Dawn is awesome and helped get us set up with all the spays and neuters for the 3 cats we adopted. They were well cared for and happy when we got them, and the adoption rates are very inexpensive.

Nice staff, decent facility, and very generous adoption package when picking up my new dog. If you are in the Lake Isabella area and looking for a dog and not picky about the age or breed, this is the best place to start. Considering all the shots and care the animals are given prior to adoption, in a matter of speaking, getting a pet from here is actually cheaper than getting one for free.

They were very patient and nice . Most animals come with a care package. My dog I adopted did. They do suggest to come and visit the animal for a few days to see if both are compatible. We went to see our dog for about an hour for about three days and we both seem to get along. Hannah Kimberly is the best. Workers

The lady who works there LOVES those animals BIG TIME! We ended up adopting "the terrible two" - twin pit mix puppies. A handful and a half and sooooo crazy cute! As we were loading them up, after being patiently and thoroughly guided through the paperwork, Kimberly got tears in her eyes. She said "Be good to them! I put a lot of work into them". She sent us with starter food, blankets, toys, dishes and a crate! I love her care for those in her care. It's a great, nicely kept place!

This is a well-run facility. It is clean and the animals are taken care of. Everyone working here clearly loves the animals.And they helped me find a great dog! Don't buy, adopt!P.S. Ignore that woman below who only gave 1 star. She bags on everything. The staff at this facility couldn't be nicer or more accommodating.

Really great, caring people here! Dealing with evacuees, but still taking the time to give the fur-babies their chance of a furever home. Knowledgeable about each pup and helpful. Thank you for really caring about the lives and fates of these precious babies!!

The people here are angels with feet! Placing animals in fur ever homes is their number one priority. An entire network of veteranarians locals and a huge heart director make the world a better place!!

About 2 years ago, I adopted a little orange tabby kitten. The staff was kind & you can see that they love those animals in their care. My little orange tabby is now 2 years old & feisty loving sweetheart. I will be going back soon as I hope to adopt a dog next.

I know that they have a lot of love for animals.. I had been living here about 6 Yrs ago and I had gotten a 2 dogs from there and then I moved. I had to leave my dog at critter sitters and was told they would take the dog and find a home. Come to find out they didn't find one but he was still there so I went and got the dog..this shelter is a great place and remembered me n dog and offered me any help if I need anything to let them know. They even took pictures of the dog.This place is Awesome!

I got my boy back but at a very expensive price. They had him 15 hrs and charged me for two days. I got around a "licensing fee" and it still cost me $160!!! Thankful to have my hound back but not happy with their price gouging.Only gave 2 stars because I got my boy back. If not I'd have given 1 star. The staff was helpful.

The only beef I have is that the website says they're accepting animals but they're not. What's going on is not the shelter's fault with covid-19, and they do so much for our valley most of us can't even imagine what it's like to not be able to help so many people or animals. My heart goes out to everyone who is struggling with their animals, as I am.
