The big obnoxious girl at night Kelsey ,? if I remember correctly dark hair & an attitude as bad as it looks like it would.. Screams you have 5 min from the moment I open car door the once in store you have 4 min , granted there is not a soul in there plus fact I’m legally handicapped with service dog. When I’m waiting at register no one is available so I say hop to it someone & this vile human says we’ll I’m not serving you , I laughed thinking having the right to free speech isn’t allowed here & discrimination directed at the handicapped is acceptable. I will contact corporate, store mgr & ADA for a discrimination claim. I’ve worked with Jeff Newcomber closely whom is very high level management with this company. She is just being LAZY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL & should NOT BE WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC . I work management in retail for a large hardware store & get it at closing we all want to go, but using a Overhead Page is much more professional than the screaming RUDE human. I go there at night & every time I go same thing. I made a complaint on this same individual for not knowing the return policy & being as pleasant as you’d expect, Then took in a collection of damaged items with no receipt & what do you know full refund - per corporate policy. I will avoid spending money here & don’t shop local for this reason rude , lazy , I assume locals who have never ventured far from this racist, corrupt, overpriced DUMP of o po dunk town. You only truly vote with your cash nowadays I’ll be spending mine elsewhere. To the beast working there you won’t last a min in real corporate America, I’d suggest staying away from engagement with humans & seek couch surfing & bon bons. To the other gal whom is always friendly, & professional it’s too bad we can’t joke & talk dogs Any longer 🤙🏻

I don't live in this area, and I came to purchase a couple items, when I over heard a judgemental, holier than thou older gentleman, who does know me from anywhere ,or ever seen me before, or know a thing about me or what I do. In his assumptions and the employee he was confiding in, I took the higher road and didn't say anything, Lord knows I wanted to! Didn't really care for the two faced employee, after yucking it up with gramps, going to smile in my face, like he wasn't part of that conversation. You don't know me either! Feel lucky that I don't reach to your corporate headquarters, Don't want to see you lose your job, Use your head next time. If all you have to do is make assumptions about people, verbalize gossip and take part in negativity, take a long look in the mirror, and ask yourself Is this what my life has become?

Friendly staff. Store carries just about everything from groceries to auto supplies to home decorations. The DG is one of my favorite places to get some quick munchies. There's usually no line and when there is, it moves fast. Prices are always low.

The bald guy from Germany that closes at night is rude to the customer unless you happen to a pretty female then he couldn't be nicer. Rushing people through the store telling them they have 5 then 4 then 3 minutes til he closes. Needs to have some customer relations training.

It’s has it’s good and it’s bad. The guy with the red hair and the older girl with dark straight hair is always talking about the other co workers every time I go in there when they are working. The lady with short hair and the girl with long lighter brown straight hair are super nice and went out of their way to help me find things

I had a bad experience at the Mt. Mesa Store. As soon as I walked into the store which should have left me 30 minutes to shop I am startled by a bald gentleman who starts yelling WithOut a PA System extremely loud* 25 minutes, finish your shopping* I was ever so rudely rushed to check out within the first 5 minutes. My experience in Lake Isabella has always been much more pleasant & accommodating.

Well now that I'm familiar with the store, and tho it still seems unorganized, I have a much better opinion and better shopping experiences there. When you walk in, in the center of the store there is a$1.00 only isle, I suggest starting there. There's literally a Little bit of everything thing there and in decent size packages too and the price is right. Then I suggest to find the discount isle toward the back of the store, you can't miss it for the mess, but there's good deals there sometimes too.

Just down the street convenience and so when I get back from Von's and have forgotten something I can just run over to dollar general and get it. Many common brands and products with Von's and at lower prices. Shorter quicker lines, friendly staff. Not much in the way of food, though. Nothing organic. If you want organic food its a trip to Von's.

Great place to shop, everyone that works there is so courteous, nice and very helpful anytime I need it. Things are easy to find, I just love $ General and will always go there first because 95 % of the time they always have the product I am looking for. And very convenient locations. Most of my family and friends shop there.

Often OUT OF the on SALE items. The employees are great but the corporate office doesn't care much about their employees or customers whom have to stand and wait in access of ten mins at the check out frequently because they didn't schedule enuff employees on duty. Especially during holidays. Don't expect to grab a few items and get in and out quickly.

Most always has everything I need. Once in awhile they are out of milk. They did however have the dishwasher rinse-aid I needed, and in their clover valley brand that I have found as good as the national brands.

Its always dirty and over stuffed. Racks always in the aisle. Can't get through with a basket. Long wait times. The register is always down or the printer. There is always something wrong. Usually only one person working.. I only shop here in an absolute pinch

Ugh...the staff is so unfriendly and phony towards me almost every time i patronize this store. They seems more interested in socializing with each another and I always feel like an imposition. I will keep trying, but 3 out of 3 visits I have had the same experience. Sorry girls...

I like this store.they have just about anything you need. And I always see friends that I have not seen for awhile. Great hours for this valley.most places close by 7 or 8 .. open till 10 really works out here.

This general store has about every thing you may need , except fresh fruit & vegetables ...for a very reasonable price. Though there is a market 1/4 of a mile away where you can find plenty of fruits & vegetables. Getting back to the general store it is Air Conditioned .

Store was a lot dirtier than any other I've been too. Employees were nice as in any other store. Just dirty with some unstocked shelves.

The lines are too long. More than once I've seen 3 or 4 people running around stocking or in the back office with one person at the register while the others just look at you. The parking lot is almost always filled with trash blowing around, especially towards the back.

Dollar General is the place to shop in town. Prices are great customer service is good at the one in Lake Isabella and in Wofford Heights, friendly, not as clean.
