First time there and I only went for a litter box and toilet paper and somehow I spent $119 and never found the litter box. I came out with all kinds of kids water toys, and garbage bins, cat litter, couple bags of grass seed, and didn't need any of it. I just kept going down the aisles to see what else they had. I was surprised to see such a variety. Really cool stuff and yes it was busy. There was a wait in the line but I expected that because the parking lot was packed when I got there. Cashier was friendly and they had 11% off entire purchase for military families. Good energy and good place to shop. The aisles are small so it doesn't accommodate my disabled mom very well but I can always just go get what she needs. Cant believe I spent so much so fast but I am very happy with everything I brought home. I think I was the only one in the store with a mask besides the cashiers but there are signs posted on the front door. I guess its such a small town people aren't worried too much about covid. Overall I enjoyed my shopping and I would go again.

It's alright the online ordering is one thing I would not suggest because when I ordered for pick up I didn't get half of what I ordered , however they did refund me for the mistake but just like everywhere else Id do your shopping in store so you know your getting what you paid for .

Horrible! Using USED bags that must have been dug out of the trash because they have had no bags for about two months now. Recently purchased some food items and they were put into a used bag with some sort of animal hair all over it. The bag and my food items were covered in animal hair. I'm sure this is some sort of health code violation. Absolutely disgusting!

I like this store. Even when there are lines, the service is still quick. On multiple occasions, an employee will open the register to cash me out even if I am the only other person in the line. Very appreciative of this when I'm in a rush. Will definitely contribute shopping here just for the great customer service. Besides that, shelves seem to always have what I need and they are the only place I seem to find cookies and cream mini donuts which my boyfriend loves haha!

I loved the size of the store! I see how difficult it is for my local store in Wofford Heights to deal with plan-o-grams fitting what they can in a much smaller area. The Lake Isabella location was very clean, well stocked, and the customer service was superb.You can see it in the associates that they are happy and satisfied with the Management, where the attitude starts from and trickles down.I will be making a lot more farther away trips to this location because it is well stocked, no "come back on Thursday," etc... etc... Worth the extra miles.

I like this dollar general fine. The people have been helpful. However there is a lot of garbage blowing around the lot that I wish they would pick up. Also, sometimes my receipt doesnt reflect the sale prices listed in the aisles so keep an eye on that.

I love our dollar general but they have a new cashier and he looked lost when ringing up my purchase. Didn't know how to bag the merchandise and he would put items in the bag and set it on the floor, resulting in forgetting a bag full of clothes worth 30+. I can't just jump in my car because we don't have one. My husband is disabled and I have a chf. So we have to take a bus Where we go. So I had to have my son get on his bike and ride the 2 miles there and back to pickup my purchase. Very inconvenient. Cashier needs to be trained how to pack the bags and the register. Not very friendly either. We will go back but will not go to that clerk again. I will wait for someone else. And on this trip spent over 200 dollars.

The store in Wofford Heights is usually in disarray but the staff is so helpful. Especially Ian he is so funny and will find everything you need if it's been moved. The store is busy and I know they expect the register people to be putting things up to but when there's a lot of people coming into that store they just don't have the time so maybe they should take the time and hire somebody just to stock shelves.

Other customers are more trouble than I thought the employees would have to deal with, such as half a store filled with moody, grumbly, mid aged country folks, teens are trashy, and the old folk are questionable. Keep up the hard work store gals and guys, that's a mess to deal with ever day, I appreciate you all, thanks you for your service. .

They don't open up on time, dirty place, rude fat cashier, I would recommend family dollar or Vons but not dollar general.

One of the few places in the Kern River Valley where prices are always low and their doors stay open past 8 pm. They have groceries but if you want produce and meat, you will have to go elsewhere. Staff is generally friendly and they now can assist with limited Western Union transactions.

I was very disappointed. I went there to get 20 balloons filled with Helium for a memorial. It took 1 hour and 16 minutes to get the first 12, and then I left with them owing me 8 more balloons. I'd missed enough of the service and didn't want to miss it all. I called the store after I got home and told them to give kids the others. It wasn't just that it took them so long, it was because they wont hire enough help. That store is quite busy so both people have to be on registrar. After all the $ you make from us, you should take better care of your customers!

Every time i have visited this store, they are out of so many things! Have neen there when a whole aisle is empty, and will be like that for weeks! Lacking stocked merchandise always, and not just a few things! Someone is not doing there job or dont know what they are doing! Have been to both the other stores in krv. They are not like the isabella store!!!!

I'm torn between amazing prices and lousy organization of where to find clearance items. I don't like to nor always have time to look at every item on every shelf on every isle to not miss the best deal. The service has always been great.

It was inconvenient to have to walk back to my vehicle to get my ID to buy cigarettes, I'm 65 yrs old. Some policies as this show no common sense. The other purchase I made, I was over charged .75 times 3. And had to insist they do a price check or remove the items. Finally the cashier decided to remove the overcharge and sell it to me at the correct price they advertised.Un neccessary BullStuff

Nice and clean. Doesn't seem to have as many things that I want as the other DG's in my community but definitely the nicest and cleanest! It's like most DGs though. Slow service and don't know how to work their system or the rules. I saw them turn away an active military soldier who was 19 and wanted to buy cigarettes. By law if you are in the military you only have to be 18 to buy tobacco products. I had to step in and have them call a supervisor who was at home to as if they could sell to this guy!! Should know your stuff when it comes to military and veterans!!

Customer service is good. Always check receipt cuz everytime I've shopped there prices either ring up different. Discounts weren't applied to things on sale..... But when pointed out was corrected

When I first visited this store was top notch. In excellent shape 4 months ago. Now!! They must be severely shorthanded. Store looks like a slum store. Sad. Hire me as mngr .

Well I'd like to know how they knew I was there. Google snooped where I was and then sent a notification asking me how it was. I was never asked if I wanted to be under Google's surveillance and dont like it at all. From now on I will jailbreak and root if they are different things, and cut google completely out of the picture if that is possible.

The store is great but if you call down there they never answer the phone my wife's got a hundred and fifty phone calls in two days trying to see if the word search books came in 4 1/2 miles away go all the way down there and come back just to check it's not very funny
