On multiple visits, the staff are always beyond friendly as willing to assist. The specific item that I wanted was out of stock, so the person helping me called around to different stores to find what I needed. Their prices and selection are better than their competitors.Update: They've changed their fish area around a bit. It's now more difficult for fish to jump into their neighboring tanks.

There’s always something up with the animals at this place. A while ago it was a snail infestation in all the fish tanks (they were still selling fish), today it was a large chameleon in a TINY tank with nowhere to perch, waste everywhere, and a veg diet in a bowl. Chameleons are obligate carnivores. This location’s animal care disgusts me- take the extra time and drive to the Aliso location instead.

My wife and I recently completed a 6 week beginners training with our puppy, Alora. Brittany is a great trainer. She is very personable and passionate about her work. I would highly recommend her if you need to get your dog trained.

I used their pet hotel service once. Both drop off and pick up had issues. When I dropped off my pet, there was no staff at the counter. I had to wait 5 minutes until someone showed up and processed my paperwork. But they were slow and inefficient. Then during pick up, the person that helped me kept pausing my paperwork to help other customers who came after me, apparently because their requests were quicker. This is very unprofessional.

The monthly Insurance plan is a scam. They make it very difficult to cancel. I called the number provided and the recording said they would call back. No one called back even after 2 phone calls. I went to the Banfield desk and the attendant, she told me this was a common problem. Even the person I spoke with couldn't cancel from the desk. They told me they would do their best and call me to after the confirmation of the cancelation. No phone call. I'm sure this is a deliberate policy.

Always very helpful! We can bring our pet in the store on a leash of course and my pet loves ❤️ to explore! Their groomers are very caring too. I took Lola in for her grooming and she came out looking just adorable ❣️🤗

Lauren in their Grooming department is amazing!!I brought my kitty Bodhi in for grooming service, since he's a very long haired cat and he needed some relief from long tangly hair. This was likely first grooming ever (we've only owned him a year or so), and Lauren was so kind and sweet to him, he was also a very good boy for her.He looks amazing, Lauren did SUCH a good job, I was so happy, and I can tell Bodhi feels so much better too!

PetSmart is our go to for all of our cat related needs. We have a cat license as a cat rescue, so it is important we get good pricing on these products. PetSmart regularly has sales, so this is great for us.

Very big pet store carries everything you will need for your family pet. They have criters you xan buy and take home vet services and rescue animal adoption I get so incredibly sad every time I go in there and see those poor kitty cats stuck in their little display box sleeping bored to death I wish I could take every single one back home with me so please if you have ever considered getting a pet please please go and get one of those poor cats especially the older ones as they end up being passed over for younger kitties they will be so happy and along with me extremely thankful. So I hope there's a day when I go there and all those little display boxes are empty and stay that way...

Leaving a 1 star for the grooming department. I called ahead as a courtesy call that I was running late because of multiple accidents on the way there. I got there 3 minutes after the “grace period” and got denied because I was a few minutes late. I’ve always tipped my stylists well and chose pet smart for my services but a $150 dollar grooming appointment plus a nice tip is business they lost over a few minutes is bad business. Just support small business owners who won’t trip over a customer running late due to circumstances out of my control.

Do not book at this location. Took time off work in the morning to drop my dog off and waited almost half an hour in an empty check in area. Called the store and the store manger answered. Said they forgot to reschedule me and showed absolutely no remorse and couldn’t guarantee I could bring my dog back that day. Horrible customer service. I’ve never had this happen at the District location. They’re always on time and professional there. I’d save yourself the trouble and book at another location even if it’s a little longer of a drive.

I love all of the employees that work here at this store. Especially the always wonderful, fabulous Melanie. She always brightens my day whenever I visit. Even if it's just a basic cricket run. She's always extremely helpful and is an outstanding employee. Would recommend seeing her. She's always a delight.

Got my anxious pup’s nailed done by an incredible woman by the name Rachel. She was able to clip my pup’s claws without an issue, my pup is very anxious and refuses to let anyone clip her claws but Rachel was able to do just that all while calming my pup. She’s wonderful. I highly recommend Rachel!!

I made a pet grooming appointment and it was one minute late and they refused to take my pet. I spoke to the manager who was also useless. I highly recommend you find other grooming services for people who understand proper customer service. This place clearly doesn’t care about their customers.

Great store. The only issue I had here was the other customers. They tend to be elderly and slow. I watched one couple struggle with Tag Making machine for 25 mins. But, not the Stores fault. It was clean and cool inside. Nice

Wow. If you have any love for your pet do not bring them here for grooming. They abuse your animal. The employees are completely inexperienced and our sweet dog was cut in several places. Never again.
