I'm loving this new thing they're doing where all the employees greet you and ask you if you need help finding anything! Introverts beware... haha... and I'm an introvert! I wasn't quite sure how I felt about it at first, but it's nice! For me, it makes up for the only shortcoming they had--which is long check out wait time--but it seems so many places are shorthanded these days that that has become the norm. Decent prices, clean, stocked store. Definitely my go-to grocery store on the mountain!

The people here were incredibly nice and helpful. We were staying on the mountain for vacation in a VRBO. We didn't haul a bunch of groceries in as we knew this store was available. Surprisingly affordable for the location with a large selection of everything we could have wanted. Definitely recommend shopping here.

Ashley was extremely rude to me and her coworkers. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I feel bad for the people that have to interact with her everyday. She needs a reality check and learn some kindness. She had a tie on which was different from the other workers there so I think she may even be in management? Stater bros seriously needs to reconsider her position. She should not be working in customer service. If you’re reading this, go to Jensen’s grocery down the street-it’s worth it. They know how to treat customers and they’re fully stocked! Dear Ashley, you’re a mean person. If you’re so miserable in life, you shouldn’t take it out on strangers and your coworkers. Fix your attitude and treat people with more respect. It’s not that hard.

Fast check out line, good prices, decent selection for those of us with tummy issues, but rock solid chocolate chip cookies even though it says they’re fresh. Strawberries all have mold on them. Cashier charged me for 3 bags but I only had 2.

Gone downhill over the last two years, I’ve been had customers threaten to assault me with the current shaved head manager doing absolutely nothing after having witnessed it in the check lanes.With the selection of products being typically out of stock or melting in their freezers it may be time to start taking my shopping elsewhere until they get some of these issues sorted out.Great selection of different products.Also has a excellent gluten free selection.Could use more cashiers as they regularly get backed up due to vacation seasons.Update: Well you could replace that guy that did nothing. Last I saw he still works here.And instead of stocking the heck out of every brand of chip that doesn’t sell out maybe increase how much you stock of the ones that remain constantly sold out.Lastly the lady who tells people where to go stand in line would be more useful helping to reduce the length of the lines by aiding as a cashier. They do nothing but cause confusion and place others ahead of others that are already in line.

I haven't had any bad experiences there. Employees have always been friendly. Large store with a good variety of items. Can get crazy busy on weekends and tourist windows. Be prepared for no parking and long lines. They do the best they can with the masses.

Ellie was my cashier… normally the cashier is supposed to greet the customer but she did not, so then I greeted her and she did not respond but then was quick to tell me that I had more than 15 items…(actually had 19). So I told her okay let me get this right … you don’t greet me but even when I greet you but you are quick to tell me thatI am over my 15 items… super rude !!! I know SB won’t lose money because of me but I will go elsewhere for my groceries… cannot deal with bad customer service .

I love this Stater Brothers. I'm here all the time. The employees are really nice ,helpful. The produce is fresh and good. The have a Bomb deli too. The meat department has really good cuts of Salmon , Catfish and steaks. They have clean restrooms also. It can get crowded there in the summer time. People come in Town for events . I have been there in the morning hours. No one is there. The post office is next store too. There is also a CVS in the same parking lot.

A very well run Market with polite and caring people. Excellent selections in every Department. Outstanding meet Department as always and an entire area dedicated to fresh fruit chopped as you watch. If you're visiting the lower Village just park up by Stater Brothers and take the elevator down and do your shopping before you get back to your location, very Central to everything.

Great prices on meat as a rule, and very fresh produce. Best prices on fried chicken in town and tasty too. They sell a ton of it, so it is always fresh. Some unique baked goods as well, fresh cakes. You can often find those "hard to find" items here, in stock.

BEST prices on the mountain!!!! GOOD selection (most of the time)!!!! GOOD service!!!! Employees always kind to help you find a particular item. Sometimes not enough cashiers to accommodate the # of customers, especially on or prior to busy holiday weekends. But overall, we THANK GOD for Staters in Lake Arrowhead Village!!!!

I had a very unpleasant experience at the Stater Brothers in Lake Arrowhead. I’ve been shopping there for over 20 years and have always been happy with the service however, after being sick the past few weeks I stopped by to get a large bag of dog food. I asked the cashier(who was very sweet) if someone could help me load the bag into my car. A woman by the name of Ashley walked by and after the cashier asked her if she could help me Ashley said “We don’t do that here” and kept walking. I was pretty upset and asked for a manager. The cashier then said “That is the manager” Lucky for me the kind gentleman behind me in line loaded the dog food into my car.

Sean noticed that there wasn’t any kale left in produce when we were looking and found us some from in back. It may sound silly, if it’s the small acts like this that keep the mountain special. I’m just really glad to see kind, caring employees like this.

This staters has great customer service. Not like there are many alternatives to choose from but this place does a good job. *2019 update* it's been 3 years from my previous review and unfortunately the service isn't as good as it used to be. 2024 update, customer service is back to great, very crowded lately though.

Everyone at stater Brothers is awesome..... From the manager's, to the courtesy clerks, they're all friendly and kind!! It does get extremely crowded in here at certain times of the day and week, but it's home, and I know when to go to avoid the rush and the crowds!!

I live in Crestline and after the last record snow storms hit and wiped out one of our only two grocery stores I go to Stater Bros, but even before that I went to Stater's cause of their great prices and awesome staff. Great store for everybody! Thanks for being there for us!

Very well stocked! All the necessities are neatly laid out, with friendly associates available nearby to help. Prices were very fair, considering the location, and they have house brands that are even more affordable. We were able to find everything we were looking for. Only department that looked slightly bare was the bakery but that likely was due to the time of day when we visited.

Crestline neighbors and I lost our go to supermarket about a week ago due to roof collapsing under the weight of snow. Stater Bros became our new supermarket because of location/distance. It has a wonderful selection of foods and all with affordable prices. I'm happy that we found an amazing replacement for our supermarket goods.
