I recently visited Orchard Nursery for their Christmas Tree ornaments sale, and I must say, it was an absolutely enchanting experience! From the moment I stepped in, the festive atmosphere captivated me. The place was adorned with twinkling lights and charming decorations, creating a winter wonderland right out of a storybook.The variety of ornaments available was truly astounding. It felt like they had an ornament for every conceivable theme and interest, making it a perfect spot for personalized gifts. I was particularly impressed with the quality and creativity of each ornament – they’re not just decorations; they’re little works of art.The staff at Orchard Nursery added to the delightful experience. They were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help with a smile. This is one of the best nurseries I’ve been to. They have a large and beautiful selection of products for fair prices, though of course it’s not as cheap as Home Depot. But I prefer shopping local and supporting our small businesses so don’t mind paying the higher price. This place is also way more than just plants. Their festive decorations (especially Christmas…omg, you will never see such a collection of ornaments and bedecked trees in one room!) are astounding and creative. I love everything about this place and make an occasion of going here.

This is located in Lafayette. My cousin brought me here to look for a plant unfortunately they were sold out of the item. But, this nursery is so beautiful. It almost looks like someone’s property (maybe it is or was) I don’t know. But it looks very homie, very welcoming! They have tons of indoor and outdoor decorations. They definitely have a collection of plants and pottery. Thought some might say it’s pricey. But, it’s worth a visit.I maybe saw one or two staff personnel and they were very nice. And they have a restroom available for customer, that is a plus!

Great Nursery w/ high quality plants at various container sizes (from 6-pack annuals/veggies to beautiful specimen trees (24" box), where lots of plants are supplied by Monrovua Nursery, and the quality us worth the extra costs for planting.Highly Recommended East Bay Nursery

**Late review- visited in Early August, 2021** when driving into the facility I literally remember being slightly dumbfounded by the sheer size of this nursery. I think I honestly spent 2-3 hours just browsing every area. If you’re into traditional flower gardens- check, vegetables- check, all kinds of trees- check, roses-check, California natives-check, whole giant succulent corner- check, tropical plants and a pond with turtles-check, oh and did I mention the giant indoor plant section that literally looks like a jungle and is so dense with plants you can hardly tell where plants begin and end- yeah they have that too. but wait there’s more: cute home decor, a separate cottage with other slightly upscale home goods, then you tack on the massive selection of pottery both ceramic glazed and terra cotta plus some really awesome looking other pieces in almost and size, color, shape, texture or material you could want. They also have a decent (from what I know and could tell) selection of Japanese style trees and plants. I died and went to heaven. And I’ll be back for sure!

Best selection of plants, trees, herbs, vegetables and flowers in probably the entire bay area. The employees are all very knowledgeable, and if they can't answer your questions, they will call someone who can answer your question! Also carry various soil, fertilizer, mulch etc. Ample parking. My favorite time of the year is their harvest festival in October. They have goats & chickens on-site and plenty to see and do for all ages. More than just a nursery.

Absolutely Stunning! The plants are always healthy and I really enjoy the entire place. Every season they decorate according to the holiday and it's always so perfect. Plus they have a really cool cat statue!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their nursery carries indoor and outdoor plants and veggies. Pottery and other hardware tools also sold here at the Lazy K shop. Always stocked, but it can get busy during the planting season. Dog friendly!

Easy to get to?Yep! You can just drive in and grab a cart!We’re the staff nice?Super nice-and helpful! I wanted to know if they had a certain type of plant, and they lead my right to them!How was the price?Pretty expensive-but then again most plants are nowadays.Anything worthwhile near?Kind of. It’s pretty close to downtown Lafayette, so you could have lunch there and then go to the nursery.Is it safe to go during COVID?I’d say yes. The nursery is mostly outside and there were signs everywhere saying that you must wear masks.How was it overall?Really nice. We were so happy to find dwarf meyer lemon trees that students could plant on our charity farm the CoCo San Sustainable Farm in Martinez as part of a De LaSalle biology class hands-on experience. Orchard Nursery was the only nursery in Lamorinda that carried them. We always trust the quality of Orchard Nursery and we were not disappointed.

Gorgeous full service location. From trees to ground cover. From sun to shade foliage. From sacks of fertilizer to windchimes. From gorilla grass to wine barrels. We were exhausted before we ran out of what-if plans for our yard renovation exploring here. Very impressed with the kindnesses of the staff, their knowledge of plants/pests/feed, and their eagerness/speediness to support us with our carry-out/load-out. Much appreciated! My husband and I are thrilled that we worked with Laura Vance at the Orchard Nursery and Florist in Lafayette on the floral arrangements for our wedding day! She has amazing energy and is genuinely excited to work with newly engaged couples. We met with her at Orchard to take a look at the flowers she suggested, which went perfectly with our romantic garden venue. She was very creative in working with texture and color to make a simple and elegant flower arrangement, which is just what we wanted. My breath was taken away by the beauty of the draped flowers on the arbor and she matched our concept of short centerpieces with soft colored flowers. Our wedding party also loved the stunning flower choices of the bouquets, boutonnieres, and wristlets. She also thoughtfully asked if we would like touches of different flowers for the best man and maid of honor and she created the most darling flower girl crown for our 11 month old flower girl. These exquisite flowers brought that romantic feel to our wedding day. Laura was well prepared, on time, and worked seamlessly with the other vendors to get the flowers arranged perfectly. Although we were very busy before the wedding trying to make sure everything was set up correctly, Laura was one person who needed no instruction. She was quick and professional and the results were stunning. We are incredibly thankful to her and the Orchard Nursery and Florist staff for making our day beautiful!

Nice store with a wide variety of plants for sale. Was a little disappointed in the pots for sale. Was hoping the variety there would match their variety in plants, but it did not. They had some really cute goat lawn ornaments tho.

A great local nursery with knowledgeable staff and family owned. A good place for shrubs, 4" and 6- pack annual and perennials also. The nursery also has a lovely collection of pots and garden art. Almost 20 years later, this is still my "Disneyland".

This is one of my favorite places, I am a little sad that the little house next to the orchard got sold to new owners, the place lost its unique charm, the old owner made the shop worth looking into, had such unique and truly beautiful art pieces for all the holidays, the new owners are sweet but the shop was stripped of its life and value/history, the orchard nursery on the other hand has always been a charming place especially during the holidays, specifically Christmas and Halloween, all the trees decorated in different ways and styles, it always amazes me every year and all the unique and beautiful items on every holiday is what keeps customers wanting to come back and buy, truly such a charming and beautiful place!

We always love going to the nursery! Their selection of plants, both indoor and outdoor, is fantastic! While with any independent nursery the prices are going to be a bit more, they are worth it!If you follow them on Instagram you'll find yourself visiting almost every weekend! They are always getting new pots and plants in! The little shop also is always getting fun things for your home in!The best part is that they are pet friendly and always go out of their way to say hi to your fur friends!

The staff is also very helpful always willing to inform you about the plants and even how to best take care of them. Definitely the place to go if you are looking to purchase plants or garden supplies.

Flowers and succulents that live well throughout the season. Friendly staff and good parking. A trailer maybe a hard fit but the upper yard will fit a pull through. Quality from the nursery and the Lazy k gift shop. Always fun to be enchanted and take an arm full home with you. Happy Holidays!
