I have had numerous problems with the Orinda CVS regarding milk availability and quality. I have mentioned this many times both online and to store management. The availability has improved markedly, but the quality has not. When I complained to a manager, he said "we've had no problems with spoiled milk".This is very hard to believe given the number of times I've had, and two people I know have also had) unacceptable milk. One of my friends returned her milk and was told by the cashier that there was nothing wrong with the milk....she smelled it. It wasn't until my friend showed a picture of the milk in a glass with curds floating in the milk that she was allowed to return the milk for a credit. This was done in a grudging and disrespectful manner.Something should be done about monitoring the milk refrigerator temperature, along with periodic sampling of the milk quality. If your manager drinks milk, have him or her take some home and see, smell and taste for themselves.My experience with seemingly rude and uncaring staff and management, especially regarding milk issues, will cause me to patronize the Lafayette store instead of my hometown (Orinda) store.

I've been to this store two times, the second time I came was at 950pm since it says online they close at 11pm, that is wrong. They close at 10pm. The first time I had ever been to this store they treated me as if I were a criminal. I had been shopping at Safeway right before I went to this location and I had a reusable shopping bag, better for the environment. Not only did the male worker literally follow me around but he kept looking in my bag and when I went to check out at self checkout, he helped himself to checking me out,at self checkout. And the best part is, right next to me was an older lady using self checkout and he didn't even look her direction. I love CVS just not this one.

This is an amazing CVS pharmacy. A+++I’m a doctor and I work with a lot of pharmacies but this is the best. I left VM for my patient who had COPD exacerbation. The pharmacist called me back within minutes to clarify the prescription. She was extremely professional and helpful. Again I work with a lot of pharmacies and this was the best experience I had. My patient is happy and will have the meds he urgently needs. 100% recommend.

The gentleman that helped my boyfriend and I this evening that checked us out was and is always extremely helpful and very friendly. He always reminds us about the monthly savings by being the loyalty rewards Cvs member thing you sign up for with your number and goes over each item what we saved. Very thorough and makes sure we see what great savings. We saved $17 $10 of which was my $10 off a month I get on or after the 4th every month so he explained. He is always so patient I’ve checked out with him a few times before during very busy times during the day and no matter how busy it gets he always makes you feel acknowledged and important not rushed. We need more customer service people like him in this world. So much of it has been lost it’s nice when you meet people who care and value there job you can tell when they do.

I bought a pack of acne pack and there was nothing inside. It scammed me for $12. Very annoying experience. I have also had experiences in the past where the lipstick I bought was used before. It's really annoying

They used to be great but for the last 2 or 3 months the pharmacy has not been answering their phone. Now, once again, I must drive over 100 miles one way to see if they have my prescription. And why, you ask, don't I just get the prescription transferred? Well, this location is the only one that can seem to get it. Very confused myself. But nonetheless....PHARMACY. ...PLEASE ANSWER YOUR PHONE AND HELP YOUR ONCE LOYAL CUSTOMERS!

This pharmacy is grossly understaffed. I just waited on hold for 43 minutes to talk to the pharmacist for a discrepancy in a prescription that should have been noticed by the pharmacist. There is often only one cashier. CVS, you are letting profits get in the way of providing essential pharmacy services.

Just finished shopping at CVS. I shop and use the pharmacy out of habit. The people are generally polite, but the service experience is often bad as they often are short checkers for the crowd, and do not have people on the floor to answer questions or open locked cabinets.. But this time, the checkout was slow and the checker was overtly snide and rude. Though I think he lacks self awareness and and is clueless to customer experience. While I was checking out, I mentioned to Robert that I was going to check my email for a coupon. At that time he said, "there is a line". I was well aware that there was a line, as I waited in it too long and now was faced with a snotty checker. I asked if he was telling me to hurry up. He said yes, and it can take two minutes for a coupon to process, and I should have downloaded my coupon before I got to checkout. I am very efficient at checkout - we were having this conversation as he was still scanning my items. At this point I was over Robert and the experience. My first thought was that I need t make CVS aware that they have this person in a customer facing role because I am reconsidering my habit of shopping at CVS, when I am told by a checker that I can't use a coupon because there is a line... that I just waited in too long.

Picked up a Rx in the back. The clerk was friendly and quick, there was very little wait time. I asked where and item was located and they took me right to the isle and discussed which products was best for my needs. Store and bathroom are clean and well organized. I had to check the plants before I left.

Terrible pharmacy. Nothing but rude employees who don’t care if you’re suffering. When I attempted to inquire why my cough medicine wasn’t filled I was told first that there wasn’t a prescription for me. Secondly when I called back again I was given some bogus answer and was then hung up on! How’s that for professional CVS! Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Personally, I am not mad at the pharmacy staff for being too busy to answer the phone. It's a real shame for the person who calls and can't get the info they need. From what I've seen there's enough frustration to share. It's like this at a lot of the CVS I've filled prescriptions at. They have it coming from every angle: drive thru, phone, and counter. At the CVS pharmacies I've been to they run around like crazy, except for the Target CVS, they have seemed less crazy. The people working at this Lafayette CVS pharmacy have been very nice. I had no issue. It's a corporate issue that they're too busy. Don't blame the staff is my opinion.

They need a sign that says IF YOU HAVE COVID, STAY OUTSIDE AND WE WILL BRING YOUR PRESCRIPTION TO YOU OUTSIDE. and put it on the AUTO PHONE message when you call the Pharmacy! DUH!!!!!A woman was standing in line exposing everyone to COVID! How do we not know to stay out of buildings when you have Covid????????????????????????

Honestly, is this some kind of joke? I never rate businesses but since I have the same experience every time I speak with one of the staff members in the pharmacy I really should. This one staff member is always so condescending and rude! I am a very easy customer to deal with but she still makes it seem like I’m a total idiot. The rest of the staff are wonderful. But how is this one mean lady since employed here???

Has large selection and most staff are helpful and kind while one followed me around store asking if he can help me when I have less then ten minutes to shop because the store hours were incorrect on Google saying to close at 11:00 when they close at 10:00 and follow me around asking me that really slow me down from trying to get my shopping done and as little time as possible it's really unfortunate when you're constantly profile because of your appearance because the tattoos I have he got the employee that follow me around would be extremely upset it's the same thing happened to him being African American so I don't understand why you do that to somebody else

I was in CA for a month visiting family and needed to have a medication transferred and filled from my home state. They said "we don't really do that." I went to Walgreens across the street and they did it without an issue. If I could give zero stars, I would.
