This Merritt's Ace Hardware Store has been in business for a very long time on that particular corner in La Puente. It is a huge hardware store with a lot of aisles full of products, like a one-stop shopping experience!I was searching for a home product that was difficult to find (had already been to 5 other home goods-type stores, could not find my product at any of these 5 different stores! 😣).When you walked into this store, service were so organized, friendly, helpful, and professional:Someone to greet you, ask what you might be looking for, they then call the staff member in that section to help you. Product was not on shelf so I was sent to the office and the staff member looked up the product right away, saw that there were supposed to have some of this product still in stock.Called staff over, everyone double checked the dates shipment came in, and they changed the researched product in the system since they duscovered store had sold out, wrote up form to stock shelves again per (I presume) manager's OK, and ordered quick product request for me to pick up by next store shipment date (no shipping charges, just paid for the product). They will call me when the order comes in.I was given a ticket and they wrote up receipt after product was prepaid by me, along with a free rewards card so I can gain points for my purchases there; will also get coupons to use there for future use.Such organization! Such service! Awesome!

I love walking into this store, there is really almost everything I need for our home. They have a locksmith machine for copying keys and a machine to sharpen kitchen knives, at a very reasonable price. What can I say Ace hardware store has it all! And the service it's employees gives makes this little store a great one to visit.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the 2 cashiers. I was looking for a specific filter and the employee that was stocking knew exactly where the product was and what shelf it was on. Talk about better service then the bigger chains.... thank u

I prefer coming to this store specifically Because everybody here is super friendly and knowledgeable. I come here every so often and always gotten the best service. From the barbecue section all the way down to gardening. The last few times I have came in I had the pleasure of having Nicole assist me at the counter and inform me of other things that they offer. I Will definitely bring in my knives next time to be sharpened. I definitely appreciate this store more than the big name stores. To all the staff in each department that has insisted me thank you

A good olefashioned hardware store. Many friendly, helpful staff. I purchased a heavy duty garden hose, dark green, for my trailer maceration system. Dark green. No mistakes. We took our neighbor who purchased a large AC return register. They have a purchase desk and BBQ accessories.Go see the Christmas display during the season.

On Thursday 7-6-23 I went to ACE to drop off my screen door frame to get it rescreened. They took measurements and i asked them to please make sure they didn't warp my frame because I've had other screens fixed by them with that problem. The person helping me wrote done this instruction on the receipt. I was instructed to pay first then come back the following day to pick it up. The next day 7-7-23 I went to pick it up at 5:30pm and it wasn't ready. One of the workers was trying to rush to rescreen it , but I notified them not to because I wanted them to take there time so the screen can come out correctly. I went to pick it up the following day again 7-8-23 it was ready this time. We took it home and unfortunately the frame wasn't fitting my screen door because they gave me back a warped rescreened frame. I took it back explained the problem, the person was writing a new order receipt and called his manager to get an approval. The manager MARK RIVAS came very aggressive, defensive and very rude telling us we brought the frame warped. As much as I kept telling him it wasn't warped when we brought it MARK RIVAS wasn't listening. He claimed he rescreened it himself and so he said I'm going to return your money back. He took off the screen he claimed to have put on himself and as soon as he took it off my frame, I had a straight frame again. I told him to look at my straight frame. He stood quiet and looked dumb founded because he knew he was wrong as soon as he saw my frame straight and not warped like he claimed it was. He also got offended when I told him to look at it again and he replied "oh you're just trying to rub it in my nose ". He is very unprofessional. He has poor management skills.

Some times I go to Merritt's Ace Hardware because it's close to my address, but It's not the first time they don't honor their cupóns ..I feel like I being cheated...Today I just left the items on the counter and walked out..

Surprisingly large location but not intimidating like a Home Depot or Lowes. Helpful, knowledgeable staff that saved us money by showing us to a small replacement piece we needed instead of having to replace the entire faucet. Will definitely return.

Truly still one of a kind hardware stores around. I really enjoy coming to this location because you can still find all kinds of nick nacks that you cant find at other hardware locations such as Home Depot, and Lowes. This place has everything to meet your handy man needs. Highly recommend coming here if your looking for hard to find items not in other locations.

This ace hardware store is terrible the manager said the customer is wrong when I came to turn in a trimmer that wasn't functioning right.the manager insisted me the customer was wrong and rejected my return. I'm guessing Because I'm Mexican.

The store is big. We got help immediately after we entered the store. Every staff are willing and prepared to help.Went to the plumbing session. The dude was friendly and helpful. We cannot find some of the parts we needed. He even recommended another store that he knows that may have it. Cool!

The store is huge compared to other Ace Hardware locations. The staff could be a bit more friendly. The downside to this was the return policy. I was looking to buy an AC and was told I could not return it once the box was open.. They could not open the box to see the dimensions, and it was the only unit they had of that brand and size.

Came by today for a few hex bolts and drill bits for my hammer drill. They had everything I needed plus the things I didn’t know I needed. I really appreciated the customer service, that really won me over with ace. Thank you!

Went in to purchase some paint for furniture and wasn't sure of which kind worked best. The girl that help me was awesome! Super friendly and very knowledgeable unfortunately I forgot her name. She explained the different kinds they had available and answered all my questions. Will definitely be going again! (Added a photo of purchase paint)
