Been coming here for years and I love the variety of aquatic pets they have and price. They always make sure they give you a good quality fish before you leave the store if a fish is sick they won’t risk giving you the pet. Every fish I get from them always survive

Nice variety of fish here and reptiles and birds. They got cheaper priced shrimp too. Will be buying them from here. I usually get shrimp from Amazon, but this place is local so I won't have to wait for delivery and price is better.

This is a little family owned pet store. I love it. I have two pet rats that I bought here as babies, now they're grown and they are so sweet and full of personality. I buy all their food and bedding plus accessories for their cages. This place has all kinds of things and live animals. Rats, mice, hamsters, Guinea pigs, parakeets, baby turkeys, snakes, tarantulas, frogs, fish, etc. Staff is friendly, so helpful and very knowledgeable.

One of the best freshwater selections in the San Gabriel Valley. I’ve posted some pictures to try and reflect that. I’ve been a customer here since 1994, under the same owners.Pat and Mas are the co-owners, and they are very nice ladies. Jacky is one of the workers, and is a very cool guy once you get I know him.The SW section is a bit sparse, but again, the FW section is one of the best I’ve seen. They also carry koi and fancy goldfish, as well as birds, small rodents.Prices for tanks, cages and assorted feed and equipment are competitive, since they are not in an area with crazy rent.I definitely recommend Hacienda Aquatics and continue to be a loyal customer!

The fish are colorfull and really cheap, they clean when they see dead fish and tell tips on how to take care of the fish for beginners.

Sold me dead Nerite snails that had the most putrid smell I'm surprised the man who bagged them didn't notice. Good thing I quarantined them in a cup before adding to my tank or it would have spoiled the whole thing with it's smell. Giving a 2 because of their quality plants but the fish are subpar. The smell still hasn't left my hands. Hoping to return for a refund.

I bought a bird and it died the next day I went back and they gave me another bird the next day that bird started to fall off the stick and died the following day I went to another pet shop bought me another bird and it's Ben alive for over a month

Over priced. They think everyone is stupid and that they won't notice their prices are usually 4X what you can buy the exact same product for elsewhere. On a positive note, they have lots of fish in a wide variety. But bring a fully stocked pocket book or wallet. You'll need it.

This store has a good selection for fish, reptiles, birds, and plants. Once you walk into the store, it stinks, and is very humid, which is very disgusting. The staff are nice, and try their best to help you, however the supplies seem to be covered in dust and spider webs, most likely because the items are too overpriced. This is a decent store, and I only like to come here when I want some live foods like black worms. This is a good store in general, but the only thing it lacks is good air quality and reasonably items.

Been 4 or 5 years since i bought our first fish just the cheap ones. But they have a lot of varieties and expensive species if you want. Easy to deal with staff and owner.

I've been going here for almost 15 years. They've always been friendly to me and very helpful. I have had many questions answered, even though I have been keeping tropical fish and birds since 1984.People should understand that the main guy working there is deaf. Have patience because he reads lips. If you mumble, talk to his back, or speed-talk at him, he can't hear or understand you.They will special order anything you need, sometimes they will ask for a deposit if it's an expensive item.The store is incredibly hot in the summer because of all the aquarium heaters and the high humidity from all the water.All in all I love the people and this place, and I will continue to go there for years to come.
