I waited a month for appointment for my shi h Tzu's full grooming. I told Garrett(owner) to have my dog's face trimmed close,so it would be easier to keep clean after eating,etc. Amanda the groomer was yelling when I arrived and saying she was tired and didn't want to groom any more dogs. After almost 2 hrs my dog was still in back room after bath! The grooming by Amanda,was fast and obviously very sloppy and unprofessional. My dog's face was not trimmed, as I had asked, his ears not cleaned, his paws not trimmed and his abdomen not trimmed either. This visit cost me $105, plus $140 for a dog sitter at home for my other 2 dogs.Upsetting, awful experience for my poor dog and myself!

I had the most pawsome experience with this grooming company! They were absolutely amazing! 🐾 The staff was super friendly and made my golden doodle feel right at home. They really knew what they were doing and paid great attention to detail. My pup came out looking like a total superstar! I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. I would definitely recommend them to every pet parent out there. Trust me, your fur baby will thank you! 🐶

Been here 2x. Both time’s excellent customer service & grooming treatment. Easy to schedule with a happy staff. Very professional and nice people working here that are good listeners and did the cut perfectly both times! Will definitely be making this our new go-to for grooming. Prices are fair. And they’re fast! Our pup was washed, trimmed and done in an hour! Here he is ready to rock on!

First time getting my cat groomed, I was worried he may not be able to get through it, but they managed to do everything exactly how I wanted. They cared for him and made sure he was safe throughout. Super impressed and will definitely be bringing him back!

This is a well-organized service with a cute, dog-friendly decor. The environment is calming for dogs, and there are friendly, experienced groomers. Garrett was awesome with our doggo, who can tend to be anxious during grooming. Instead, our dog seemed calm and happy at pick-up! Happy to find this place so close to home!

Good customer service is hard to find these days, but La Jolla Grooming Company is an exception. Garrett and Brenda made my pup feel very comfortable during his first self wash. They were incredibly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend LJ Grooming Co. and I will definitely be using them in the future!

This is a great place! Garrett is a real dog lover and has a full concept of making sure your dog is comfortable and happy. He only takes a few dogs at a time, never has them crated and makes sure they listen to chill music and watch DogTV while getting groomed. Knowing how much my dog hates going to the groomer, I certainly appreciate someone going the extra mile to keep our furry kids happy and relaxed.

They did a phenomenal job with grooming and are super nice to boot. My shih tzu is usually very nervous at the groomers and was a bit anxious when we arrived but Garrett did an awesome job with him! Super kind people and you can tell they love the animals they work with!

From the moment you walk in, you can tell Garrett loves dogs. His space is very clean, calming and bright. He is so loving and caring towards the animals. And he is a great groomer. Amazing service. We have a standard poodle which is hard to have a nice hair cut and let me tell you they Delivered! Jennagail did an amazing job and the owners are so kind and so nice. Overall experience was 10/10 and I will definitely come back here. Thank you so much guys.

I recently rescued an extremely large Great Dane who is lovely but needed a good bath after spending quite some time in a shelter. I originally wanted to take Winnie there to do the self-wash because I didn’t want him to feel overwhelmed. I arrived at 4:30pm-ish. Garret didn’t think Winnie would fit in the self-wash tub so very kindly offered to bath Winnie in the other one even though they were due to close at 5pm. He let me stay with Winnie because I didn’t want him to get stressed by a new experience. Garret was so kind and gentle with him and he looks and smells amazing! I should imagine it would be somewhat intimidating to most people to bath a Great Dane let alone trim their nails! I am so happy that we have found a great place for Winnie to be groomed. Thank you for your kindness and compassion, Garret, you made it such a positive experience for us. See you soon! Emma + Winnie.

My dog Binx and I were treated like royalty at La Jolla Grooming. After a day at the beach he went in looking all matty and scruffy. After being a wash and being pampered, he looks like a show dog. Well maybe not a show dog. He's still just a Patterdale Terrier mix. Let's just say he's never looked better. Thanks LJ Grooming.
