Austin and Coral literally made the experience here as if we were at a luxurious hotel for my dog offering coffee and sparkling water. They have high quality food, treats and toys. The futuristic self wash is the most breathtaking experience ever. Everyone is very personable and informative that REALLY care! When taking your unconditional loving furry family member - you want to take care of them. LOVE this place. Highly recommend the memberships! Saves lots of money

Our princess is not used to grooming, and the only groomer who can handle her is 1,367 miles away. Other grooming place gave up on her. However, Aspens Dog House groomers were so kind and listen to our concerns and her experiences. All staff were so friendly and made her pretty princess! We spend only 6 months here in SD, but definitely we will be back here in Fall. Finally we found another groomers can handle our precious princess. Thank you!

Probably the most boujee dog store you’ll find. I went in for a treat to help convince the homie to do his business in the rain. We were waiting for Snooze next door.The store has a sweet selection of dog jackets and sweaters. I ended up getting what looks like a custom fitted jacket harness thing. It wasn’t cheap but he loves it.Austin helped me out a lot and let us try on a bunch of different things. The staff here is amazing. He made the sale happen simply by taking care of us. Goose got a lot of treats.Tiffany dog bowls for water. That’s what we’re working with here. The store has a wide variety of food that’s better than what I usually eat. There’s also a dog wash but it’s called a Dog Spa.Just don’t forget that credit card!

Amazing dog store!!! Been open for a few months and ever since never been to a different store. Austin and Spencer are always so helpful with helping choose dog food that would be good for my pup! + the claw machine is the best!!! Love this store

Beautiful new dog shop with great products and excellent customer service. I got my dog an adorable bucket of fried chicken and some treats for Christmas. The quality of his toy was much better than what you would find at a chain store. They also have great coffee there from three legged coffee roasters. The dog wash station looked fantastic and would be convenient. If you have a pup, you must check it out

I was sad to move to a new part of town because I was so close to my local pet shop in PB and then I found Aspens! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, I’ve never walked in without at least 4 people saying hi and asking how they can help. I recently got both my dogs groomed there and they look and smell fantastic! I’ll be back again and again because their selection is great and there is a self service dog wash!

If you're a dog lover, then prepare to have your mind blown. Aspen's Dog House opened yesterday in La Jolla, and it just redefined what a pet store can and should be -- raising the bar considerably.My wife and I were over at the Shops at La Jolla Village to pick up a couple coffees at Philz and we noticed that Aspen's just opened. Decided to stop by and take a look.Aspen's is a high-end, dog-centric pet store with an amazing variety of things -- food, treats, gear (leashes, collars, etc), toys, shampoo and grooming stuff, and much much more. When we walked in, we were greeted by Cody, who is super knowledgeable and friendly. He offered to give us a tour of the store and we happily accepted.High points of the tour were the digital selfie screen near the front door, the arcade claw toy machine next to that (everyone who buys something gets a token to use it), the $40,000 state-of-the-art Dutch dog wash machine in the back, and the one-way glass porthole where you can watch your dog being worked on by Aspen's groomers. Oh. And Aspen's carries my friend Dr. Marty's excellent dog food. Fabulous!Long story short, if you own a dog -- or if you know someone who owns a dog -- you MUST go to Aspen's Dog House. Now.

The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and genuine. The dog wash is like none other that I have seen before. The claw machine is a MUST especially if you see what I see! Highly recommend for your furry loved ones

I was really excited about a self serve dog wash so close to my home, but alas it has a 20 minute limit. Which I guess would work for a small beagle or something. But it doesn’t work for me. Also the lead is only on one side of the doggy bath, so I can only wash the right side of my dog. So at the end of our session my dog was still very, very wet and who knows what happened over on her left side. Overall a disappointing result for $25.Staff was super friendly and kind. Very clean and nice place. They just cater to the under 25lb short haired crowd.

great first experience! the staff was super friendly and attending to our needs and they were overall very nice and attentive. they explained how the self wash worked and how to book appts. and the token for the claw machine was super cute! so glad they carry California Dog Kitchen!

What a great store this is. I was pleasantly surprised by this place when we visited La Jolla, over Easter weekend. We forgot our dog's food and found so many high quality selections in this beautiful store. The people working were very helpful to us and are definitely dog lovers. The store also stocks so many high quality dog toys, dog beds and other accessories such as leashes and collars. There is a huge selection of amazing fresh (and beautiful) dog treats also. I cannot say enough about this store and will definitely stop by on our next trip. Check it out and bring your dog; they seem to be welcome. When I visited there were many accompanying their owners.

My large poodle mix had a terrific groom experience at Aspen’s today. The groomer did a great job! Our dog will be back for sure for his next groom. He looks adorable. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely store with quality merchandise!

What a lovely experience! I brought my 4 month old puppy in for a self wash after passing this place a few times. I was immediately greeted by very friendly staff who showed me how to use the self wash. They even offered me a coffee! The wash was very easy and the celebrity voice was super fun!! The wash does not have any smells or fragrances to it, but at the end they have plenty of sprays to make your dog smell lovely.The store itself is very clean, organized nicely and just overall really bright and pretty!! At the end, I was given a token to try to win a toy from their claw machine filled with unique things!Austin and Leza were the two who assisted me during my visit and both very professional and friendly!!If you’re looking for a new dog store with washing capabilities this is the place to go!! 10/10 recommend!!!

My two year old poodle mix had never been professionally groomed before since I did the grooming at home. Unfortunately, I had to leave her for three months under the care of my parents and unsurprisingly she got matted.She also tends to be nervous around strangers, but April Hernandez at Aspen Dog House did a great job with her. I was surprised my dog behaved while being taken cared of. Thank you!
