Quality of the livestock is TBD, but 5/5 for customer service. They called me about one of my auction items to tell me that the one from the auction got damaged & that she would be sending a nicer frag of the same type plus a freebie. Super nice and friendly about it!

Scored big at Cali Kid Corals!!! Ben and the whole team were amazing! I was traveling and wasn’t going to be able to stop during normal business hours so they were happy to open up early for me.On top of the customer experience, the quality and selection of coral is amazing! While he does not carry cheap coral, everything is an incredible value!I can promise you will leave happy and with some incredible must have pieces!

This store has beautiful specimen pieces that are rare inside out as well as many beginner corals. The staff Kaz and Sarah are very knowledgeable and helpful the owners are lucky to have Caz managing the store. My wife and I travel all over to see different LFS and this one is definitely on the top of our list. We acquired a beautiful torch of the gods it will certainly be the centerpiece of our tank. Great service!! Ben and his crew always helpful, the best part they never judge your experience or undermine you knowledge. One thing I can really say is that if your not ready, and or experience enough, Ben won't sell it to you. He would rather you help you in establishing the correct parameters, and have you come back. But at the end of the day I can guarantee your not walking out empty handed either with a nice coral or knowledge.

Lots of really nice coral - and they can cut smaller frags to match your needs. They can also help special order fish if you're looking for something in particular. Worth a stop for sure!

I was finally in the area and I was able to stop by and check it out. Absolutely, breathtaking! ALL their corals were in such good health! I They had a beautiful Acantho front and center that was gorgeous! Their 900g system was humongous! I wanted to grab one of their leathers, but I didn't get any purchases approved by my accountant (my wife) that day. They welcomed me in. They answered all my questions. Their customer service was amazing! Looking forward to getting a leather from them for Christmas this year!

Had a great experience ordering from Cali kid! they have an awesome selection of great looking corals, the communication when ordering is perfect! You get the soonest date possible for shipping. You get emails on every thing you need to know and the packaging did not lack anything. My corals came in cups and double bagged. I definitely recommend their service if you want to adopt some coral. Thank you guys for the great experience and I hope more people get to experience it as well!

What an amazing place! Upon a arriving all were extremely inviting and made me feel very welcomed. There display tanks are very well maintained and very clean. The corals are very beautiful and well cared for. The employees including the owner were very helpful. I asked many many questions and they were always happy to answer them. I didn’t get they feeling like they wanted me to stop talking. Overall a wonderful place to get corals! Definitely will be returning.

Like clockwork, my corals are delivered in perfect shape, look even better than they do in the pictures, and add a tremendous amount of color to my tank.There is not a better company, with as stellar rarity, uniqueness, and reliability as there is cali kids corals in this trade.

Ben the owner is one of the coolest guys in the industry that I’ve known that makes anyone feel welcome. Highly recommend this place. His huge display tank is a must see!!

Last Friday my brother told me about the auctions i ended purchasing a nice piece picked it up the following day. It was my first time there i was blown away by the service Ben and his staff gave me and my brother i ended up taking other pieces they have nothing but good high end corals at a good price. Drove up from San Diego to check out some coral shops and get some dinner.. was closed even though google says open now called no answer ...They replied its appointment only but it says open on google maps and no body answered the phone

Came here a couple weeks go to check this place out because two of my favorite youtubers recommend this place and it was surprisingly only 10mins way. I came with my fiance to stop by since it was on our way home to see/buy. But we got there around @2:40 so we waited in our car. When it was exactly @3 pulled on the door... locked... we rang the door bell nothing. Thought I saw movement. So we waited for a good while but the door was still locked. We both thought that maybe there's a side door because there was a hall of doors on the right side with a white gate that was locked too. Pulled on the front door one more time...then left. Will change this if we ever decide to come back.

I've only dealt with them online it has been a great online experience i place an order and what I received was my order and more. Better!! Hope everyone has the same experience. STOP BY THIS SHOP! If you’re looking for higher end coral, then this is the spot!! Ben is a great shop owner, took the time to go over some options and provided a wealth of knowledge to take in. this isn’t the best place for a beginner but if you want to take the next step from the basics check this place out!! Cheapest coral is are around 50$ Cheers Ben!

Buyer beware! Calikid was performing a live sale on their website, I attempted to purchase a mushroom for the price of $10.00 only to find out that my credit card was charged for $438.00. I immediately contacted them the live forum, to which I was told and mocked “ we’re not that generous” I immediately contacted PayPal to report the fraudulent charge, and continued trying to get proper communication through Calikid. After several email attempts , I was able to prove that the charge should have only been $10.00 but after receiving such horrible customer service and treatment I requested a full refund. I was initially told that they would agree to refund me but several days later the payment has cleared and no refund has been issued. Not only was I conned into spending $438.00 that was not authorized, But even after direct contact with the owner Ben Shapiro and his word that I would receive a full refund , he still refuses to authorize it. Buyer Beware!After I posted this review and contacted the BBB as well as PayPal, Ben finally issued a refund.To anyone who doesn’t believe feel free to consult the live sale on the forum and the time stamps. Fraudulent company !!!! Extremely sketchy! Buyers Beware! was only refunded because off BBB!

Excellent selection of corals but a little bit pricey. Would recommend to anyone who wants a unique coral or corals for their reef tank.
