Always double check receipts. Got charged twice for an item. I'll consider it charity this time. This is the only corporate store in this town, things aren't too outrageous, but helps to have the app for savings. Plenty of Parking.

Larry is the real MVP! He was a helpful delight on the phone and in store.Despite him being the only employee working and a long line of customers at his register, he was friendly and helpful to everyone.Every company needs a Larry.

I feel really bad for the staff here. I'm a local here and I know it's just as frustrating for the ones that live out here as the ones that work there to have people from the cities coming to the one store we have out here (other than the overpriced gas station next door) and clear off the shelves like its Armageddon every week when they go to their lake/camping trips. Before the pandemic happened, our town was able to make supplies last amongst us and share, when out of towners come they take everything and leave nothing but a couple bags of chips. Hey city people, you have real grocery stores, go shopping there before you go on your lake trips. Waterford dollar general has it made, they even have FRESH produce , salad and meat, its a huge difference. That is all

Very convenient to have a DG in our area. Customers leave empty handed because of out of stock inventory. Staples like milk, bread, eggs are usually out within days of being stocked. Lots of candy, chips, soda, beer. Staff are caring but almost always only one register open causing longer waiting times. These issues have been like this for a long time, corporate needs to step up and make DG better for its customers.

I like Dollar General! They have a variety of items. This store is clean, employees are polite and helpful. They have really good sales and the normal pricing is really good on most items. They even have some clothing and shoes for adults, children, and infants. And, since we are in the foothills and no grocery store within 45 minutes and we get many from others areas here camping boating and more, and for them, all you may want while away from home, Dollar General usually has.

Pricing is good. The only grocery type of store close by. The employees are really nice and helpful. The store is clean and in order. They stay open until 10pm. This Dollar General also has Milk, Butter/Margarine, Eggs, Bread, Frozen Foods and more... They have digital coupons that I really like. And now, you can place your order on their app, pay for it, then choose a convenient time to pick up your order. They sometimes have same day pick up times like, order in the morning and it's possible to pick up at about 4pm appointments if they have your time slot. But you can usually get the time and day you want.

LOVE having this here in Pedro. Great selection of items that are actually useful which is more than we've had up here in 15 years. Good prices, friendly staff and really anything you may need in between town trips besides produce and an actual selection of meat but makes life up here way more convenient. My only complaint is that there is very often a long line, they need more registers and employees working, but overall freaking amazing.

I feel so fortunate to have this store in our area. We've lived in this remote area for 30 years and always had to drive 45 minutes to and hours for anything. Now I only have to drive 3 minutes and I can get what I need. The only thing that would help us out even more? Fruits and vegetables. If the store had those items, I'd never go down to the valley. That sounds heavenly!

This store is new in our area and is a nice addition to our little community. They have a nice selection of items although the store is not very big. I do wish they had made it large enough to include the produce section. I'm not knocking it down to 4 stars based on just the fact they didn't, I'm also knocking it down for the empty shelves i have experienced far to often. I was born into the retail business my parents owned a store and from there i worked for some big named stores and i understand what it takes to keep the shelves well stocked. I also understand being a new store you don't yet know your needs and so ordering the right amount of product isn't easy, especially when inventory control is a pushed on you. But when your the store that the community counts on to have what they need, then you should have what they need. I expect this store to get better the longer they are open and i hope they listen to the needs of the consumer, time will tell so for now they definitely deserve the 4 star rating and i hope they care enough to try for the 5th star, because i will happily update my review if they do. Keep up the good work DG your on the right track.

DG is allways good to visit , staff is usually allways friendly yet we all have our days . I dont like the fact im being carded for booze and tobacco everytime i want to purchase so i go elsewhere for those items .... BTW I'm 65
