Friendly service, fantastic food, gorgeous views! Deli made for a perfect lunch date on the patio. Chicken Philly and Tri Tip sandwiches were amazing! Chile fries and normal fries crispy, hot, and delicious! Super friendly, small town vibe. Well worth the drive to visit this gem. A new favorite for sure. Store was well stocked with convenient and creative camping supplies, had that been what I was there for, I would have been very happy. Cowboy chocolate was awesome, too!

This place has a lot of various products, including clothes, foods, fishing baits and rods. It is quite small and simple, but the employees are nice and friendly.

White man who was at the cashier was very rude to us customer. He kept on repeating to say the word “hello” over and over. We asked for a bag of ice and he still kept saying hello, so we asked if he was okay then he said yes with an attitude then continued to say hello then suddenly he said to use the door because the store was close to me when other customers were still coming in. I don’t know if it’s because we’re a different race or what. Me and the person I was with said hello to him smiling kindly when we walked in.

We stopped at the Riverkern Store this morning for biscuits and gravy! Little Eddie was behind the counter and cooked up some fantastic biscuits and gravy for me and my friend Jeff! little Eddie gave us the lay of the land and told us where to go. It was a great way to start the day! We also bought some fishing supplies and had a fantastic day! Highly recommend!

Had been to this store several times over the last 15 years when we vacation here. Was shocked at the service yesterday 3/22/21. The 2 male workers were rude and acted like we were putting them out to order food. So we went with something simple, a grilled cheese. The bread wasn’t even toasted and was still white. Usually the workers are very friendly and chatty but these guys wanted nothing to do with us since we were not locals. We we very disappointed as we would have been eating there once a day for the next 8 days. We won’t be back this trip.

This place had everything we needed and is very close to the campground which makes it extremely convenient, prices are fair they have all the gear and cooking supply you might need. There is also a deli there.

Excellent hamburgers and service. The fries were great but omg the onion rings are the bomb. The breading on them is delish. Will def go back again. Can't beat picking up your lunch at the base of the Sequoia National Forest. Just beautiful.

The General Store is small, but has a bit of everything: food and beverages, fishing gear, clothing, paper plates and cups, and a deli that serves all day. Prices are reasonable. Also good to know if you are in the area, there is a port-a-potty in front for anyone in need (not just customers).They barbecue beef and pork every day, starting in the morning. I had a pork sandwich. It wasn't smothered in sauce, but well-seasoned and very tender. I would order it again.

This is one of the coolest places to visit and I love stopping in to the general store to visit my dear friends Ed and Jelwes and the trip tip is to die for.They have all the necessary things you may need while camping.Their breakfast is an awsome way to start your day.Stop in and say hi.

Man I love this place. The best tri tip sandwiches and macaroni salad anyone could ask for. We stop here every single time we go camping on the Kern river and it's always great. Nice folks, knowledgeable about the area and any questions you could have. If they don't have it here well you probably didn't need it anyway
