Absolutely amazing experience.Writing this as I’m still seated. Great food, AMAZING service, amazing people within the building. Very friendly atmosphere and the live music is wonderful.Cocktail prices are personally very wonderful along with the whiskeys and the tequila and others. Desserts were wonderful as well.Absolutely recommend stopping here and coming here for some dinner for lunch sometime or even for just a quick drink.Thanks guys for amazing service 🌸Food & drinks: Food was served quickly and efficiently. Hot and made perfectly. We had ordered chicken, steak and seafood (wow the whole combo!) and it was all very well made and delicious! We will absolutely return back!Noteworthy details: Amazing decorations inside, nice and comfortable seating area for the waiting guests. Very nice theme going inside the restaurant.

i felt more relaxed than i have in years. staff was fab. owners the best. food was out of this world. i can’t wait to return. yippee McNally’s Fairview Lodge!Rooms: i slept so comfy, i dreamt of trees blowing, the Kern flowing and cowboy bikers whispering about the burgers. what more could anyone want!Walkability: i walked where ever i needed and repeatedly went to the general store, then the river, then the bridge then back to the general store. took a nap & went to dinner. yum to the 10th degree! oh the trails!

This is our new favorite place! We had to come back to back from Father's Day to a following Birthday, as there was no comparison!Their steaks are absolutely cooked to perfection. Everything is fresh and so good! Their Mud Pie is out of this world! They have a good cocktail menu.The tables on the patio are right above the water with cute string lights. Stay after and explore the river, bridge and trails!The service and family friendliness is superb! Everyone works together to make sure you're having the best service. It's also dog friendly on the patio.We have yet to stay in the lodge, but hopefully soon!Nearby activities: Just along the river with a beautiful bridge to trails.Food & drinks: Their steaks are absolutely cooked to perfection. Best margaritas on the mountain.. great food and across the bridge a nice hike trail along river.. great little store and hotel and hamburger stand .. kid friendly swimming under bridge behind the restaurant . Fairview camp ground best camping sites and great when river is lower to tube down to bridge from camp site . Family and kid friendly .. not a lot of rowdy campers party all night . That's gold ledge camp ground if you want a party camp ..definitely a must see and visit ...

Ordered the 24 oz porterhouse and pardner plate (basically sides for another person so we can share the steak). Very delicious! Hospitable and friendly staff. Will return. Right off the Kern River (literally). A fun little bridge to walk across and we were able to see the Kern River moving wildly right after the rains.There is no cell phone reception out here. They do have wifi, though.Noteworthy details: Kern River right outside, walking bridge, scenic drive along Kern River from Kernville

So this place specialty is STEAKS and they serve a dam good steak ! Food was great also the jalapeños poppers were excellent with the relish dipping sauce. We were told about this place because we met there Bartender in Kernville her name is (Bri) hope I spelled it right. Bri is a awesome Bartender and she makes you feel like a local because she is so nice and friendly. Hope to see you next year Bri !!!!

I can't say much about the lodge because I haven't stayed there yet, but their burger stand have some really delicious burgers! Be prepared to wait a lil while tho. Totally worth the wait!Nearby activities: This place is right along the Beautiful Kern river! You must stop by if you're planning a trip to the kern!Food & drinks: Mc Nally burger with cheese. It's a big ol burger!! So delicious!!!

The steaks are amazing staff was friendly and hospitable. Thank you to the bartender for making me a sparkling wine spritzer. The view and atmosphere is so calming and family friendly. The owner came to our table and told us a good fishing spot. We felt blessed by our experience.

Wonderful service for our group of 12. The servers catered to our every request with a smile. It was wonderful to have tasty crudites on the table, as was customary of finer dinner houses in earlier times. Kudos to these chef for delicious steaks and chicken. Casual attire made this venue even more welcoming in the 100+ weather. We'll be back for sure!

This is my favorite place to visit, the steak is awesome and the dining experience is always worth the drive. The staff cater to your needs and the ambiance n scenery is outstanding. Great place to eat.or camping n fishing I recommend you try.it once n you'll be back. I've been going here since the 70s and have nothing but great things to say.

They get 5 stars because the food was great! Their customer service needs some work though. I never received the bread that I asked for and they never came around to refill our waters. Since they were super busy and I'm an understanding person, I didn't knock off a star for it. Hopefully they will be more attentive the next time we go. The food on the other hand was absolutely delicious! Best lobster tail I've had in a long time. The sirloin and porterhouse were seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Fun roadstop in the midst of Sequoia national forest! Stumbled on this mid-drive and got one of their famous burgers and fries. Burger is diner-style, and I went for the 6 oz version. Well cooked and satisfying. The fries were really stellar! Fresh out of the fryer, crisp, hot and salty, about as good as it gets!

We've been eating there for over fifty years and it has always been a highlight of our trips to Kernville. The very best steaks and other dishes. Great country style service. Try it and you'll thank me later.

This is the place for you if you plan to come back after a busy day and sleep in a gloriously comfortable bed; however, the rooms do not have any seating other than the beds, no television, nothing to keep drinks cool, and only disposable cups that melt when you try to make coffee in your room. We rented #6 on August 25th (2020). The bathroom was not clean- shower curtain dirty, footprints on the door; the main area was not clean - dead bugs and a French fry against the baseboard on the carpet. We only paid $130 or so but we expected better than that.The burgers we got at the stand next to the rooms were very tastey.

Very cool, beautiful restaurant with great classic food and friendly staff. They have a welcoming family environment. The Steak and Lobster were wonderful, and the fried Zucchini was amazing. Highly recommend the "snowball" for dessert. Be sure to check out the riverfront and walking suspension bridge behind the restaurant!

Great place! Service is great and food is awesome. The 24 oz. Porterhouse was more than enough food. The black bean soup is a bit spicy, but has good flavor. I'd recommend this place. It is a bit out of the way from most places, but if you're in the area, stop and visit. They open at 1630 and start serving at 1700. Don't forget the mud pie!

Great food, pretty good service. Try the Fairview Special, it's steak and shrimp (although I am bummed that the price recently increased $10). Not to be confused with the McNally's burger stand (on the same property), you won't find a burger on this menu.

One hidden warm and welcoming spot to visit if planning to head north or while on a new adventure. The roads are well maintained, clear skies during the night to observe the stars and freshly prepared food and veggies, are the perfect combination to get to any visitors heart.

Took my sweetheart here for his birthday. It was excellent! He had a filet I had shrimp. We both had the black bean soup instead of salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious!Do not hesitate to make this a dining destination. We will be there again in a couple weeks!
