It was beautiful we arrived at night, they have lights all on the property and in the morning the most beautiful view! We did not mind either or! We could hear people on the other rooms but enjoyed the stay and really did not mind any of it! So worth it! In every which way!Nearby activities: The lake had a beautiful view!

Nice quiet Lodge just beside the Kern river and a reasonable 15 min drive down to Kernville. We had hoped to drive up to Sequino forest but roads are closed and the alternative route was 3hrs.They provide free grills that guests can use.

Location is awesome, and if the lodge happens to be empty, it’s great, but if you have neighbors well….it’s hell. Walls are paper thin, in all directions. You can hear your neighbors chewing, breathing, spitting, and every bodily mfunction there is. Don’t even get me started on TV noise, or fan noise! The manager is nice but there at least needs to.be a strict policy about TV noise past a certain hour. It’s insane.

Hello! We had a lovely time at the Corral Creek Lodge. I'm an 11th generation Californian. Unfortunately, the older gentlemen thinks it's okay to spew hatred about people to his children and grandchildren who run the joint. My word is to let your kids live without hate in their hearts. Otherwise, we had a fun time, but seriously, it's sad to see a beautiful and small town blame it's problems on outsiders of different ethnicities rather than collaborate to make it a better place for everyone and attract more visitors.

Good location relative to nearby trails and the creek (40 min from Trail of 100 giants). The pictures are accurate and the room has a very functional kitchenette as well as a BBQ and nice public terrace.Highly recommend to BBQ materials or other food items as restaurants & convenience stores are at least 30 min away.

Super clean and comfortable with all the comforts of home! As we drove into the property we were warmly welcomed by Tina who seemed to genuinely enjoy greeting us! We felt as if she were inviting us into her own home. If you appreciate an owner who takes pride in providing a warm welcome, super clean rooms and a relaxing atmosphere, then you will absolutely enjoy your stay at Corral Creek Lodge! We sure did! Our king room with kitchenette was absolutely spotless, spacious, and everything worked perfectly! The complimentary hot chocolate and coffee with real creamer was definitely a plus! The view of the mountains from our bed was amazing and the bed was so comfortable that we actually slept in! We really appreciated the beauty and peacefulness of the secluded forest location. During our three day stay we explored Sequoia National Park, The Trail of 100 Giants and Kings Canyon National Park and we're already planning our next stay at Corral Creek Lodge on our way up to vist Yosemite National Park next month!

Unfortunately, my partner and I’s stay here was disappointing. I’d like to start out by saying that there were a mix of positives and negatives regarding our stay. However, the negatives far outweighed the positives.Positive aspects of our stay included an initially friendly and welcoming environment. The staff at Corral Creek were very friendly and the staff working when we arrived were thoughtful and welcoming. Other positive aspects included: clean rooms and charming rustic appeal of the general property. In particular, the keys to each room are given on a little wooden fob!Sadly, now the negatives.1. Military aircraft fly over the valley where Corral Creek Lodge is located. These aircraft are very very loud and very disturbing multiple times a day. While this lodge is pet friendly, it’s not the best environment for pets as it scared ours to death every time the planes few over.2. Every time we took a semi-warm shower the fire alarm in the room would go off. This would happen if the door to the bathroom was open or closed. Most likely due to the position of the smoke detector (right outside the bathroom door). We were informed by the staff on site that this happens quite often, after having been surprised with the alarm going off.3. We paid $177 plus taxes each night. (One week day and one week end day) Which came out to about $350 total. However, for the money we spent there was no breakfast bar, limited guest services, and only outdoor seating and grilling space. It was disappointing what was available for the price we paid. Essentially, our stay only gave us a reprieve from the heat and the sun.4. We stayed two days/nights and the second day we stayed our room wasn’t cleaned/serviced. We displayed the cleaning tag outside our room for approximately 5 hours while we were gone exploring the nearby trails and towns but no one had visited the room. This left us without towels to shower and without a change of sheets. Normally, I wouldn’t mind the slow turn around on linens but my partner and I were staying here as a breath of fresh air in between traveling various national parks and forests across the country and the things we had already used were dirty and we desperately needed new ones. The manager, Tina, helped us get new things as soon as she was informed. However, we had to share our space while we were cooking dinner to get the linens we needed when it should’ve been done while we were gone. Not quite 3-star service.5. Lastly, and MOST IMPORTANTLY of the negatives, when we expressed our grievances it felt like we were dismissed. We were informed that our stay could not be comped because it would have to be run by “the owner”. As compensation for our subpar visit, we were given free ice and we were told we would get an email regarding a possible refund. This email never arrived. In summary:The interaction we had with Tina, the manager, when we checked out leaves me wondering if we weren’t taken seriously because the issues we experienced don’t happen to everyone or possibly because we were “just” college students passing through (even though I’m a PhD student and an instructor as well). Who knows. However, the experience we had at Corral Creek was not a 3-star experience you would get anywhere else in the U.S. Unfortunately, while the people were nice, the positives of some good customer service does not outweigh the negatives we experienced from our stay.Food & drinks: No walkable access to food. Limit access to drinks. Ice was available.

I did not stay and can't say what the rooms are like, but the customer service is outstanding. I took a bike ride up the mountain, and there was no signal anywhere. Wanted to let my friends know I was still ok because I had been riding for an hour. Stopped at this place to ask if I could use the wifi to be able to make a call. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly. She got me on to the wifi. Made change for me so that I could buy a soda and told me I could sit on the bench under the tree if I wanted to rest for a bit. That is true hospitality. Turns out I had rode over 8 miles and was, of course, gonna need another hour to ride back. I'm glad I was able to call my party and let them know. Thanks for the hospitality!

What a cool place to stay. It was hard to find the location at first. You have to select going by foot on Google map because it won’t show on the by car option. The view is amazing here all around. The checkin was smooth and the service was polite. The electric was out for part of the evening while we was there but that was the only hiccups. The room and bed were clean and spacious. Highly recommend giving this place a try

This place is one of my favorite places in the whole country to stay. The minute you drive up you feel like you are part of the family! The rooms are spotless and the staff works very hard to ensure your stay is top of the line. There are bbq grills and a smoker on the big patio, surrounded by tables and benches. Utensils are provided as well. Laundry on site and the views are spectacular. They were very accommodating to us as we were pulling a 40' trailer. The managers kept a watch over our stuff even though we had it parked across the street. For someone to take the time out of their evening to go check on our stuff is nothing short of 5 star! I really cannot praise this place enough. I have stayed at thousands of places all over the United States and the simplicity as well as the generosity offered at Corral Creek Lodge is top of the line. The owners should be very proud of their management. ♡ Can't wait to come back!

Thank you, Corral Creek Lodge for a very restful and beautiful weekend. We were greeted when we arrived - the staff is wonderful. Easy to book our reservation with a phone call to the office. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette, a patio with barbeques and utinsels available. AWESOME weekend get-a-way. Thank you.

The staff is very warm and friendly, especially the wonderful Tina and Jeremiah, who manage the property. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. They seem well insulated as we never needed the AC or the heat even though the temperature fluctuated by at least 25 degrees outside, and we found the rooms very quiet as well; we were there for a wedding and our room was directly above the bar and we still heard virtually no noise once we closed the door. We slept exceptionally well in our room. Many thanks to the great staff. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Kind of out of the way, but interior is pretty good. You got all you need. A mini kitchen. Bathrooms and beds are clean. Little patios with outdoor tables and chairs to chill outside along with a grill.Food & drinks: There are vending machines for drinks.

Definitely going back. Front desk is so nice and accommodating. Sweethearts!! Rooms have kitchenettes which are perfect for a weekend at the river. They have a hillbilly fire pit that is super convenient and grills available with tools to grill. Clean, neat and cute. Loved it.

We had a short turn around trip to the Corral Creek Lodge but I can't wait to get back there again! The property is gorgeous with beautiful views. You're within walking distance to the Kern River. We took advantage of that a few times during our visit. The room was clean and spacious enough for the 3 adults we had in it. They have a great patio/BBQ area that we were able to do a family dinner with. Tina and Jeremiah were wonderful hosts. I cant say enough nice things about our stay. I can't wait to visit again during other seasons!

I've stayed here twice in the past month, because it is just a beautiful spot to be on the Kern River, with beautiful views of the mountains. Very clean, beautiful yard, you can barbeque, and all units have kitchenettes with pans and dishware. Convenient for making easy meals. Hosts Tina and Jeremiah are so welcoming and friendly - and so is pooch Bailey.

Corral Creek Lodge is across the street from the river! After checking in we went for a swim. The wildflowers are in full bloom. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a stove and small refrigerator. It was perfect for us. There's an outdoor sitting area for chatting with family and friends. The whole area is beautiful and scenic!

The lodge location is surrounded by beautiful mountains and it is next to Kern river...Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. We had daily activities, like visiting the Trail of 100 Gaints, then beach in the evening. Plus another day, visit to lake Isabella and water activies etc. It was a fun and relaxing trip.About the lodge location: It is opposite to Kern river beach with good amount of sands to play/relax....the river is not that deep and you can enjoy the flowing water in or on the beach..kids enjoyed it!!.The staff are accommodating and helpful.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The heat while camping was too much for my dog and i needed somewhere we could cool off and relax. i was able to get a room for me and my dog and it was a lifesaver. the room came with netflix, a kitchenette, a big comfy bed, and was very spacious and clean. there were some small things that needed maintenance but nothing that got in the way.

Ive been up here off and on working with the fire crews and this place had always been very accommodating. They make you feel like it's your backyard and Jeremiah the lead management member here is a very chill guy. This is the coolest place to stay. Just be respectful and courteous of your neighbors and you'll be fine.

Great service, they're stricked on their 3pm check in rule, besides that, great area, nice rooms. Editing my review but more like adding to it.They do have a kitchenette, you have a few dishes in there. A table, 2 chairs. Fairly spacious. You wouldn't be disappointed for what you pay.Nice outside patio area to grill, eat or just hangout. I love parking by the dead grass away from the lodge, sitting on the back of my car at night and just relax.

Clean, comfortable rooms with welcoming staff...I have stayed at this motel three times over the past two years. This motel is not plush or luxurious, but I couldn't ask for cleaner rooms, it is always comfortable. It is a nice spot to rest after a day of touring around the redwoods and the Kern River. The staff here have always made me feel at home, and I'm looking forward to my next stay here.

Highly recommended. Great place to stay after an incredible drive. Scenic location just across the river & a trail. Beautiful look from the outside. Your room is a self-contained mini-apartment with a cooking range, microwave, fridge & a very well to-do dining table. Comfy beds. Modest breakfast that we often find in most European B&Bs. Nice hosts. I will return for another time.

Me, the wife and two Frenchies (Bulldogs) stayed here the other night. It’s a nice little getaway for a decent price. The pros are that it won’t break the bank, it’s got all the essentials and it’s surrounded by beautiful scenery…. Also it’s pet friendly 🐶👍🏻 Negatives were u could hear through the walls, the plumbing was a bit noisy and the pillows were rough. All In all I’d say it’s well worth the $$$. Bring ur own pillow and some earplugs and ur set.
