First timer here with our doggies! Great location. Clean area and facilities. We rented an RV and it was very clean and everything worked! The RV water wasn’t topped off so we ran out just a couple of hours being there but the staff was on it after that!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back with a bigger group!

Nice family run place, with a number of sites against the river! Close to rodeo and town. Fish were biting!Restrooms: Clean. Hot showers! Well maintained grounds. On-site staff is cheerful and helpful.Dog-friendliness: Perfect spot for the dogs!

Customer service exceeded expectations - incredibly welcome and helpful! We were able to watch the (cold) Kern River rush by while enjoying a picnic with our 2 pups. Peaceful, clean environment - would definitely stop by again if we are in the area =)

Activity were good, the mummy was great, our site was really nice, weather was great my family really enjoyed, not good that we couldn't go in the store on site no one was available to open it 😒

Staff came to tell us to be quiet in a very rude way. Never got told a warning. Very aggressive toned. Stated we had been warned twice but never was told about our voices or us being told we were being “too loud”. Would be nice if staff approached in a much nicer voice to there clients. As they say you get the respect you give given back to you. Also restrooms were very dirty.Restrooms: Restrooms were dirty and very moist from the showers and no air circulating inside the restrooms

I've been visiting CK for years. I remember when it felt like a cute family owned campground where the groundsmen would check in/regulate guests often and someone was always available for wood/ice or assistance. Those days are no more. Good luck getting someone to answer a phone if they're on a break- I mean this just seems like basic customer service. They have several girls working the office.We visited this past weekend and honestly it's probably the last time for us. The noise levels were unreal! We had neighbors blasting music at 11pm! This was unheard of a few years back...what changed?! They sure like to upcharge for every single thing they possibly can, why not hire a night staff?We actually had someone offer us their last night because they could not take the noise and left early.The rules state you have to remove personal EZ ups by 8pm and can replace at 7AM, nobody enforces this so getting a decent beach spot is like winning the lottery because CK takes up half the beach with their EZ up Rentals (that aren't cheap).$9 for a tiny bundle of wood or bag of ice. Just a total rip off.Miss the old days. So long Camp Kernville!

This is honestly one of my favorite places ever, it’s so beautiful and peaceful. I’ve been going here basically all of my life. The management is a little strict but it’s alright. And there’s so much to do like inner tubing, rafting, getting in the river, collecting rocks, fishing, and so much more.

everything is ok the only bad thing is that after 4 people per stay they charge you extra and they don't tell you when you make the reservation until you are already in the place

Nice campsites but they are too close to each other for my preference. They're perfect if your neighbors are your family/friends! :)

We had a great getaway here the people and staff were friendly & the spot was great. We don't take a car with us so great that it is walking distance to a breakfast/lunch café, ice cream, dinner restaurant, and a few shops. Ideal spot to cast a line in the river or skip a few rocks. We are planning our next visit in a few more weeks. Onsite shop was not open to public yet.

Great place for kids and dogs. Camp staff was great awesome people, River access from the camp ground. Little busy on the weekend as expected, as soon as Sunday came this place is a ghost town. Thanks!

Our 6th summer camping with you at Camp Kernville, and even through these unknown times, we had an awesome trip. Patricia is so friendly and on the run helping guests inside & outside the office. I truly admire her friendliness and efficiency! Grounds keepers and security were amazing! Always on top of disinfecting along with the other needs within the camp grounds. Thanks for another amazing summer @ Camp Kernville!

Beyond exceeded my expectations! Very clean, friendly, cozy , fun and right now during the warmer season they are showing free "movies in the park" while camping! So much fun for kids! And their "beach" on the river is the best for miles. Its calm , sandy, barley any rocks, its nice and deep out further across the river. Perfect for all ages!Playground: There is a sectioned off part of the river but no playground. Also there is kids movies being played at dust on the weekendsRestrooms: Clean. The rvs have their own. Theres showers. Also laundry facilitiesDog-friendliness: No aggressive breeds,leash if walking around, pet stations with baggies and water, they even let me have my smaller baby in the camper i was in.Picnic area: This is the location of the movies played on the big screen like a drive in theater they do on the weekends at dusk. Kid friendly

This place is a giant rip off!!! First they only charge you for 2 people at booking so when you get there you’re charged $5 per person per day!! The contract does not state the pricing! Then there were cockroaches everywhere!!! It was disgusting! The second night one of our friends had their ice chest full of alcohol stolen and the front office said ‘oh yeah, there’s a local drunk that comes in and steals liquor’. So they absolutely know of a problem, give no warning and have no security to stop the problem.The beach access is nice but small and they’re so greedy they have their own easy ups set up and charge $250 to rent one for the day!!! AND THEN- they have a sign posted telling you you may not put up your own- trying to force you to spend the money to rent theirs. They’re running a very poor business and do not have campers in mind- only their own financial gain.We will never return here! Utterly disappointed with the entire experience!

Stayed one more night because the camp and kernville are such lovely places. The camp is right next to the river. Staff is exceptionally friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Wifi/laundry/hot showers available. We would definitely come back!

Very clean campground. The maintenance team was always working and cleaning the camp sites and the bathrooms. Also loves the beach access and the friendly staff. Town is close to the campground it was nice to be able to walk to town.Restrooms: Very clean restrooms.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The camp is well maintained and the guests are pretty respectful of the rules and quiet time. We love the the river access and the ability to walk right into town, we had a great burger at the Kernville Brewery. Great little town, great campsite, great hospitality.
