An eclectic collection of welded metal garden art was what drew us in. The variety is amazing and the prices are reasonable. There are also lots of plants and all sorts of pet supplies. A very neat place to stop in at and the staff were friendly.

Swedes is my neighborhood go to place for pet and livestock supplies. It's such a fun place. I enjoy their plant selection and unique gifts too. Friendly staff and great service.

Very healthy plants, at a decent price. Nice sculptures for sale. Soil, garden gnomes, good pots etc. On the side of highway 12 about a mile or two from Bennett valley road. A must visit local nursery.

Wonderful little shop the owners are so sweet. I got something for my prys and a few plants. They give us fertilizer samples for free and some aquatic plants. We're definitely going back...

This place is always fun to go to, have gone multiple times and there's always something new to find whether it be a new piece of art or just fun little gift there are plenty of things for home and garden. Pricing is definitely on the moderate side but for art that's definitely to be expected, I've gotten a few things here and they seem to last and definitely had great appeal to a yard, parking and location is a little bit rough especially when busy since it is on highway 12 so be prepared to break and accelerate when entering and leaving. They also have feed and other miscellaneous garden supplies, definitely friendly staff have had no issues with any questions I have had in the past and they seem more than willing to help with anything.

A gem of a store in Kenwood. Knowledgeable staff, competitive prices, it’s got food for pets and gardens, and they’re willing to help walk you through whatever crazy ideas you might have (I bought three hay bales last year for a crazy idea, and the owner took a whole half hour to talk me through exactly what kind of straw to choose and then on how to store it to extend its lifespan).

A delightful and colorful nursery, equipped with both garden needs and animal feed, I'm definitely going back AND they had the large sized planters I was looking for! Not only is there a dragon sculpture to greet you but the staff inside is friendly and treat you like family, so be sure to stop in and check them out, they have organic soil and compost for your home veggies garden (and roses too) Closed on Tuesday. I'm going back again to check out more nooks and crannies! 😄

This is a kitschy place to shop for all things garden, including some very large and very small whimsical statues, unique garden decor, gifts, bedding plants, soil amendments, and one-of-a-kind, handmade garden items. It looks a bIt like a flea market, staff does not hover, and it is a fun browse. There is one a tiny room to pay for purchases, and the line was slow and out the door.

Two amazing thing about Swede's first. First, they have everything any pet or livestock owner would ever need, plus plants, flowers and full on gardening "stuff." Things like typical soil, pots, fertilizer, etc, but also cute, cute, cute garden art. Yep went home with 2 metal art garden stakes!But the second thing... while being distracted with so much to see (including quite a few beautiful hens and bantams) I left my cell phone. I live 300 miles away and within two days, they shipped it back, and I received the lifeline to my business.So grateful!This should always be a stop anytime you are in the Sonoma area. Totally worth it. Love the store and the owner and staff are amazing!

Very friendly and helpful staff-I enjoy the eclectic yard art. Plant and pots selection isn't that varied or plentiful, but it works well enough for me; I get overwhelmed with too many choices, anyway. Also they were open on 2 separate days where another (think..another local plant store) was closed, so Swede's has my vote!

Very cool place! I hate to see these negative reviews when it's such a unique place! Owner is VERY kind and helpful! Great selection of unique things if you are into plants, and garden decor, as well as great pet foods and supplies. Okay- parking is limited, but it's worth making a stop. You won't be disappointed. Not your run of the mill place.

Swedes feeds is the best local store ever. My grand daughter Elle loves getting stuff for her chickens there. Very nice employees. Lots of animals. Tons of chickens that you can collect eggs from. My favorite store!!!

Been going to Swedes for many years. It’s distinctly Sonoma County and a great store. Laid back and helpful attitudes from staff. Usually music from all parts of the world playing on the stereo. Overall a nice vibe.

Best little feed store in the area (otherwise it's off to downtown Santa Rosa or way south to Sonoma). The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. In spring/summer/fall, there's a small but nice selection of outdoor and indoor plants, along with garden tools and gifts. If you're into metal animal sculptures, from giant T.Rex to hens, this is your kind of place.

Great place for all sorts of things besides animal food. Great gifts, flowers, cards, and creative gifts for kids. Also chicken to look at, and metal art sculptures that are awesome. Owners and staff are stellar!
