This is one of my favorite plant nurseries! The selection of plants is so vast, I always find myself getting lost in the joy of browsing everything. They also have some of the best priced pots for the value. Both their indoor and outdoor plant selection is excellent, which I feel like is rare with nurseries. The plants always seem so healthy, too! Very pleased with every experience I have had here.

Love browsing Sloat on a weekend morning. The staff is really friendly and knowledgable so don't hesitate to ask them any questions that you may have. Their seeds are a bit hard to find but they are in the back of the main building away from the cashier stands. Prices are pretty typical for the Bay Area.

Hands down my favorite garden store!The plants are very healthy, and well suited to Northern California environment.I’ve gotten many house plants here (red leaf banana, a small monstera, gorgeous ferns) that have all been thriving. A friend of mine got around 30 various vegetable plants this spring (many tomatoes, peppers and squashes) that are all doing very well in his garden in Oakland. Reliably great!I also love all the pots and the great selection of soil and compost. ❤️

The Sloan garden center has a really wide variety of amazing plants at a low price. They offer speedy curbside pickup, and the greenery inside is stunning. I am very satisfied with my experience at Sloat Garden Center.

My husband and I just had a very unpleasant experience at the Kentfield Sloat Garden Center. The man (he was not a gentleman) shouted at me to put my mask on than he said he would find someone to help us. He did not. We had to ask a young lady. She was impatience and extremely rude. Very poor customer service. We finally had to just help ourselves. Senior abuse big time.

Nice place. Great help. They actually have asparagus bulbs in stock. Everywhere else was out of starts, OR bulbs.

Really frustrating! Was helped by multiple teenage boys that have no idea what they are taking about yet try to convince you so they don’t have to work! Also they all seem like the have smoked one too many doobies before their shift!
