This is one of the few Coffee shops in June like that are open before 9 AM. The barista‘s are very cheery and the coffee hits the spot! They have a great selection of breakfast food and other drinks. You can also grab a glass of wine or a beer and sit on their patio. The patio is a great place two people watch and see all the tourists walking around and driving through town. Inside the place is very clean and has a warm cozy feeling to it. There’s plenty of seating and the bathrooms are clean.

Healthy and delicious breakfast! Very cute spot with outdoor seating. Breakfast menu changes often, so it's nice to see what they have every morning. The muffins and cookies were so yummy! We ended up getting more for the road! The coffee is strong and there are tea, kombucha, and beer options as well. Definitely a place you need to stop by when you're in the area.

Experience ruined by a dog in the cafe. Nice place but some customers had a dog tied up right in the area I’d have wanted to sit. Staff said nothing about the dog’s presence despite federal law prohibiting animals in restaurants. It clearly wasn’t a service dog, either, since it would bark occasionally - an ear-splitting racket destroying the otherwise chill vibe.

Experience elevated by a dog in the cafe. Nice place but some customers had a tiny dog right in the area I’d have wanted to sit (so I just walked around the dog and sat down). Staff said nothing about the dog’s presence, which is of course normal. It clearly wasn’t a service dog, either - again, totally fine. It would bark occasionally - a normal sound doing nothing to destroy the chill vibe.(Seriously though, great place to get breakfast and a coffee. I had the cinnamon roll, a latte, and a breakfast burrito - all were excellent! The burritos are a bit pricey, but it's a remote area so that's totally expected, and they're really tasty. I will definitely stop by again for breakfast whenever I'm in the area!)

Great spot and friendly service. The vegan breakfast burrito was fresh and delicious. The avocado toast was ok - the bread just wasn't fresh, chunky, or tasty enough for it to be excellent.

Good breakfast burritos and coffee. Stopped by here on our way home back to the Bay area. We stayed in mammoth lakes but I always enjoy stopping by in the June Lake area.

This place is great. Basil pig is a must. A side noteJune Lake like many mountain towns is dog friendly. The joker that made the comment about dogs hates dogs. Look at his other reviews. It says a lot about you lack of humanity when you hate dogs. So……I’ll do his review….. had a great sandwichHad some really good wine. I’ll be back.Wasn’t that hard?

Nice vibe here. Avocado toast, egg bites, muffins, coffee, and more! Lovely patio that’s shaded to enjoy beautiful June Lake. Dog friendly and we had nice interaction with sweet dog on the patio!

Friendly and fast service. Good food and drinks. A quaint little place with spectacular views of the mountains. Convenient location and hours in the town of June Lake. A much needed addition to the town.

We showed up at a very busy time. They had a new worker at the register, which wasn't helping the speed. But we were not in a hurry, so we relaxed and waited.I saw the manager working with an arm injury, all the while calmly correcting the new person's mistakes. Good management style from what I saw. Got her point across without being mean. The coffee and the baked goods were excellent. Worth the wait. I figure if we caught them at a rough time and things still turned out well, it's probably great all the time.

It's a small little cafe on the main street. Dog friendly. They have fresh coffee and do try their banana bread. They have decent vegetarian options. We tried the avacado toast and vegan sandwich and they were very fresh and tasty.

The LIFT breakfast place have the best sandwiches I have ever had. Got Yer Bec and Basil Pig were out favorite. We replaced bacon with avocados in both of them. Every ingredient was “speaking to each other” and was very juicy.

Although I am admittedly biased, June Lake absolutely needed a place exactly like The Lift. After living in San Francisco's Little Italy a.k.a. North Beach for 10 years, I grew accustomed to being able to get an incredible espresso reliably and easily. After living in June Lake for a couple of years and having no true gourmet coffee options, I was honestly a little sad. It was probably the only thing missing... But that all changed when Maribeth and Elisha decided to open this incredible restaurant and café. They really pulled out all the stops and brought in a world-class espresso machine, and a fantastic team that was trained to make really delicious, high-quality beverages the right way. They put quality and love into everything they do and use super high-quality ingredients to make sure that customers walk out with a big happy smile on their face and a beverage that they truly love.

Not a ton of choices in this small town. But this place is great for a quick breakfast burrito and a good coffee.

Great light brekkie for the long ride home. The bacon pesto sandwich was a bare-knuckled brawl of salt and garlic, battling it out for tastebud dominance.Good fresh brewed tea to cleanse the pallet between rounds.Awesome friendly staff!Ted approved!!!

Pastries are great, coffe could use a bit more flavor. My kids were not a fan of the hot cocoa. The only business open at 7am in June lake.

Awesome coffee hut with the best dang cheddar cheese and pesto on the planet. Along with other key core ingredient this cute local place knows how to use them. Few but bountiful items for breakfast, lunch and dinner, makes this a “gotta keep going there” spot. Also loved how eco-friendly it was. Refillable water he and less plastic. We went here for several meals while traveling. Tend to do that while traveling and this was our go to at June Lake / Inyo Nat Forest.
