We took our son out on a boat to fish and rented from here. The people were so nice!!! They also were very helpful with tips And just easy going people. The lake and scenery was very nice and relaxing. Beautiful weather and beautiful people on the lake. We plan on coming back real soon on our next vacation again!!

We had a great time renting a boat for a half day during our honeymoon. Even with our cellphone issues, the Marina was professional and was easy to talk to. Our gentleman helping us get our boat out was great. The lake is nice sized and decent boat motors for rental boats! Very helpful and accommodating!!

Amazing lake and a beautiful view! Toilets near the beach and free parking. Bring your kayak or rent one here, go to the middle of the lake and swim! 🏊‍♂️ Enjoy the clear water! Very family-oriented and you can bring your doggie as well 😊Only one thing: bring a tent, as there's no shade near the beach. Super recommended 👌😁

My husband and I rent from June Lake Marina at least 1-2 a year for the past 10 year and never had an issue before yesterday. Yesterday we arrived 6:05am to get our boat that we rented. I asked the girl working there if there were any pontoons available (since when I booked the pontoons we’re all booked). She said that she only has one available until noon. I asked if we could upgrade to that and then switch to the fishing boat for the remainder of the day. She made a sigh and said it’s too early to figure this out and it’s hard for them to do. I said no problem we’ll stay with our boat.Later in the day we beached the boat. The same girl called and said are you in the chairs across from the marina on the beach. I said yes. She said to move the boat, they don’t allow beaching the boats. When I asked for clarification on that she sighed again… told me to to anchor the boat and then hung up on me.Then a little later we get another call saying did you move the boat? It doesn’t look like you moved it. I told her that we moved it within 30-seconds of her calling me. She hung up AGAIN!My husband and I packed up our stuff and headed in. We talked to Jay! Jay tried to make it right! He apologized and even offered to make it right. We weren’t looking for a hand out. We just didn’t want to be disrespected and treated poorly.

The ladies were very helpful. We had never been to this lake before so we had no idea what to fish. We asked a few questions and they were more than willing to help. We did not however catch anything? It couldn't have been us, so hhmmmm I wonder. Just kidding. Great place, close to food, and lodging. Thanks

Beautiful lake with boats that could be rented on a full or half day bases. Loved spending our afternoon renting a pontoon. It was a perfect way to spend a beautiful day in June lake. Our dogs loved swimming in the water and enjoyed their boat ride.

We spent an hour kayaking on the lake and enjoyed an ice cream cone and cold beverage overlooking the marina before hitting the road again. The staff were friendly and I appreciated the anorak chairs and umbrellas under the tree overlooking the docks to relax. We will be back!

Cayden and Brit were awesome! They shared local knowledge for fishing with us that helped up catch fish on our daily pontoon rental.It was unfortunate that not everyone was stoked to help us. One of the dockhands was very sarcastic and snarky to us and other guests. I’m leaving 4 stars because if you’re paying hundreds of dollars for a beat-up pontoon you should be given great customer service all around. Once again 99% of the staff was great, the one long haired blonde ruined it.

Beware Adam likes to STEAL your money!! Have been coming up here for years 30+ and never had issues until new management Adam took over. Twice I paid for full days and asked to change to half days instead and I put the other half days for use on another day we are out here. Those 2 times they mysteriously had no records of that, they book the half days but they don’t put that we paid for it so when we go to use the boat they charge us again and say they don’t do that and that none of his employees would do that. I gave him the exact days we did it and the description of his employees but says none of them would do this.He’s very rude and just says I stand by what he already said. So here we are out $140 so beware he’s only after your money. I will take my business elsewhere.

We lived revisiting this quaint little marina! The row of Adirondack chairs made for great, relaxing viewing, and the tackle shop was ample for basic needs. We rented a pontoon on Labor Day and THE FISHING WAS OFF THE HOOK!! Everyone (8 of us) was ecstatic with what they caught!! They are def making plans to come back, and are telling their friends. 🤗

It’s a nice and quiet place. We have done kayak for 1 hour, nice experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. 5 years ago we had visited this place. At that time it was too cold and the weather was so good. In five years a lot of change in weather ☀️.

We only walked in to inquire about daily boat rentals - and were greeted warmly by helpful staff. They offer pontoon boats (recommend reservations), motorboats and kayaks. Maybe SUPs, too.We walked the docks a couple times and saw only gleeful faces on their patrons. The place appeared to be well maintained, serviced by on onsite Honda technician and was well stocked with a variety of boats. There's a small convenience store that has what you might need for a day on the lake.A night time stroll in that area of the lake provides an incredible dome of a sky for stargazing.Probably rates FIVE STARS. We'll have to come back and do some boating to back it up, though.

While June Lake is beautiful, the owner of the marina is completely rude and unprofessional. We rented a boat and NO ONE told us we couldn’t beach it. There are no signs and nothing worded on the paperwork. Adam came by and yelled at us to return our boat to the marina because we were told not to beach it. We weren’t and our day was cut short due to the fact that the staff wasn’t competent enough to tell us one of the cardinal rules. We couldn’t even get a partial refund, but I will definitely be disputing the transaction with my bank.

The most horrid customer service experience of my life. I've been camping in Mammoth for years with my family. This year I wanted to book 2 Duffy boats for my husbands birthday. The week prior to our arrival I called and reserved 2 boats, gave them my credit card to hold the boats. Never received a confirmation or anything. Didn't really think about it being an issue. I called back the same day I initially booked and changed the day of the reservations to the following day. Again never received a confirmation. Didn't think it was a big deal. We'll, I was very wrong! I got a call from them asking if we were still planning on coming to use the boats. I told the woman I had changed the day to the following day. She paused for 2 seconds to check and then said "no you're scheduled for today." As I tried to explain I changed the day she was talking over me not letting me talk and not listening. She right away said " no that wouldn't have happened, we book really fast". At this point I was extremely annoyed because A) she wasn't listening to me and B) she was telling me I was wrong. She then asked if I had any other information to give her. I'm not sure what she wanted considering they don't send confirmations. What she should have done is checked to see which employee booked it and double check with them to see what the mix up was. Instead she insisted I was wrong. I told her I had pretty good cognitive skills and remember exactly when and what I booked. To which she replied "I don't think you do". At this point I was so furious she was so extremely rude and unprofessional, I told her that I was going to write a Yelp review. Her disgusting reply was "oh you're a Yelper?! WE DON'T NEED YOUR BUSINESS!" This is actually my first negative review. I'm not a yelper. Anyway. I hung up then realized she had my credit card and was going to charge a no show fee. Which she did $300!! So now I have to take it up with my credit card company to get this matter resolved. She didn't need my business but had no problem taking my money?! So wrong! We had zero intention of no showing! It was a scheduling mistake on their end. Needless to say she ruined my day and now I have to spend all this needless energy trying to get my money back from the credit card company. We ended up going to Lake Crowley and renting boats. They were extremely pleasant and appreciative of our business.I called multiple times and was told the owner would call me back. Never received a call back. I emailed with screen shots of my call log from the day I booked. First call at 2pm then the second call at 4pm when I moved the day. I also have screen shots of text messages telling my family the day I booked. Again, no reply from the business owner or manager.Get a confirmation from June lake!! I learned the hard way.Make it right June Lake Marina, you can't treat customers this way.

Very friendly staff and nice pontoon boats to rent. We had a great day cruising around on the lake thanks to this place! Note: if you are fishing, you can not anchor the pontoon boats as the anchor lines are too short.

This a beatiful little place. I was able to barely fit my 25 ft RV at the camp site. People are friendly. Beautiful mountain air. Thanks God I can breath deep without coughing!

We showed up at 5:10 expecting to rent a boat. Their website states that they are open until 6 PM. The lady said that I would have to return the boat by 5:45. I asked if we could return it at 5:50 or 5:55. She said she couldn't justify the extra 5 or 10 minutes. I was willing to pay for an hour, but she wouldn't even let me have it for 40 minutes. So I agreed to turn the boat in by 5:45. She refused service anyway. She said she didn't feel comfortable. I told her that we drove almost 3 hours, but that didn't matter to her. We were made to feel very unwelcome. I was even told to go somewhere else. If she would have rented me the boat, I would have left a great review and told my friends to go there. Their website should state that all boats must be returned by 5:45 instead of stating their closing time as 6:00. They lost my business and quite possibly other customers. This place is very unprofessional and has poor guest relations!

It's a good place to go, if you're white. Me and my family went and it's a beautiful lake. However, the boats had PLENTY of issues and at the end of it we got blamed for a bad motor and had racist comments thrown at us. Saying we didn't have money to cover the costs of repair because we are Hispanic. It's 2018 and I can't believe this is still an issue. Never coming here again, I don't recommend supporting a business like this.

Nice staff. Very helpful. The flat bottom 16 was great for 4 people. 15hp motor started easily. Got 6 trout in the boat. Lost 3. Bite was very light.

Jaw dropping scenery with surprising amenities from showers to restaurants and everything in between. Or is this a review of the lake itself and not the campground? If so still 5 stars because holy mole it doesn't get much better than this.

Really disappointed with the Marina staff. After spending $250 for a pontoon we ended up with one that had a broken front door that wouldn't stay closed (really unsafe when we had a child on the boat), the driver seat was completely broken, and the back seat was all ripped up with no padding in it. When we went in to let them know we were disappointed in what they provided their response was well we've been busy. Which has nothing to do with the quality of what they are providing their customers. We were then told "If you're done, you can leave now". We have rented from them every year we come to Mammoth since I was a kid, but we'll have to go to their competitor instead. Customer service & quality safe boats don't seem to be very important to them. Really disappointed they were so rude to paying customers who were simply pointing out what they should have already addressed on their own. We didn't ask for anything other than a heartfelt apology & an assurance that they cared & would address our concerns.
