Stayed at park in Sept. for 2 nights 4 people in a 28 ft C classPros: Park is well situated and small but sufficient room to enjoy our stay. The young man Alejandro relative to new owners was nice enough upon arrival. All amenities worked {spa and sauna still in process's} bathrooms were expectable.Cons: Upon arrival Alejandro and I agreed to pay the remainder of the charges for our stay with the on record credit card and also give me a discount for first responder and being a Veteran. Which I thanked him for. When I received the bill not only did he not include a discount he charged me an extra $5 doubling the service fee.I emailed him regarding the matter and as you will note they are not good at answering the phone or replying to email.Bathrooms could use a little more upkeep.Next trip plan to stay at the state park for the price a better deal.

Such a beautiful location, within walking distance of the local brewery, other restaurants, etc. But…the facilities are beyond run down. Which is completely unacceptable for a “rv resort” that charges $75 a night. Laundry has been broken for over a year, “clubhouse, hot tub, etc” are all shut down. And the bathrooms were covered in pools of water and dirt the entire time we were there. So disappointing…. All it would take is a little effort and money from the Mgt to make it a perfect place. But unfortunately reality is that this has become a run down mid level park at best. Hopefully they will put in the effort to turn it around!

Wow! What an amazing experience. The camp host was super welcoming and friendly. There’s a beautiful communal fire pit where everyone can come and hangout with other guests, make s’mores, and have amazing conversations. It was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back here next year! Thank you Golden Pine!Nearby activities: Gull Lake is walking distance for swimming, boating, and fishing.Food & drinks: Walking distance from the June Lake General Store and June Lake Brewery.

I’ve been trying to call but phone just has a busy signal and I’ve sent many emails with no response! It’s annoying when we have a reservation but cannot reach anyone for concerns about it.

I'm hoping maybe this will get the attention of the campground owners. I have been trying to contact them since the beginning of the month. We were set to arrive in May and cannot safely get there due to snow. The voicemail is full, the phone doesn't ring and they do not respond to my numerous emails. They emailed a generic email the other night saying they cannot open for our reservation. Since then I have been contacting them to get $215 back for my deposits. No response. Please contact me! I understand snow is out of your control but we are less than 3 weeks away from our trip and you've cancelled on us! We have to make other arrangements. PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK AND REFUND ME.

Pros: bathrooms are exquisite and always clean. The lady who owns this campground is really nice and helpful!Cons: they do not have a dump station. They charge $75 as a "deposit" to borrow an elbow to properly dump your tanks.I very much did enjoy this place and they are conveniently located in town.

I have a reservation and can’t get anyone to pick up the phone. There are 2 numbers and neither one seems to be working.

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night here. The host is so friendly and the campground is beautiful. The nature around here is also so cool! We absolutely loved it here. Showers and toilets are perfect and clean as well!

Booked 2 nights in rv park 4/28 -4/30/23. When I arrived a locked chain was blocking entrance to rv park and the park was full of snow. Voice-mail had not been set up and received no response to my email requesting a refund. Still can't contact the park on 5/14/23. They obviously shouldn't be charging cc for services they aren't providing.

We usually come here twice a year. This is an awesome RV park. I don't like saying that because then it will be even more popular. Anyway, the park is immaculate, it's small, which is also nice, it's gravel so dust is a minimum. Plenty of trees for shade, The owners are great and helpful. The staff is great and always available. Bathrooms are very clean, there is a fish cleaning sink, a large freezer for your fish to use. There is a laundry that is also very clean. They also have firewood. There use to be a library, but I think COVID stopped that. It's quiet, and close to the village and June and Gull lakes. This is our favorite RV park in the Sierras.

Just finished a 5 day stay... loved it and can't wait to come back. Excellent communication with updates related to covid19 and wildfires/smoke. Noticed some reviews mention small spaces... we were actually impressed, compared to beach camping, we found the space to be generous. The grounds were impeccably clean, gravel/rock pads kept dust down. Just beautiful, small, quaint and cozy park. Walking distance to Gull Lake Marina, and the village in general (Tiger Bar). Great for dogs.

It's my 3rd year camping here in June Lake. My 2nd at Golden Pine RV Park. Chip and Kim and the new owners have done an amazing job in upgrading the park. From new restrooms to wifi and more to come. I'm camping here by myself. I needed a break. Kim made me feel so safe and Chip..well he parked my RV after a long drive. I tried to tip him but he absolutely refused. This 4th of July was epic. The park had kids waving flags music was awesome and the park party..well was so awesome. I'm here for a month. I'm coming every year. It's my safe place that I've felt welcome..protected and the owner AND its staff...we're amazing.

I’ve been emailing and calling multiple times, no response on their part, call back or Email.🤷🏻‍♂️. When I made reservations last October, the person who took the reservations was wonderful. And I look forward to getting up there this May but I need to find out the exact dates that we booked it for so that’s why I’ve been calling and emailing but unfortunately I have not heard a word from them. I’m wondering whether they were flooded out or head fires or if they’re even open no one seems to answer phones or emails.

Golden Pine RV is a great rv campground in the June Lake Loop in between June and Gull lake. The camp hosts are highly informative about the area and made our stay as enjoyable as possible. The campsite has full hookups for rvs and is nestled in the trees only a block away from Gull Lake Marina. Clean restrooms and they were in the middle or renovations for a family center while we stayed (June 2022) The sites hold plenty of space for a cozy set up and are provided with fire pits. We chose this rv site over Silver Lake resort and we were not disappointed at all. Chip and Kim run a great campground and we are looking forward to booking here again next Summer! Thanks Mr. Chip and Miss Kim!

I stayed here for 3 weeks with my husband & dog in a Class A. Definitely had a good experience and would stay here again. Decent price, good location to walk to the lake and the shops in town. The free Wi-Fi works great, awesome if you work remotely. Only 1 washer & 1 dryer but the machines work well and I didn't find the laundry room to ever be too crowded. There's definitely an off-leash dog issue in this campground (management and guests) and generally in the town. Be aware of this if someone in your group is allergic/afraid of dogs or if you have a reactive dog because the laid-back attitude about this can be stressful. The management is nice & helpful though. Was able to have packages delivered here, which was convenient and reliable. Small park and the sites are close together. Feels kind of crowded to hang out outside. But it was quiet for the most part and other campers were respectful. 4 stars!

Devine location and the hosts were amazing! Johnny & Lonna, you made the trip more enjoyable with your friendliness and helpful attitude! You went above and beyond, and we appreciated it immensely!! Can't wait to go back to the area, and hopefully the same campground! Not only peaceful, but being able to walk to everything was GREAT! And the deer coming right thru the cg was even more special. Having the hookups for the trailer made the stay less stressful too.

Wow squared! The absolute highlight of this park were the camp hosts. Johnny and Lana, Chip and Kim...amazing! We’d had some issues w the Motorhome and no exaggeration, they saved us! Not only were they immensely helpful and knowledgeable but their authenticity and genuine zest for life was truly contagious! Thank you all for sending us on our way with the best experience we’ve ever had at a park! Happy trails to you and those who’s path you cross in life 😎😎😎

I stayed here for the first time May of 2021. The campground was really nice to stay at. Camp host was one of the best one i have had contact with. Was ready to assist me in anything that i needed, from fire wood to offering me help getting my rig into the spot that i had reserved. i will definitely be going back as much as i can

This RV PARK is great. Dean & Terry helped us with every need we had. They are the BEST Hosts. The park is quiet & clean with friendly folks all around us. Facilities are clean & work great. The Fishing in GULL LAKE is also great!! We have parked our RV here before & hope to be back many times.

Great hosts! Quiet park just walking distance to Gull Beach, the library, and dining. Electricity hookups in the entire park would show “reverse polarity” if a surge protector is used. Solution: don’t use a surge protector!

Kerry is an amazing camp host! When I had park my trailer she came over to help me back in to make sure my personal property was not damaged by the surrounding trees. Kerry is extremely kind and is always waving when to me when I pass by. Kerry put the cherry on top of my stay here at Golden Pines RV Park. Kerry really went above and beyond her duties as a camp host.

My brother and I stayed here the week before the 4th of July weekend, 2016. Terry and Dean were great hosts. Dean helped me get my 40 foot diesel pusher parked safely in a spot I wouldn't have thought I could get into. Terry was great with the reservations and payment process. When we decided we wanted one more night, but the park was sold out, they told us we could dry camp on a lot the park owns near the Gull Lake Marina. I offered to pay, but they said no way, just go ahead and enjoy it. This is a small park, but very nice, and the hosts couldn't be friendlier.

We stayed for 3 nights in October 2023. What a great find. The park was clean and well-run. Alex was very present and helpful (the best campground host ever). When we arrived he had us slated for spot #13 but offered us #19 which we preferred so we took it. The campground was not full so he allowed us to park our car in one of the empty sites. Full hookups with no hiccups. Great cell coverage on our ATT & Comcast cell phones. Just a short trail to Gull Lake. Beautiful fall colors and a very nice mountain lake. Clean bathrooms and showers. All of the campers were very helpful and friendly. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Golden Pines is awesome. I love that is located in the village of June Lake. You can easily walk to town to shop or fine. It is very close to Full Lake and June Lake. The host and owners are very nice and accommodating.
