PLEASE DON'T BUY FOOD FROM THIS PLACE. IT'S ALL EXPIRED, NO MATTER WHAT THE LABEL SAYS!This place is convenient, we've been here 20yrs. however, we quit shopping there after too many times of spending outrageous prices for expired food and drink mix that they somehow manipulate a new expiration date. Got sick from old food. We drive in to town instead. Sometimes they are nice, sometimes they are incredibly rude. It's just not worth throwing away my money to these people.

Best spot for beer in the Joshua tree area, hands down! Awesome spot for some of the top-notch beer from all over the country from heady topper out of Vermont to some amazing hazy IPAs from California, like electric, green cheek, etc. also a great sour selection as well as wine, kombucha and cider. Harry is the mastermind behind all the goods coming in; be sure to check out the BEER CAVE. It’s like a candy shop for craft beer addicts. Harry was super cool and helpful in showing us some new beers and then hooking us up with some of the best selections off the food menu next door. You have to stop in if you want quality beer and some real authentic food (next door)!

Incredible selection of really nice craft beer here! If Harry is there, ask him his opinions, he's very knowledgeable and has tried most of them. Plus he may have some secret beers hiding in the back fridge that he'll tell you about.

I love this place been coming here for 15 years I have seen this family grow up and the market grow into something much bigger. But that's what happens when you run a super legit business and are constantly open rain or shine. I can think of many times in my 15 years here that sams market was the only place open in town. Love this place Hairy is so funny was well.

There is .75cent fee which they dont tell you on every transaction you made. So please have sign or inform to customer about service charges on top of sales tax.

I have been here so many times and anytime I had a random, specific beer that I wanted, I would let the owner know and he would have it for me in just a few days. The whole family is so friendly and so much fun to talk to anytime I stopped by. I miss living here since this was always my go-to stop for great beer and friendly banter. It may not look like a 5 star establishment on the outside, but they definitely were on the inside.

100% without a doubt easily the best place in Joshua Tree or 29 Palms to get craft beer. Their Beer Cave is not full of the normal 30 brick of pee water. Not only did they have a full Russian River line up including Pig and Pliny, but they also had Lunch from Maine Beer Co. Several Hazy choices too. Crazy line up! The selection is shocking. I asked the lady at the counter if they had Pliny and she said no but they had plenty. Prices aren’t the best but the selection is amazing.

Out of Ice he said at the endNo sign on ice cabinet outside. My family and I camping near by drove there instead of grocery store and after getting a few snacks (when all we needed was ice) he tells us No Ice once we where at register... huge inconvenience and should of been more clear to incoming customers. Still paid for high dollar items. Never again will I stop here. He should of put a sign on ice cabinet that can be seen from parking lot.

I was visiting from out of town and had heard that this place had a great variety of beer and alcohol. Sadly that was a lie. Beer variety was super limited, nothing exciting and over priced. The prices were priced wrong on the beer but couldn’t tell the cashier about it because she was too busy talking on the phone to even care.

I spend a lot of money in there. And I bought a vape and a bottle or two and a pack of cigs paid for everything and since he usually doesn't ask me if I need a bag I just grabbed my stuff leaving pack of cigs on the counter by accident went back and ask for him to look at his Camara system and he will see they were left behind. And didn't have time to look at it at the time. Wow local and treated like nobody.

Write your own mirage joke: this is a perfectly average looking desert convenience store that has an *absurdly* good craft beer selection. You could spend weeks going through it. Not just all your California favorites (including Pliny!) but also gems from far away like BCBS, KBS, Alchemist, rare Allagash stuff, etc. Owners/staff also seem like great people. Stop in for some basics and don't miss the coolers and beer cave.

I watched the lady owner turn away a nice lady who said she left her cigarettes very rudely. Then when I handed her my scratchers she kept the 20 dollar scratcher for herself. After what I witnessed, I wasn’t going to make a scene but I’m not going back.

We were in at this store to get some snacks post hiking. Both clerks were not wearing their masks while inside the store. When asked if masks are required during the check out process, he responded with “well, I am eating right now.” He was checking out our items out and still did not wear his masks.We all know that wearing a mask is not the most comfortable thing to do. But as a store that mandates people to wear their masks, you need to practice what you preach!

bought a 12 pack of white claw seltzer. i was charged 25 \bucks. funny how its 14.99 every where else. too bad i didnt know that before I went here. beware of this place unless you are in a pinch or dont care that youre getting cheated.

It's a liquor store and local market. They have the basics for everything that you'll need to go camping in the monument, or wine, beer and other spirits to party afterwards.

Great spot for quick groceries in Joshua Tree. Super convenient and friendly staff. Looks more like a liquor store online but we picked up eggs and mills and some fruit for breakfast when we forgot it while visiting on vacation.

Customer service over the phone was bad.i went to order a curry pizza with spicy sauce and just pepperoni. This guy tried to say it would be $22 when the menu says $11 and any topping.
