This place was recommended to me as the best coffee spot in Yucca Valley and I’ll second and third that! It was amazing! Absolutely loved the people and the vibe. Make sure to dine in and they had amazing lattes and the freshest pastries on deck. I’ll highly recommend the croissants, can’t go wrong with those. The service was nice and fast and we loved the ambience. Highly recommend if you are in that area or want to grab a coffee before heading into Joshua Tree NP.

This place is such a vibe. We went here in the morning and spent longer than we had planned because it was too cute and peaceful to quickly go in and out of.Even in the morning they had live music playing and it was great to sit back and listen from the outdoor seating area.I guess my review is more for the atmosphere of this place. The drinks were good, not mind-blowingy good, but satisfactory. I wished the almond croissant we got was warm though. I thought it would've been but it was handed to us without warming up and they didn't asked if we wanted it warmed up or not.I still recommend this spot for a chill time in the morning. Or if you want to come during the evening, it turns into a cocktail bar.Parking: Big parking lot that is ranch-like style

This place is a vibe. Perfect spot to unwind after a long day of traveling. We stopped in on a Sat night last March when they were newly opened & so happy we did. Music, lighting, design are perfect. Friendly bartenders helped us choose our drinks. Found the perfect little nook to enjoy with the boyfriend. They have bottles of natural wines & bags of coffee for sale. Patio with heaters. Could've hung out here all night...and would've loved to enjoy the patio with our dogs and a latte the next morning but we had another long drive. Absolutely recommend & hope to be back.

I can't tell you how much this place will mean to the community forever. I run across countless people who have had their own mas experience. Every single staff member are beautiful and amazing people! Best cocktails hands down. No contest anywhere around. And it's the only bar in the area that will treat you with some type of kindness or customer service. They feature pop-up chefs that offer amazing food and have amazing artists and DJ sets on weekends. This place is heaven on earth between jt and 29. Stop by for an amazing latte or blueberry lemon drop. Can't recommend enough!!!

I love this place! Coffee shop by day, funky cocktail bar by night! Perfect Joshua tree vibes. The staff is super friendly and makes awesome drinks. When I lived up the street, I came here every day, I'm a little further away now, but still like to go at least once a week. Food menus are constantly changing, as the outsource to various local vendors.

I’ve been here for both breakfast/coffee and late night drinks. The place has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. From morning and into the afternoon this place is a wonderful coffee bar which offers amazing pastries. I recommend their almond croissant. Their matcha latte was made as expected and will definitely cure your desert caffeine craving. I was told that on Friday’s they have a pop up breakfast station offering wraps and other items. At night this place hosts a wonderful bar atmosphere with sophisticated drink options. Would recommend.

Great new spot right off 62 with cozy friendly and light ambience. Their house Paloma is delicious and there is a creative happy hour menu! The owner mentioned they serve coffee in the morning as well, so looking forward to trying it out! Great sunset views too.

Mas o Menos is more than “so so”. Stopped by on a whim after dinner at Pioneertown. We had attempted to stay longer but got discouraged by the packs of people. What a great choice. más o menos provided the perfect atmosphere to hang out with friends and enjoy the summer weather. The drinks are fire. The staff are so welcoming. Made our night

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a new local coffee shop and bar in 29 palms and I must say, I was blown away by the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with warm wooden accents and comfortable seating. The baristas and bar tenders were friendly and recommend their favorite drinks. But the real star of the show was the coffee itself. It was rich, full-bodied, with just the right notes. I tried a couple different drinks during my visit and each one was a delight. The cold brew was refreshing and energizing, and the pour over was good and nuanced.Overall, I highly recommend this new spot to anyone in the area. Whether you're a seasoned coffee connoisseur or just looking for a relaxing place to grab a cocktail, this is the perfect spot with an excellent happy hour. I can't wait to go back and try more of their many offerings.

We went a little out of our way to go here to get a coffee, it's decorated cute but that's all it has going for it. Horrible service (super rude staff that doesn't even smile or acknowledge you when you enter the shop or order), coffee was hard to drink (burnt milk and burnt coffee) and the music blaring was total club vibes. (not exactly the vibes you want early in the morning) Don't go the extra mile to go here, definitely not worth it!

Nice to have such a spot to stop in the middle of now-here Joshua Tree. I enjoyed a fine drip coffee and some great tunes kept me there longer than I expected.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy coffee and a variety of beverages. Moreover, their internet service is exceptional, which was especially appreciated as our Airbnb lacked high-speed connectivity.

This place has gone severely downhill. I live in Joshua Tree, and have been going to Mas since they first opened. The last two visits however, the music is absolutely BLASTING at 9am during the cafe service. To the point nobody is sitting in the normally coveted front spots. When we mentioned that folks were uncomfortable with the loud speaker, the woman at the register rolled her eyes and walked away. The new staff are rude and have an air of “too good for you”. What was once a thriving community spot, has become the epitome of everything going wrong with Joshua Tree:Gentrified, rude, and LA-esque inconsideration.

I enjoy meeting here with my friends to catch up over a warm matcha latte. Mas o Menos has a few artistic mixologists that craft some of the most delicious beverages I have ever had. The service is great and they're even open late. This place has become a staple within the high desert community.Kid-friendliness: The environment is more child-friendly in the morning when Mas o Menos is mainly a coffee house. As the day progresses, the bar becomes more of the hot topic.

The bar coffee shop fusion we didn’t know we needed. As someone who’s never been to Greece it felt like I was in the desert version of Greece. Also the baristas were so kind. I recommend playing the board game wavelength here although my group was not on the same wavelength. If I could give a 6/5 I would.
