I have a 4 month old corgi that I dropped off to stay with Christina for one night/ 2 full days and my goodness my puppy had a great time. Christina was quick to respond and sent us updates with pictures/videos every few hours. She was extremely kind and you could tell her and her family are huge dog lovers. She made us feel very comfortable leaving our fur friend for the night while we enjoyed the park for the weekend. He was definitely in good hands.

I can't say enough positive things about this place!! I have a pup who can be a bit nervous in new places. Christina completely understood and offered to do a meet and greet before the official stay -- it went great! My dog was so excited to go back there for a 3 night stay where she made lots of friends! Christina was considerate with making sure to maintain our dogs schedule/daily habits and included her in all activities throughout the day. I appreciate the VIP package offered as it allowed my dog to get the feeling of being in a home away from home. Christina is great at communicating and was open to me reaching out to check in, sharing pictures and videos when she had time. It is very clear that being with animals is Christina's passion. We will ABSOLUTELY be using her services again!A quick pic that was sent to us during her stay there, having the time of her life!

A very good place for daycare and boarding! It was really easy to book the day with Christina. She took great care of our dog Moka while we were hiking in the park. They have a great place with a big yard for dogs. She sent us pictures of the day. We recommend!

Joshua Tree Resort is awesome! They took our puppy for two days so we could enjoy the National Park. Daisy was happy - and exhausted - from her fun day playing with the other dogs. We appreciated the kind care they provided and for keeping Daisy safe in the hot weather! Best decision we made!

I had a one day only planned Park visit and was traveling with my husky. As I was driving to the West entrance I passed by Joshua Tree Pet Resort. On a whim, I phoned to see if there were any openings available for the day. Christina is normally booked up as is popular but she had a cancellation and I was able to drop off Leon. He had a wonderful time with other doggies and fenced spaces. And dog mama here had a wonderful day in the Park not worrying about him in the truck. Win, win. Highly recommend this option for furry friends as the park is limited for where pups can go. Please though make reservations in advance as Christina’s place is a popular one. I got lucky!!

It's always a little uncertain when trying out a new kennel or service for our pups. The JTPR was absolutely excellent, and Christina and the staff clearly gets it. Our pup (Sammie, the little white girl) thrived and got a great social and care experience. We will definitely plan on using them when we are in the area. Highly recommended!

Great experience!! My dog Roland thoroughly enjoyed his stay at JT Pet Resort. Christina took her time with me on our initial call, answering all of my questions etc. She was very responsive throughout his stay and her service included administering vaccinations that were due. Our 2-year-old doodle had a great time spending the day at JT Pet Resort while the rest of the family was exploring the national park. He had lots of outdoor space and friends to play with, and at the end we got some fun photos and feedback from Christina. We'd gladly use the Pet Resort again next time we are in town.

We highly recommend Joshua Tree Pet Resort. It was an outstanding daycare for our dog, Sonny. He got lots of attention and exercise. We also received pictures of his days of fun. We will certainly stop by again when we are in the area.

Great experience! We left our 6 month old puppy here from 9am to 6pm. It can be a little nerve wracking to drop off a 6 month old dog anywhere. He’s trained but definitely not 100% consistent given his age. Christina clearly has such an understanding of and love for dogs. She let him play hard with dogs of the right size and temperament for him and he had the best day ever. She even brought him inside to nap when she realized he really needed a nap but wouldn’t go lay down with all the excitement around. Will absolutely be bringing our pup back in the future as we frequent Joshua tree during climbing season.

My Great Dane Brody stayed with Christina for a few days around the holidays. Christina is very communicative, and her commitment to taking excellent care of my pup was readily evident. We needed a place to board our dog, Larry, for a few hours while we went climbing. Our dog can sometimes be anxious with new people but he absolutely loved it! Christina was very communicative and we received pictures of him playing around in the backyard. He was so happy when we picked him up and was so tired from all the fun he had. I would highly recommend Joshua Tree Pet Boarding! We will definitely be back!

Christina was super friendly and accommodating. We contacted her less than 24 hours before arriving to JT and she saved the day for us when she was able to take care of our doggo at the very last minute. She is very responsive and easy to get a hold of. She sent lots of pics and updates during our doggo's last minute stay. Will definitely have her watch our doggo the next time we're in JT!

I left my dog with JT Pet Resort while I went to JT Music Festival for a few days. My dog and I live a nomadic lifestyle and the little guy has never been without me. I was very nervous leaving him and know he has an anxious attachment. JTPR was so accommodating! I selected the VIP option due to my dogs potential for separation anxiety and free roam lifestyle. I will take my dog back there every time we return to Joshua Tree. He was so in love with Christina and it felt like she understood and knew my dog well. She sent pics to me while I was away and he slept in bed with her son. My dog also seems more socialWith other dogs now. Great service all around. Thank you again for everything! See you in May.

I have 2 dogs - one is 5 years old (Milo) and one is almost 7 months (Whiskey). It was our first time leaving Whiskey with someone other than family and she went above and beyond to help Whiskey relax and enjoy his stay. I am so grateful that we found someone we can trust and that our dogs loved! They were extra spoiled being able to stay inside with the VIP experience. She kept us up to date and took so many pictures! We can’t wait to have our pups stay there again!

Our dog JoJo had a wonderful time playing with the other dogs while we were able to explore the park. We felt comfortable and safe leaving him there while we were able to explore. So happy that this doggy daycare is right by the park! Would definitely recommend.

I’ve boarded my Great Pyrenees mix Hudson with them 3-4 in the last year. Both VIP and non. Most recently, VIP for 10 days which included Christmas and New Years. He (and also myself) absolutely adore Christina and her family. They are great communicators! Hudson is sweet as can be, but a lot to handle at times. He always gets a great report card even though I’m sure he has his stubborn boy moments 🤦‍♂️. I’m so incredibly grateful to have their business in our community and will continue to board Hudson there whenever I leave town!

We went to Taiwan for 3 weeks, and our cats Bootsie and Camo were boarded here. Christina bonded with them, and she told me how much she missed them already before we picked them up ,and her son was in love with our cats as well and treat them like house guests. Christina was also responsive and kept us in the loop about how our cats were doing.with pictures. We will definitely take our cats back next time we are on vacation. Christina has been so kind and flexible! I brought my anxious/timid rescue dog Otis for doggy daycare and then in-home overnight boarding. I explained that Otis needs to go slow with new experiences to limit his anxiety and Christina was flexible with drop off/ pick up times, which helped so much in his transition. For his first overnight she kept a watchful eye on him the next day and even texted me when she noticed he was eyeing the door, so I could pick him up a little early and not cause him undue stress. It’s wonderful to see my anxious boy who is a Velcro dog be excited to head inside when I drop him off. He trots right inside and doesn’t even look back for me!

We boarded our pup Ruby at Joshua Tree Pet Resort for 3 nights in Oct'20 while we camped in the park, and Christina took excellent care of her. We selected the VIP boarding, which is a wonderful option and a really great value as she got to sleep in the house and treated as one of the family. We got pics of her snuggling in bed with for naps with them! Christina even took care of an allergic reaction in Ruby's ear that cropped up right before our trip, and treated and cleaned it to perfection.One thing to note is that you sign a significant amount of paperwork ahead of boarding, including several difficult questions about what to do in the event of an emergency in case JTPR can't reach you while you're in the park (there's no service in most of it), which can be a little troubling. Rest assured that even with no service to check in on how your pet is doing, they will receive the best quality care while with JTPR, especially with the VIP boarding!

We needed a place to board our 60 lb shep mix and had an earlier booking with someone else fall through - she was able to accommodate a last minute VIP spot so our pup could stay in the house overnight and the experience was great! We give Joshua Tree Pet Resort an A++++++++.We boarded 3 dogs 2 Lab mix seniors and a 1 year old for 3 days in the Vip section.Gypsy, Shilo and Boots.We traveled from northern Ca to southern Ca for the Stagecoach Concert in Indio.We checked reviews and called all sorts of places from here to there.Gypsy who is getting better from an auto immune problem, Shilo has some real separation anxiety, Boots just a year old.After talking with Christina we just knew this was the place for them to stay.It was Boots first time and it had been ages since Gypsy and Shilo have been in a boarding situationThey were treated like family. We can't say enough except so so grateful to have a outstanding pet resort to leave our fur babies.They were absolute happy campers and slept most of the way home except for pit stops. We traveled over 600 miles one way.Highly Recommended. Thank you so much for such care and treatment. If we are in this area in the future and need to board our boo booswe will without a doubt make reservations for them to stay here.

I was so happy to find Joshua Tree Pet Resort on our recent trip to Joshua Tree. Our dog comes with us everywhere, but dogs are not allowed on trails within the park so when we decided to go climbing we had to leave him behind for the day. I was so pleased to see the great reviews of this place and when i connected with Christina she put me at ease and made me feel confident in leaving my dog with her for the day. I would highly recommend, so glad this place exists!
