The mobile clinic is great. The help owners by offering a low cost vaccine & spay & neuter clinic They have great group of people working for them .Professional & courtesy. They care a great deal for the pets & owners. I can rave on & on about how great they are. They are actually in it to make a difference in the pet population & are a friction of cost then to typical vet hospitals. Thank you for such a a caring atmosphere. I will be seeing you again soon. I make a 160 mile round trip from Apple Valley to get my feral cats spayed & neutered .6 ⭐♥️ all the way around .Thank you!

We were on vacation and brought a cute puppy that someone unfortunately abandoned here. They were knowledgeable and helpful. I hope our little puppy friend finds a new home! Angel was such a great person to talk to and she helped guide us and we really appreciated it.

You could not ask for better people who do so much with so little money. Spend a lot of time and energy saving these animals. That jerk with the negative comment was angry because the people at the shelter wouldn’t give them a pet because they have rules. They know when pets shouldn’t be adopted. Just because you want a pet doesn’t mean you should have one. Please donate if you can. They truly deserve it. Thanks, Martha’s husband.

Super friendly staff, worked with us to match the perfect pet. Love that they're a no-kill shelter, and appreciate how much support they need to be that. ❤️❤️❤️

It was ok there. The girls at desk were very nice and informative. Guys in the back not so welcoming. The doggies seem well taken care of and place was clean. It's always heartbreaking for me because I wish I can take all of them home. They didn't have any small dogs. So, maybe next time. Ty girls

Drove there a day after Yucca Valley shelter advised us to come there for adoptable dogs and completed adoption application online. Nothing on website about dogs not being adoptable. After we arrived at the shelter 20 minutes after their advertised opening time, their sign says they're closed and to complete adoption application on line but that they're not adopting any dogs out.The door was open so clearly they could hear us. Girl in scrubs made eye contact but ignored us. No communication whatsoever. It's sad because the ones who really suffered here are the animals.Online it says they're hurting for funds but I saw no indication once there they wanted any extrinsic patronage to keep those dogs alive. It's almost 110゚ outside and the smell of dog urine wafts through the air. You'd think they'd want to give these dogs a nice cool home ASAP or at least communicate on their websites why they're not adopting dogs out. I suspect it's primarily being used as a detainment facility while owners are reached or prosecuted. But communication is a must if they expect support. Not going back there or donating my money or supplies.

I volunteer here every weekend. The staff that work here truly love the dogs and cats that are sheltered here, and want the best for them. They'll only allow good people to adopt. So as long as you're not a member of the Manson family, why not swing on by?Have a good one.

We were assisted by Angel (the angel) in adopting a dog from the shelter that had belonged to a dear friend who passed away. Angel is so compassionate and helpful. Amazing since she is now the only employee at this location.

I visited this office. Rose went up and beyond. Her knowledge and personality are calming. I did get my paperwork from Riverside to San Bernardino transfer for my fur baby taken care of . I did also ask for a tour of the grounds. Very clean, and she knew the names and spoke with the 4 legged dog's. Waiting for a forever home.

This is a very worthy shelter the animals are very well kept and loved by the staff that work there. It is and has been a no-kill shelter. It's supported by many businesses and by donations from the community. It's the first place I think about when adopting a new family member. Thanks to all who support this shelter with their time and donations, I am proud to have such a loving place to go with the family to adopt the most beautiful of G-ds creatures. They aren't just pets they become valued members of the adopting families lives.

In April of 2004, I adopted my dog from here. He was a four month old husky mix whose name at the time was Alpine.I changed his name to Jack and he's been traveling with me ever since. At 16 years old, he's lived in all four corners of the country, illegally entered Canada at one point (temporarily), and currently resides in Kodiak, AK.Maybe this has become a review more about my dog.I remember the staff being very helpful.

Great service. They know a lot about the animals and take very good care of them. Their manager angel is a blessing and runs a wonderful shop. Highly recommended if you are trying to find a good pet companion.

They are really great with people and animals. Its completely voluntary so all profits go to helping the animals. They have areas for the animals to get exercise and each animal gets their own bed. Anyone can come by to play, walk or just look. The adoption prize is low and they make it easy to find the right animal for the right person.

We had a scared, somewhat feral cat that was difficult to catch. When we managed to trap her they fit us into the spay schedule without hesitation. The work they are doing is so critical in helping to curb the overpopulation crisis of cats & dogs. What could have been a difficult and negative experience turned into a positive result with these dedicated professionals helping us take a once fearful, feral cat living in a wood pile and is now assimulating into a loving part of our cat family.

If this is a legitimate humane society it sure can't prove it by me. I am a 66 yr old woman who travels in her 40' MH fulltime around the country. After serious consideration my husband and I decided that we would love to take on the responsibility of a dog. When I stopped at the Morongo Basin Humane society I had every intention to get a small dog that would be loved. But I was rudely informed that they would not let me have a dog because I didn't have a fenced in yard. Of course I don't have a fenced yard, I have no yard at all but I do have the capability like thousand of other people who live in a Motorhome and travel the country, to put a leash on a dog and take it for a walk 3 or 4 times a day. To deprive a orphaned dog the opportunity to have a loving home is wrong! This isn't the only time they have denied qualified people pets to adopt. My son and his family went here looking for a pet and were told (rudely) that they could not have a pet (even thought they have a well fenced yard) because he works during the day and the pet would be left home alone. Are they saying that people who work shouldn't have dogs? That is not only wrong but absurd. I don't thing these people want to find homes for their pets and they should not be begging for money to care for pets that they are not finding homes for. DO NOT give your pet to these people if you have to give them up! DO NOT give these people money to care for these pets, they don't deserve it.Janet Nordlund

I don't reccomend this place to anyone there are rude staff members I was told it would take 48 hours to be told if I was a qualified candidate for the most sweetest cat I've been calling every day for over a week I'm a good person with a beautiful home and just wanted a new fluffy friend to enjoy the house with since I have been calling I have been told they would call me back or to check my email and I am frustrated with getting the run around I don't understand why I can't get a yes or a no the building was filthy and they have all these animals who need to go to good homes they definitely need to get new help because the people who are working there clearly are passing up good people and animals who deserve to be loved and token care of

Well behaved animals, but moronic policies. "You can't adopt a cat unless you chop your dogs balls off." Definitely going elsewhere rather than causing harm to my dog.

Very rude when I submitted my application for adoption. Was told they couldn't help me till they were able to get to my paper while they were sitting doing nothing. I turned in my application for the adoption of a 3 month old puppy and was told I would be called. Waited 3+ hours till I called them and they told me someone else got it and so I didn't have enough time to get a different one since they closed in 20mins. Lost the main gift for my wife on valentines day.
