This is a very convenient location for shopping in downtown JT. There is really no competition for 10 miles unless you want to count the gas stations. The staff is friendly and courteous. The huge problem with this location is that the people that do their ordering have absolutely no clue what they are doing. The shelves are frequently empty for key everyday items. With proper management and inventory tracking in a tourist trap like they have here, this place could be an absolute gold mine.

The staff are knowledgeable and helpful at this store. I had an overcharge and returned the next day. Over the phone they invited me back and in person management handled the situation proffessionally and courteously. Managers name is Serena. Her staff seems to work as a team . It takes a lot to impress an old fool like me but hats off to Serena and her whole crew,

I always have the best experience when I shop here. All of the employees are ready to assist when needed. Visited the store today and received exceptional service from Edden at check out. Kudos to Brittnnee, she kept her cool with a line of people that I held up because I went over my budget and had to put some stuff back. And she was fast. Lol. I jacked everything up and she had it handled quick. I love our little store here. Y'all got a good crew! Thank you Brittnnee!! I would also like to add a commendation for Matt. I believe that's his name. He's was super helpful and guided me right to what I needed! I appreciate you guys!

It’s complete amateur hour in there. The employees don’t know what they’re doing so double check your receipts so you don’t get over charge but make sure to be polite when you tell them or else they will accuse you of lying. Oh and if you want to talk to the supervisor good luck they are all the supervisor. Lol. It used to be where customer service took care of the customer but now they just get mad at the customer.

It is a very nice looking store-front. I may have had some preconceived notions of Dollar General and was expecting lower prices overall. They have a copious variety of merchandise. For now it gets a generous 3 stars (rounded up) from me.

Way overpriced. $18 for a 32-pack of water, a bag of twisted Fritos and a bag of Cheetos. And then you charge me $0.70 to donate to the local. Really?

Stopped for a bathroom bc I’m pregnant and traveling. The sign on the door said “for customers only - we are not a rest stop”I don’t mind buying something for a bathroom use but then I went in the bathroom is FILTHY and only had the tiniest bit of toilet paper, which was on the floor.I’m sure it’s tough stopping people from coming in just for a restroom; but if you expect people to buy something for the restroom, then it needs to be maintained. I’m not paying for garbage & I didn’t today.

This is by far my most favorite store. The staff is always super friendly and you can find just about anything you're looking for. From groceries, to nick knacks, to laundry stuff. I love this place!

I have been shopping at dollar general for four years. I use to love it but recently I was told by an associate while I was shopping in the store that "security is watching you." So I no longer shop there anymore.

You can run in get what u need a be out the door in 5 minutes. I've lived in JT all my life. This store is very convenient. I don't feel I need to check the date on everything like the 2 other stores in JT. I think it's a total thumbs up.

Items priced wrong and the employees blame the mistake on customers saying they must have changed the price tag. Unbelievable that the first thing out of the employees mouth was to blame the customers instead of just fixing the mistake. Very poor customer service at this location.

love that they have everything you need I went in there for some last minute shopping for a birthday cake and I got everything plus I got all these solar lights that I love for so cheap so inexpensive I had to buy so many of them love them and needed to thank you Dollar general

Is the CEO sleeping with the city planners or something? How many Dollar generals can one area need. 2 in yucca. 1 in jt, 2 in 29, 1 in landers, 1 in morongo. Keep JT local! It’s a small desert community with NO need for anymore of these cheap and ugly corporate stores 😒

Love the Joshua Tree DG. It's very organized very clean. You can find everything your looking for. Believe me I've been in a lot of DG and this one the best.

This is an affordable store that has everything you currently need. The prices are cheaper then Walmart. Shop local and support Dollar General who employs local people. They brought jobs to Joshua Tree so let's support them.

Great place to shop at. But need more cat food. Like DELECTABLES BISQUE N CHICKEN ONE. THEN WHISKAS PURRFECTLY CHICKEN ENTEE. ALWAYS BE OUT OF THOSE WAY. IF YOU ORDER MORE YOU WILL SALE MORE. I KNOW I USED TO BE MEAT CUTTER FOR LUCKY STORE ALBERTSONS STORE IN SAVE MART 18 YEARS CUTTING ME AROUND THE MEAT DEPARTMENT VERY IMPORTANT GET MORE CAT FOOD IN THANK YOU CHERYL
