Locally owned and staffed, this Ace hardware store has so many great items, a whole new selection of tools and other home improvement items. If you live in easterly spring valley, Rancho San Diego, Jamul, Dulzura, or Potrero, Jamul Ace Hardware has most of everything you need. From chainsaw to lumber, concrete to cleaning supplies, screen repair, basic automotive, full paint section with color mixer, power tools and plumbing, plus a whole bunch more. Most locals agree it’s a waste of gas driving to Home Depot or Lowe’s, when Jamul Ace Hardware has such a great selection (including live plants 🌱 ) I personally am impressed that they carry Marvel Mystery Oil, which I use in our family’s 1930 Model A.

Great friendly staff very knowledgeable they always have the weird little things that I need to find or a way to make something happen if what I need doesn't exist plus I really like the popcorn I highly recommend this place anyone in the area

I ALWAYS love going to my Local hardware store. I have never had any problems finding what I need, or a store employee that wasn't friendly or helpful in over 7years! I will try to ALWAYS shop my local stores before going to bigger stores. Love their free popcorn too!

The place I usually go first. Usually cheaper than Dixieline and Home Depot. And usually have odd stuff I need. I never believe a small store could such specialized things. This trip was the same and free popcorn on the way out. Oh yeah, they pointed me right to the things I needed .

Amazing store, with amazing people, my car had broken down, and they were the nearest hardware store that had what i needed. Hiked 3 miles there. The staff was super helpful in trying to figure out what would work to remedy my problem exactly. They even offered to give me a ride back to my car.

Love Jamul Hardware!!! During the pandemic everyone that works here has really made a customers shopping experience 100 fold better. You can “preorder”, curbside, call ahead, however you need it they will do it. We shopped there as needed before and only there now. I would rather support local and small during this pandemic but after seeing how customer centric they are, I’m a new forever customer.Thanks JH for all you have done and will do to help the community still get stuff done. Really appreciate the folks at this store in many ways.

J H is the most complete hardware store around San Diego as per the store size and well worth going to.Prices may be a few $'s higher but that's ok as the time saved along with the fuel saved, makes it all worth while.

A small store with a huge amount tucked inside. A ton of oddball hardware that you're hard-pressed to find else where as well as some dated stuff that home depot and Lowe's have discountined but people still need. Enough lumber and concrete to do a job or get you out of a bind. The Very knowledgeable staff can usually get you out of any situation you're in even if it requires half the staff. Wire,rope,chain, and tubing all sold by the foot and they offer rekeying services. The master mechanic brand of tools they stock is a nice homeowner grade tool. Won't last with a contractor but also aren't as awful as harbor freight. A nice middle ground for the average homeowner. They have quality bit sets from dewalt and milaukee to go with your drills and impact drivers.
