I have mixed emotions about this business. I'm not sure if it's a new owner or a new policy. But they do not support local animals at all. I'm talking shelters and local fur kid business. Now look I get you have to watch your peas. I understand if you help one you should help them all. And I do with my business. It just rubs me wrong when our local shelter asked for help. And wasn't $$$. I myself have been asking since I support and supply local animal shelters if I could share just that, taking pictures and showing that our local store has this ECT! I got told no. So I went to the grocery outlet in Jackson. Not only did they donate $$ dog food and toys . And still donates to the local shelter and other places around town. I could also say how most of the staff has a lack of knowledge it's called fake it until you get caught.

Missing a lot of their inventory, empty shelves, stuff missing from tanks.They FINALLY got dwarf hair grass but their tanks are so infested with pond snails that buying anything from their fresh water fish tanks is dooming your aquarium to being forever infested.Naturally, they have no assassin snails despite having usually carried them, which is odd sekeing as they need at least 10 per tank to try and stop the infestation.

Took my 18 month old german shep to get a bath and nails done. The grooming staff was super sweet and and patient with my scared and nervous pups. Will definitely be back.

There ok a little pricey and the dog groomers need more training they never do a good job ! They have had some amazing people that work for them but after a while they quit and I understand why but they're dog grooming department needs some work

Petco Grooming is a cut above. Rielly May was amazing with my ACD. She made sure to greet him before taking him back making him feel more at ease. She paid attention to his intake form and was very knowledgeable.

I can't ever remember her name but it's the girl who works in there with the fish. She wears dark eyeliner. I just wanted to point out how awesome she is!! Everytime I go in there she is so helpful to me about the fish. What products I need, food, conditioner, anything and she knows what she's talking about. She always is very helpful and I just wanted to point out her awesome knowledge and service

really do not appreciate the husbandry of the animals (especially reptiles) here.i bought a leopard gecko here and was absolutely baffled at the conditions he was in. unsanitary, dead crickets left in the cage, harmful reptile carpet, no enrichment, hardly enough hides, and little room to even thermoregulate.luckily my little guy is very happy in his new home now, and i have been giving him the care he deserves.never buying another animal from here again

I have been to several Petco’s and the Jackson Petco is the best I’ve been to. The bird I got from there was so sweet, you can tell they take time with them. Very informative there as well. They have a wonderful bunch of people working there, I won’t go to any other place. Love them!

Try to return a couple of bags of food that my cats don’t like, because it’s been little over a month they did not take them back, but offered to put them in the garbage for me🤔.Manager did not wanted to give me store credit.Never going back to Petco, I rather go to Online or Walmart, and I don’t even care for Walmart.

I arrived at the store, planning to go in and pick up my on line order and the clerk met me outside in the parking lot carrying my 35 lb bag of dog food. She was very friendly and observant to notice my car by description on the order. After a long day at work I was very happy for this service!

Terrible service, was told I couldn't buy fish at this location because they said my fish tank was too small to replace the fish I had already had for 4+ years... was told by other stores that the amount of fish was fine, in the past... I have never had this issue before and will take my business else where, from now on.

I was happy with all the purchases. The staff were extremely friendly. Also, the one cashier seemed genuinely concerned about other customers. That's a plus in my book. I'd bring my pet there any day.

Was greeted by a very helpful employee and very informative. However the two cashier's took a long time talking to one customer about how she could not control her dog who was not present or scheduled for classes that day ignoring me at the end. They didnt respond to me untill I put my order down in one of their displays. I only took the food I needed and not the small things I had grabbed on impulse because of this. I already prefer chewy over pet stores and this reminded me why.
