I went in today to buy dog food. I've been going for a long time. I know I can get it cheaper else where. But, I try to buy from locally owned businesses as much as possible. Today I learned that the 13 lb dog food I've been purchasing went from being 38.99 to 58.99. Exact same brand, type, flavor, etc. When I asked why it went up so much, the girl just shrugged and stared at me. Ooookay. Guess I'm fine with fed Barn

This place will never change its in Pioneer, Ca. Very beautiful place to live. Although the businesses are too high-priced because it's a rural area I'm sure and because they can there's a lot of rich people who drive the prices up because they will pay it but there's a lot of homeless people who can't afford any of it we can't even afford their dog food good thing we don't have to eat that hahaha

Great prices great service very friendly staff. I highly recommend the Feed Barn.Update 7/22. Still a good place but prices are really going up. Grass hay now 12.99 for 1/3 mini bales. Purina goat feed was under 20 dollars, now just under 30. Ouch. To be fair we all know prices are up everywhere.

Out of stock of leather hats. One gal didn't even know cowboy attire terms and was too quite and shy to even try to help me, the other didn't even want to help me. Said the manager usually does that. So i guess only the manager orders stuff, but she didn't point me in a direction to find what i was looking for like every other store employee at other stores i came across did.I've had people call other stores and recommend other stores.I even offered to wait for her to check out the 1 customer in line and she insisted on waiting the other customer to tell me her manager helps people when they actually need it.Overall a bad experience. Not a place i wanna spend money.They knew very little of the products i was asking about. Basic cowboy stuff.They literally could've tried to help me to get me to buy stuff there and they can order that stuff. But i guess getting people out the door so you can play on your phone is more important than making a sale and actually running a buisness.

Always super cutely decorated in here. It's very clean, and neat, and the workers from what I've dealt with are nice. The only downside to this store, and why I'm not giving it another star, is that the prices can be high on things. But if you're not worried about that than it's a five star place!

Did not buy anything but Always love going here to see the adoption kittens. Glad to see there were only 3 left and a nice employee let my niece hold one of the kittens. Please someone help get the kittens a home adoption fee is only $75 would be a great way to spend some of that stimulus money.

They always have a great deal somewhere in the store. More importantly they always seem to have what I'm looking for. This time it was rope to make my 3 he old a lasso like Dino Ranchers. Thank you for all the great customer service for last couple decades now.

been going here about 6 yrs now, no more. this storeused to be a great place with great staff, no more. today i returned an item and was treated so rudely by the woman behind the counter, i was shocked. i understand not everything can be returned, i was prepared for that but the way she talked to me was very unprofessional and rude.

Staff not as good and friendly under new owners. Prices are too high, hay quality down. Didn't ask if it was for edible live stock. Had to tell them.Never been thr same after John sold it

I love this place ! Have you ever been into a store and almost over helped lol. Not that it's a bad thing.. I love the kids at this store finally a group of kids working and not on their phones 🤣 very polite and helping me save money and time is a win. Thank you to each one of you ! I love all donations this business does. Friendly people to help you. Wish they carried bigger sizes in shirts and skirts/pants. Like up to 4x. I have to buy from online and I would like to support my local businesses. Also it would help if Rachel Ray cat and dog food was sold there too.

Great place to find western clothing and jewelry as they have lots of it.Mens and womans depts. Feed of every type and a big dog supply section that includes food, toys warm jackets and fancy collars. Tack and livestock care items, fencing of all types,great assortment of hay.All around great store and customer service. If you have room for a nice kitty they have an adoption area inside with cute cats and kittens that would love to have a new home. Check em out its worth a visit.Ok have to change this 5* review ( I am being easy on them dropping it to 2* out of kindness)...this place took a huuuuge dive when it was taken over by new owners. Place stinks of rodents, and mice are running around inside like they own the place(I was in here 5min and personally saw 5 of them scurry cross the isles as I walked by). Its dirty and not as well stocked as before, they sell cigarettes,and smoking paraphernalia here as well now, just what you DON'T need in your barn. I don't get it. The prices have gone up but the service has gone down. Just go elsewhere, you can thank me later.

The selection of food items for your pets and livestock is really good. They also have lots of clothes. I went there for 3 bails of straw to use as a target. About $9 a bail isn't too bad.

I love this place! You can get all your livestock needs here, but so much more! Natural, handmade soaps, lotion, lip balm, etc. Western wear and other clothing for men & women. Nice shoes, as in cute shoes and heels for women or utility shoes, such as rain boots. There's knick knacks, everything you need for baby chicks & adult chickens, and so much more.

Good people, good prices and knowledgeable about each pet they cater to, only reason for 4 stars is that they often run out if stock of some of their more popular horse feed, but they always order it for you and call you when it's ready for pickup.

Gosh, love the atmosphere there. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. My wife lost her new watch there and they had the honesty and integrity to find it and contact us. Good people.

Nice prices service in the store was bad we were out of hay and in a hurry to get back with feed for are horses and the young sales girl act like we were bothering her by trying to buy hay this is the second time this young lady waited on us and she was rude both times
