Manager is always so rude!!!! awhile ago I had an interview scheduled and came a few minutes early. Asked for the manager when I walked in and she said she was the manager with an attitude and she didn’t schedule any interviews, I told her I spoke to someone named Dakota over the phone who scheduled the time and she said that was the assistant manager and she won’t give me an interview because she wasn’t the one who set it up. She’s always extremely rude and every encounter I have with her is horrible, I’m actually thankful she didn’t give me the interview cause I would’ve hated working with someone so negative. Today I came in to buy stuff for my daughters birthday party, put my stuff on the counter and said hello only to be COMPLETELY ignored by her and another worker. After standing there for a few minutes they continued their conversation and still wouldn’t acknowledge me despite both of them both looking me in the face. Just left the items there and walked away. Imo she should be fired, also the racks in the refrigerators are covered in mold even though if told them every time I came. They could not care less.

They have most of what you need, problem is they always have a "cash only" sign up most of the time. Since the price of everything is ridiculous, and Dollar General is slow on the uptick to reduce prices, this means you can't get what you want.

Alway lacking on self stalking and have rude attitude ban someone because of 57 cents tryed to resolve the issue being an adult but no luck doing so and they took down the customer complaint number and refused to give it to me told me I had to look it up my self because the manger took it down can’t even give basic info to a customer so on doing so makes me not want to support this store any more the store number is 15007 so I was told don’t even know if that’s right don’t know if they need better training or what or the need to hire more ppl that would be better suited for the job because this is ridiculous this is there poor excuse for customer service in the inyokern ca 93527

Really nice store stoped for restrooms but we’re out of order. Walked at wound the store they have a bunch of things and we’ll organized. Food, snacks house items and clothing, shoes blankets everything !Older lady was so nice and polite I wish everyone was like her. She reminded me of a nice grandmother, she gave us recommendations as to where we could find another restroom.

Very clean. Has all the essentials plus more. Great sales. Cute seasonal items. UPDATE November 2022. Lowered star rating to 3. They have added more items which means the store has been rearranged. The aisles are very narrow now and things seem unorganized. Also the lack of personnel who actually want to work is obvious in this store. The store is not as neat and tidy as it was pre-pandemic.

My go to place when I don’t feel like driving all the way to Ridgecrest. Good prices and clean store, they must receive their shipments quite often because if you go in one day and what you need is out of stock almost guaranteed it will be there the next day. At least that’s what I’ve noticed every time this has happened.

The staff are great! Randy, Elaine, Gary, Tieler, Curtis, Kim and Heaven are all very awesome people and treat their customers like friends. Since I end up going here just about every day, you can trust that I would let the world know if this place were anything less than excellent.

Employees were great. Only downside they had not one thing I came for, which I was really bummed about. They had no Milk or Eggs on a Sunday morning which I found unusual. My Grandpa who lives in Ridgecrest said this was not usual which is great news. I'll try again next time.

Very well managed, and stocked up store in middle of nowhere. The town is so small, we were surprised to see a dollar general store. Prices are very cheap, and asst. manager, Natalie is awesome. She managed the whole store alone, and went way over board to help us.

Now on the other hand this dollar general in the fabouasLake Isabella I give five stars very friendly clean the shelves were packed. There is a beautiful view once you arrive to the location. I recommend shopping there.

If you haven't noticed that the price listed where the product is on the shelf is often more at the register. I have told the manager about this for well over a year. They must not care. I have also purchased stale product thinking it was OK. The staff has always been good people.

I bought one gallon of Swiss milk from this location with an expiration date of 01/06/13. But this milk, which I purchased, was bad when I tried it on 01/01/13, I was unable to return it to the store on that day because of work and my busy schedule but today I had a break in my schedule so I took the gallon of Swiss milk back for an exchange. 01/04/13 On or there about 9:14 pm I returned the milk to the store for an exchange and was denied an exchange at the front counter by the clerk who in the past had been rude and very unkind on my other times of purchase, he said California law would not allow him to return or refund any food items at any stores in the state of California I knew this was a false hood, I then told him I was unhappy with my purchase and Dollar General Satisfaction Guarantee did apply. He again denied my request and said he would give me his managers or the corporate office number if I would like to talk with them, I agreed and waited for the number. He then told me to leave the store and I was not welcome to shop there any more I asked for the mangers name, he then picked up the phone and called the police saying I threatened him and wait right there he was going to send me to jail. I went to the car and left the parking lot.The clerk who I had seen many times in my past almost one year of shopping was very rude so I would try to avoid him as much as possible, I have spent a minimum of one thousand eight hundred ($1,800.00) with this location and have never returned not one single purchase including but not limited to Swiss milk, however this purchase of Swiss milk was bad and I was due a refund or an exchange and that was my business being there I should not be threaten with jail or the police because of bad product, which I was seeking an exchange or return of funds!

I come here often and usually talk to Jenise or Amanda. They are both lovely ladies and perform checkout duties as friendly and courteously as possible. As for the Dollar General itself, it's a little pricier than Kmart and Walmart, but they were kind enough to build it in our small little town of Inyokern and for picking up a few items every other day, the convenience of not having to complete a 20 mile round trip in to town is worth any extra money you might spend. Great job ladies, keep up the good work!

I am EXTREMELY dissapointed with this store. Everytime I'd go there to shop you could NEVER take a cart outside to the parking lot. I'm disabled and had to struggle in the hood with my stuff. Tonigjt I took my son. I entered the store and there was NO CARTS. I asked the employee CAMI where we're all the carts?? She replied in a VERY NASTY DEMEANOR. ...THEY WERE ALL STOLEN!! AND we only have one and it's being used. I looked at that person and turned around and left the store. I usually have my walker but tonight I had my cane...I can't wait to see that store go under...Not just because of all the Bums That hang out there but because they are RUDE to people who spend their hard earned money there. I will never step foot in that store again. And first thing in the morning I'm contacting the AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT...They discriminate to the Handicap!!! They obviously decided to let customers take carts outside the store and they were all stolen by........BUMS!!!

I like Dollar General. This one is located in Inyokern CA a far cry from civilization..I apprwciated the service as well as the prices here. Fourty years ago, Ridgegecrest had no stoplights.

Great little store with good deals on a wide selection of groceries, OTC medications, household goods, pet supplies, cleaning products, paper goods, etc. Employees are friendly and helpful.
