We stopped by the Inverness Store while exploring the local community of Inverness and the Point Reyes area. The store is conveniently situated right off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, making it very easy to access on my drive through town and the layout of the store itself made browsing easy. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the old-fashioned, charming atmosphere of the place. Everything about the place exuded quaint charm and stepping inside felt like stepping back in time. We perused the shelves and found some ice cream for the road. The Inverness Store is an easy stop for treats or necessities in the area!

Was iffy about this store when we walked in. Definitely not was what we’re used to but we were hungry. Saw the deli and got some sandwiches. There’s no customer service, I think it’s a family business. They seemed grumpy but the sandwiches were good. $12.99 a sandwich.

This place was awesome. Anything that isn't 5-stars is selling it short. Delicious sandwich with super fresh, crisp veggies. A monstrous selection of craft sodas. It was old school and charming. Is it the greatest sandwich you'll ever eat? No. But it's a great spot in the middle of a beautiful nowhere. Load up on sammies and soda on your way to the beach.

I love this store. They make great sandwiches and have a wonderful view of Tomales Bay. Nice quiet (main) road in a quaint cute town. The local wildlife likes to hang out by the Point Reyes wreck out back.

Uneven service but good sandwiches and snacks. Great location.First time I was here with my friends and the guy (owner?) was very friendly and the sandwiches were so good. Huge portions. Also they have a cool selection of snacks and drinks. It’s by the side of tomales bay so it’s a nice spot. I was looking forward to coming back- point Reyes is a nice place to ride bikes and eat sandwiches.Second time there and a woman (another owner it seemed) was kind of rude when I asked if I could park my van there while I biked if I bought something. She allowed it but kinda said she didn’t like it…. Fair- but they have a huge parking lot and almost no one in it.Got a sandwich and the guy at the counter was kinda rude also and put onions on it when i asked for “everything but onions.”Try to hit it when the friendly guy is there I guess.

You have to stop here, even if you don't need food or stuff. Park towards the back of the store and you'll know what I'm talking about. Yes the famous shipwreck SS Point Reyes

Great sandwiches! Snacks of every kind. So many kinds of chocolate! Frozen dinners and ice cream. But no fresh produce. Since there are no food places in Pt Reyes National Park, this place is an essential stop. Also, it's the only place to get affordable meals in Inverness. It has picnic tables inside and a porta-potty by the parking lot.

Good Little grocery store. Good sandwich. There is not much else there around to compete haha. It's a good pit stop on your way to the beach.

The cashier was a young man who had a very curt and indifferent attitude. He didn't even bother to bag my items and just handed me a plastic bag before proceeding to check out the next person and mixing our purchases. They also overcharge for all snacks, I got two drinks, two chips and two cup noodles and paid around $35!

It was my first time coming here, and the lady was rude-we were hungry and we ordered sandwiches and she refused to toast them, the Spanish guy was really rude and hostile, they were rushing us to order, and I paid over $50 for two sandwiches, a bag of chips and two drinks, never coming here again, we love point Reyes. Next time we are bringing our own food they will rip you off.!!

Staff was apathetic and the store was quite frankly a bit bizarre and barren. They did have snacks which was great but overall the vibe felt cheap, unmaintained and ambivalent. Mopping the floors and better lighting would go a long way.

We were starving after hiking out at Point Reyes and swung by here on our way back. Phenomenal turkey and avocado sandwich (like seriously one of the best I've had anywhere) from the deli, and my wife loved the soda selection (particularly the ginger beer with lime she bought).

We were looking for a spot to get sandwiches. Everything around was closed but they were open. I was very surprised at how good my avocado turkey sandwich Tasted.

Very friendly, open and spacious good sandwiches and sometimes she has oysters and salmon! Also excellent wine and soda selection, and they are keeping up in accordance with the guidelines of covid-19 so it's a very clean safe environment.

If you need bread, jam, cheese, wine and ice cream, they have it. Look past it's appearance. Lots of parking. Staff was friendly. No rest room but the state park "maintains" a portable toilet just past the parking lot. You must really need to use it to use it.

First of all, the store is "interesting." It has a lot of walking space and only a couple of shelves. The chips were kind of expensive, but the price was still acceptable and we ended up buying a few. Then, after I purchased my Clamato spicy tomato juice, I realized that it looked stale and was expired for at least a couple of months. I went back to the store to point it out (it was printed in a very fine font), they let me go and get another drink. I got a bottle of Gatorade and at least they were nice enough to acknowledge their fault. They also have a sandwich making station to the left of the entrance, but I didn't get to try it because the prices seemed too high. Be aware of expired foods.

The store was well stocked but the service was very disappointing. The lady who made the deli sandwich was very rude, impatient and charged us more than was listed on the menu. The sandwich itself was very dry and overpriced.

Useful mix of items. A short wall of boutique brand root beers, cream sodas, lemonades, ginger beers, etc. You can still rent a DVD for that vacation rental that's off the grid. Good sandwiches.

A great old fashioned country store. From deli counter to old fashioned sodas you won't find anywhere else. Vintage old fashioned candies & drinks. Alcohol to camping equipment, it's all there. One stop store.

Although it looks like it’s just been hit by some natural disaster, the store has a good selection of snacks and beverages. We stop here often on the way back from Pt Reyes.
